We had a cart full of grocery and try to figure out where to palce it so it won't get in the way of diner and servers. We decided to move to the end of the restaurant to get out of the way. Then one of the server yelled in angry tone asking us not to bring it in and I explained I am getting it out of the way then she yelled again saying not to go thru. Okay, I understand it's my fault to bring it in in the first place but there is right way and wrong way to communicate that to a customer. She picked the "wrong" way. Yelling in angry voice is the wrong way!! Well, based on the first interaction with the server we didn't think it was a place for us. So, we left. Be nice to your potential customers!! The absolute worst service I've ever received at a Korean restaurant. The waitress who I assume was also the owner took our order, the kalbi/seafood tofu soup combo. She gave us our tea and then a little later dropped off our side dishes. I asked if we could have chopsticks and she pulled out the drawer from our table without saying a word to us, however I didn't think anything about it since I do not speak Korean and there may have been a language barrier. We received our seafood tofu soup and finished it. My daughter then asked about the kalbi and the waitress said that we just ordered the soup. My daughter had initially ordered saying "28" and the waitress verified a couple times before moving on. That wasn't the worst of it. I got up to take a look at the produce in the market while my daughter waited for our kalbi, approximately 25 minutes after we completed our soup. I came back to the table and there was still no kalbi to be had. This experience was so severe that the other customers started to look around for the waitress for us, looking at us and then looking back at the kitchen. It became a rather tense and lengthy meal. She later came with our meat, which was a mere four pieces of kalbi, small ones at that. I paid my bill with her and she offered no apologies for our poor experience. read more
