Service is always great, carry out is fast and a good price for all the food you get! My favorite/go-tos are the dumplings, lo mein, and wonton soup. Kung pao chicken was a little lacking in flavor, their other chicken dishes were better.

I ordered takeout but the lo mein and dumplings were the perfect take out items for the price!!!

I've been searching for good Chinese takeout since i moved to Nashville, and Hong Kong is the latest stop on this journey. It's in a small, older shopping center. No problem finding parking. It seems to be a popular takeout spot as people consistently came in and out to grab orders. Love: service (quick & courteous) Like: General Tso chicken (a little too sweet for me; needed to be spicier) Dislike: plain lo mean (just noodles; didn't taste like it had been cooked in soy sauce or anything)

When I say this is the best Asian to go food around, I mean in. The Mongolian Beef with Onions could be my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, a basic egg roll by them is one to note! Not my first, and not my last time eating this food! You won't find a better place for takeout- sorry for the iffy picture haha phone did not eat first.

Gen Tao's Shrimp was amazing! So much BIG battered shrimp in a light, sweet, savory sauce. Broccoli and white rice with it. Yum. Hot and Plenty Perfection! (I had already eaten 1/2 before this photo too )

It's much better than the surrounding Chinese restaurants. Their egg foo yung and Yang Chow fried rice is excellent! Good food!

Loved how close and fast this is. But it's not what I'm used to coming from Austin, Tx. The sauce is more sweet and sour than spice

Best takeout Chinese in Nashville. Portion sizes are better than most, and the General Tsos is just delicious.

It was an interesting restaurant as we walked in. The decor didn't come across as Chinese. I'm glad my daughter was familiar with the place because I would not have known to go to the back counter to order. I tried asking a couple things about the menu but could not understand the worker that well. It seemed that he couldn't understand me either because he initially put in the wrong orders -- my daughter caught it before we paid. Very reasonable prices. I ordered the Roast Duck Noodles with the Marinated Egg added. My daughter got her usual "Build a Bowl" of Chong Qing Broth, Sliced Noodles, Steak and Fried Egg. I thought I had ordered a Shrimp Wonton appetizer, but a bowl of soup arrived. After asking the worker about it, he just kept saying it was soup (I know), so I just left that alone. Overall quite delicious -- very authentic Chinese flavors. Excellent house made noodles. The depth of flavor in the broths was fantastic. The proteins were seasoned nicely and cooked well. The bok choy in my soup still had a nice bite. The fried egg was crispy on the edges and perfectly runny in the middle. Unfortunately, I found the marinated egg too salty. Service was minimal -- after ordering, the food comes out and that's it. If you need something, you have to get up to ask. No one checks in. The area wasn't busy when we arrived, so parking was very easy right in front. I'm told it does get tough during peak times. I would definitely return for the food, not the service.

We ordered chicken and mushroom dumplings, hot and sour soup, and some boba teas. If you visit Dumpling House, you absolutely have to order the chicken and mushroom dumplings! They are hands-down the star of the menu. The dumpling skins are rolled perfectly thin with just the right amount of chew. Inside, the filling is incredibly flavorful and savory--the earthy richness of the mushrooms blends beautifully with the tender, juicy chicken. Every single bite is packed with delicious, piping-hot broth. You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients instead of just heavy seasoning. I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night. The rice was the PERFECT texture, in a not-too-sweet sauce, topped with toasted coconut, and the juiciest, sweetest mango. What a treat.

I ordered their tom kha soup as an appetizer. The broth was good, but the vegetables in it were not cooked at all. It felt like eating a crunchy salad in your soup. Only a minute after ordering the soup we were asked to go ahead and order our main dishes. My pad thai was good, but there was nothing particularly special about it. I had just started eating my food when the server asked us if we wanted to-go boxes and how we were splitting the check. I looked at my phone, and it had only been 30 minutes since we had sat down that we were handed the check. I would have tried their dessert if I hadn't felt rushed out the door. Also, the restaurant wasn't busy/didn't have a wait on tables, so I'm not sure why they rushed us out.
