Extremely disappointing experience at Let's Gogi. Our party of 7 ended up leaving before even eating because of how poorly the situation was handled. Right away, we were informed there would be an automatic gratuity charge added for the group. While that already left a bad impression, the situation became much worse when we tried to explain that our special needs family member would only eat fries instead of the full AYCE option. We were completely willing to pay separately for fries or any additional charge, but the younger gentleman who claimed to be the manager dismissively told us, "...Well we need to charge full price. Either she eats or she doesn't," with absolutely no compassion or willingness to accommodate her situation. His attitude throughout the interaction appeared disgruntled and uninterested in helping us find any reasonable solution. Instead of showing understanding toward a family with a special needs child, the interaction felt cold, rigid, and transactional. Between the automatic gratuity, the lack of empathy, and the dismissive customer service, our entire party chose to leave without dining. We understand restaurants have policies, but customer service and basic human decency should still matter. Unfortunately, this experience ensured we will not be returning. read more

Visited with a party of 3. When we sat down, there were only 2 plates at the table. We were told the third would be brought over, but it took an unreasonably long time and multiple reminders before it finally arrived. We ordered through the QR code system, but items kept getting missed, and it was very difficult to flag down anyone for help since they appeared to be severely understaffed. The restaurant itself was uncomfortably hot, and our grill was only changed twice during the entire meal. The food was decent, nothing wrong with it, but the overall experience was dragged down by the service. We had to repeatedly follow up on basic things, and even our check came out incorrect, requiring us to ask for a correction. Also worth noting, the lock on the women's restroom doesn't work properly. I ended up not using it out of concern that someone could walk in. Honestly, pretty good for the price! Would go again. I went to celebrate my friends bday. They have a 90 min limit, and everything is ordered through a website on your phone. Theres some meat, sides, and dipping sauces you can grab on your own. I usually don't like marinated meats at kbbq, but the ones here were really good! I enjoyed the hawaiian beef belly, but my friend thought it was a bit too sweet. And the one my whole table kept ordering was the beef tongue! its not too chewy but really nice and tender. We got seated at probably the worst location in the whole restaurant, in the corner next to the exit door and the trash cans. Every time someone opened the door, a huge gust of wind would come and make all our napkins and hair fly. It also felt dirty because we were next to the trash cans. The waiters were also loud and chatting amongst themselves there while waiting for things to do. Really ruined the experience for me. We also had to wait about an hour to be seated. We were sat quickly after a small hiccup from the weirdly shaped parking lot (decently sized spots, but many sloped for people uncomfortable with door dings, and many are business specific spots). Restaurant remained unsmokey inside as it filled up with lunch guests. They have two options $19.99 for the base menu and $29.99 for a premium menu which notably included Galbi. We stuck with the $19.99 one. Various kimchi and marinated meats were self-serve towards the rest of the restaurant. The marinated steak bites and bulgogi we got from this section was slightly off and a weird texture. The brisket and (beef?) belly we ordered tasted more normal and was very average. I stumbled upon Let's Gogi after I came across multiple reels from their Instagram showing the delicious food at a reasonable lower price. And because of the high reviews here on Yelp and positive experiences coming from other people, I decided to visit on a Saturday around 6PM. Arriving at the restaurant, there were a few parties waiting outside. And because the restaurant utilizes the Yelp waitlist system, you can add your name to the list within 5 miles of the restaurant. With only a few parties ahead, I waited for maybe 5-10 minutes and was finally seated inside. The standard dinner price for this K BBQ spot has dropped recently from $31.99 to a listed price at $27.99. And comparing to other restaurants in the area, the price is actually considerably low. Gone are the days of a sub $30 korean barbecue, especially considering the night time dinner prices. And with a large variety of choices, there is a high value proposition. For the $28, you can order items like thin meats (beef brisket, beef belly), cheese dips, grilled vegetables, appetizers (gyozas, jap chae), soups (miso, tofu soup), and much more from their online QR code. But as for the bonchon and regular meats, most of your favorites will be at a small buffet that you can return to as frequently as you'd like. No matter which way you look at the price, the $28 price tag had a pretty high price to portion ratio. The best part about the restaurant is that the food quality was pretty on par with some of the best restaurants in the area. I'm personally a big pork belly kind of guy and I enjoyed the four different kinds of pork belly they have available. But of the other items, I found the prime cut steak and beef belly to be my favorites. I really enjoyed the juiciness from the steak and the fattiness from the beef belly which made the experience go from good to great. It's a great thing that there are some cheap korean barbecue spots still available in the Rowland Heights area. And with the amount of food you're getting at Let's Gogi, there is no question why this is a 5 star spot. While many places are constantly increasing their prices to maintain their level of operations, Let's Gogi actually decreased their prices coming into 2026. The service here was VERY efficient, so much so that they are very prompt with serving you and cutting you off at exactly 90 minutes. And with the ability to grab your own meats at the buffet area, I never felt that the staff were intentionally slowing service. If you're looking for some cheap, delicious korean barbecue, I'd be happy to recommend to Let's Gogi as one of the best in the nearby area. read more

Love the cold dish station and the sauce bar, the meat station has lots of options, but I must have missed the labeling, so we were not sure what type of cut we were grilling. Friendly and fast service, we did not have to wait for the online ordering system; the staff brought out the items within 5 minutes. They gave out generous portion of meat, but if you are thinking about veggies and pineapples' keep in mind, they come in 2 pieces per order. Parking lot is small as is the restaurant compared to other places around the area. So there tends to be waits for this place. I liked the marinated meats you order via QR code. The service staff was solid. We got there when it opened and so the only downside was there wasn't any rice paper yet and the meat we ordered took a little bit. The appetizers came out quick. The meats that you can get yourself was okay. It's why it's a 4 star. The meat you order from the kitchen was much better. Can't beat the price point for lunch. Blew my mind! From the time we checked in, we were able to be seated fairly quickly following 3 other groups on the waitlist. Best option, by the way, to join the waitlist on Yelp and sit in your cozy car in front of the restaurant. They have 3 spots designated for the restaurant itself. The food was plenty! They had a self serve meat station, sauce, and sides station. All were refilled really well. Felt fresh and clean. My ick with everything was just the sticky handles sometimes when going for the meat station. Felt like people didn't know to stick with the same tongs designated to each meat option. It was divided by chicken, pork belly, and beef options. My only issue was the server who took our beer order and asked about cups, didn't actually show up with it. We made sure we didn't get charged by accident but still we were confused because my tofu soup also didnt show up. It happens. Girlzz night out at RH BBQ 2 (not to be confused w RH BBQ 1 since they say they're not related) off Colima Rd. I'd been raving about how much better the food is in LA, so we all met up here. The plaza is small and parking is limited, but if you get here early enough, you'll find a spot. The interior feels small but has a lot of tables available. Lighting is a bit dark, and floors are somewhat slippery (be careful). There are 2 menus to choose from: Regular: $29.99 Premium: $36.99 We opted for the premium to taste the better cuts of meats and these girls like their filet mignon, which the premium menu includes. There is a self serve dipping sauce and meat cart (I like this concept a lot) where you can grab bulgogi, pork belly, marinated chicken, and other cuts of protein yourself. You are given a tablet to order from (another cool feature) any time you want to order kitchen items. All of the protein cuts that we ordered were well marinated and delicious. My faves were the short rib and bulgogi. The banchans are also delicious!! Overall, a really good and affordable Kbbq option in Rowland Heights, highly recommend!! Kinda gets smokey inside and the floor is definitely slippery hence the no high heels signs. They made the plates smaller for a party of 2 which I was happy about so we got to try more meats and not get full off one round. It's been a year or two since I was last here. It's still one of the best value places to eat at in terms of Korean BBQ. It's definitely cheaper compared to most places in the area. We came here for dinner and got the premium. It's definitely worth it. The quality of meat is pretty good for the price. They were all delicious. We couldn't stop ordering the tongue and the LA Galbi. The side dishes were great too and we appreciate the convenience of ordering straight from the tablet. In terms of the service, it's stellar. Everyone was welcoming and they were all very attentive. You're getting top quality service. Now, don't expect this place to look extravagant. It's just your typical hole in the wall restaurant. Came in for the lunch special but not sure if we were charged regular price? It was still kinda expensive in the end for what we got. There's not a wide variety of meats you can choose from with the lowest tier. I think I'd rather pay a couple dollars more to go to a different AYCE BBQ for more variety. The service was pretty bad too. We would order things in the iPad and when it comes, the server didn't tell us which meat was what. We just cook and eat it all anyways but idk a little communication would be nice? It wasn't a one time thing either. We asked for extra napkins as well and the server left it there and didn't say anything. We didn't even notice they gave it to us. It was just me and my partner and we noticed the servers didn't speak a word to us. We would say thank you for some of the stuff they give us and they just look at us and leave. It is not the best Korean bbq restaurant that I went to but, I was still somewhat satisfied with the experience. I would have given 3 stars rather than 4 stars. 4 stars would do! I did come and dine alone for the lunch special at $19.99, and I was really afraid if they would refuse service to me because of that. However, I've got great news for whoever that wants to do the same! They do accept solo diners during lunch time. But, I'm not too sure for dinner time. Most of the staffs are very young, and they were very sweet and attentive. I appreciate their help throughout my experience at Let's Gogi Rowland Heights. I kept telling them that I always wanted half-orders on my meat, and they were nice enough to tell the kitchen staff to only give me a small amount of meat. So, I would not get too full quickly while aiming for an all-you-can-eat experience. I was slightly satisfied with the meat selection and quality. Not only the meats but, they had other great choices, such as cheese fries, mashed potatoes, cheese sauce, spicy tofu soup, etc. This was actually a great deal for $19.99 and I could not complain much. The only things that I slightly disliked were the macaroni salad and miso soup (despite that I love eating them in general) because the dressing of the macaroni salad tasted kind of cheesy, and the miso soup was super strong which tasted like I was drinking a toxic chemical with each sip. Our family loves KBBQ. I personally tried over 20 in the past year, probably do 1 every other week -- unfortunately Lets Gogi fails slightly behind other KBBQ spots. Positives: +Love the sweet potato tempura. +Angus Beef brisket was really good. +Friendly female servers (Briana was very nice!). Very attentive. Negatives: -I'm very particular with the steamed egg. This tasted like they poured a bottle of sesame oil all over it. I mixed it with rice, dark sauce and cheese so the taste can improve. But just so disappointing that we have to pay an extra $3-4 each for this (we ordered multiple times) and it lags compared to other steam eggs from other KBBQs (which are part of their unlimited menu)! -A lot from the self-serve meat bar were missing like the prime cut steak, sausages. My family opted just for the lunch option thinking everything was available. They should let diners know what's available or not. -Macaroni salad was bland.The Japchae we didn't even finish as it was too bland, cold and tasted very old to be honest. -The meats were so minimal when ordered -- like 5 or 6 pcs of the brisket to start. Great place for AYCE Kbbq at an affordable price! Came here for dinner and chose the Regular Menu option for $29.99 per person which had a plentiful amount of items to choose from. You order the items (e.g. banchan, meat, appetizers, etc) you want on an iPad and they bring the items to you within minutes. Very efficient ordering system, and it seems to be the new method of ordering for a lot of AYCE Kbbq restaurants nowadays. Our server was also super friendly and came by to check in on us often. The meats here are pretty good quality and fresh. They also have a self-serve bar for getting your own meats and sauces which is convenient for when you're waiting for your order to arrive. Although, I found that the self-serve bar wasn't really necessary since the service here was fast anyways. The steak from the self-serve bar was a bit tough though, but it wasn't bad. Overall, this is a great spot to hang out for dinner with friends. A lot of the customers here are groups of young people. One of my favorite parts of dining here is their music. They played old 2000s RnB/hip hop music in the background. Felt like I was back in the early 2000s! I wish I got their playlist! After a day at Raging Waters and building up a big appetite my group of 4 headed to RHBBQ 2, a spot chosen after a quick yelp search of AYCE places. RH BBQ 2 shines being one of the most efficient KBBQ spots I've been to. You order your meats and appetizers like spicy tofu soup and gyoza through a QR code, and the servers bring it right over. This makes it so much easier to keep the food coming without having to flag anyone down. I also liked that they give you big bottles of sauce at the table so you never run out. They've got a salad bar that's well stocked with different cuts of meat, marinated options, and all the classic sides like kimchi, fish cakes, and cucumbers. The meat quality was great, everything we tried was delicious, and again the service was probably the fastest I've ever experienced at a KBBQ place when it came to ordering more. The space itself has plenty of room for different sized groups. The vibe feels like your standard KBBQ spot -- nothing flashy, but that's not a bad thing at all. I have been coming to RH before Covid. The previous owner was nice and the service was good but this new ownership has successfully inherited that and even better. I feel like they have increased the amount of employees so that they can serve us quicker and all of them are so attentive. They are friendly. The food items had changed. There are new items that I like but there's also items that I miss. I like how main sauces are now on the table. I used to ask for sesame oil and salt but I don't have to. This time my favorite was spicy beef bulgogi. One thing I want to point out is that the floors are slippery. New owner, new name, new greedy charges that don't make sense and food quality went down. I'm going back to GuiGui. WE WON'T BE COMING BACK. Service was great, but the prime meats were pretty forgettable. The filet had a mushy texture, and the ribeye and sirloin were tough to chew. The sliced meats were solid, though. I'd recommend starting with a fattier cut like pork while the grill heats up. We came for a late lunch around 4pm and were surprised by how busy it already was--by the time we left, it was packed.
