I ate here with one other person and we got the seafood boil from the menu (not the buffet). It was HUGE. We shared and still ended up having leftovers so it's definitely enough for 3. It was pretty good, I just wish there were more sauce options like cajun, lemon pepper, etc. There was really just cocktail sauce, oyster sauce, and ketchup. It was fairly warm in the restaurant so it made it a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. Our server, Clover, was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly, quick, and checked on us. It is on the expensive side if you're going to eat from the buffet so definitely come expecting to pay the price of endless seafood. From what I saw, there was a nice selection. The only complaints I have is stuff in our drinks and undercooked shrimp. We had something floating in our water (a few particles, couldn't tell what they were) when we first got there, which a little off putting. However, Clover had no issues swapping it out and ensuring the next one didn't have anything in it. There were some pieces of shrimp in the boil that were way overcooked to the point they were mushy. I would say it's worth a try.

The atmosphere was nice, peaceful, and relaxing from the moment we walked in. Our server, Dima, was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The food was delicious and well-seasoned, especially the crab legs, shrimp, mussels, asparagus, buffalo wings, and catfish. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also amazing! I had the strawberry daiquiri and piña colada, and both were perfectly made and very refreshing. Definitely a spot I would visit again!

I haven't been back to Myrtle Beach since I was in elementary school and this is the first restaurant we went to after check in... quite disappointed since I read a lot of reviews. We went there for lunch and didn't wait long after arriving. Slow service, took over ten minutes before our server arrived. Domestic beer is at least $7 a bottle... The bathroom was slippery, dirty and no soap. The food there was a hit or miss. Some really good, some really bad. I liked the grilled shrimp, their crawfish... very small and not fresh. The server was on the rude side, too.

This place was NOT good at all. I usually hit up another calabash but I listened to tiktok and I am beyond disappointed. The food was gross even the butter was burned. Nothing appealed me on the menu at all. It's pure ghetto! Someone was arguing and the cops got called. My waiter forgot I was there in the mist of everything. He asked what could he do and I said give me my food half off and they couldn't! He offered me $5! What a joke. They don't take tap so keep that in mind. I am pointing this out because a young lady came and asked me to pay for her food and she would reimburse me. It was NOT worth it imo. The fried shrimp was okay, but that was it. The crawfish had the worst taste and butter was burned. All of the sauces for the crabs legs were nasty. I truly can't believe people think this place is good! 0 stars for me! For $83 I wouldn't return! The drink I ordered was $20. I sat for 10 minutes before being offered a drink. When I did order the waiter forgot I was there. This place is way toooo overhyped on tiktok! The crawfish had this awful taste. I had to spit it out. Do not pass go and hit up Captain George's instead! That is my usual go to spot! I don't recall the ambiance as it was just way too much disruption for me to even care.

Service was ok but since it's a buffet, they really didn't do much other than bring drinks. The buffet was well stocked with mediocre quality seafood. Overall it was a decent experience for the price of the meal.

My wife wanted to try these all-you-can eat seafood buffet, as there were many in the area. It's a bit messy eating with shell fish, crack the the legs or claws. They give you a bucket for trash. Lots of fried seafood, and ribs and chicken and beef. I found the ribs, fried fish and baked salmon dry, overcooked, not all the buffet tray were filled full, more like 1/4 filled so it looked sparse. I didn't think it was worth the price at $49 pp, but perhaps the going price. There was a 3.x% surcharge if you pay by credit card, $4 bucks off if you pay cash.

Wow, bloody wow... Just visited this spectacular place in Myrtle Beach. What a treat & experience. The buffet was incredible. Such a huge variety. The snow crab legs, crawfish and fried shrimp were my favourite but they also have lots more to choose from. We were treated like family from the time we walked in to the time we left. Our server Seth was awesome (apart from being a Real Madrid fan, lol . The service was top notch. 3 Thumbs Up & 5 Stars from the wife and I. Highly recommend.

Service was great. For a buffet it was really good. Grilled tuna and raw oysters. 32.99 is not bad for all you can eat. I'll be back.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

The crab legs were delicious, two clumps with butter and lemons. We also had the shrimp and fries- 8 large shrimp lightly breaded with shoestring fries. Our land lover enjoyed the Reel burger- a juicy combination of chuck and brisket cooked to order. The bun was toasted and held up well to the burger. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. They had a few different bars that you could order at, with the main one being inside, another little hut outside, and a cash bar next to that. They also had a pretty cool live band, with a viewing patio right in front of the stage. In regards to my visit to Hot Fish, I'd say I was most impressed with the bartenders at the establishment, who did a great job under pressure. Even though the place was packed, and especially the bar area, they did a great job of remaining calm, and even got our drinks out in a relatively quick period of time. They also made some awesome blue Gatorade shots, which were some of the best shots I've ever had! I didn't necessarily love that there were cops standing guard at the entrance, but the bar's own security staff and bouncers were really nice, which isn't something you see at every one of these places. The only downsides to the Hot Fish Club were that many of the plastic chairs in the outside area were broken and cracked, making it kind of hard to sit a large-sized group like ours (they had a lot of wooden tables, but they were all taken), and that the restroom situation was awful. According to the girls in our group, the actual, physical restrooms were disgusting, forcing them to use the giant line of porta potties. This isn't a huge deal for guys, but it was a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Other than that, Hot Fish was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by!
