Extremely Unpleasant Experience Due to Manager's Behavior - Wayne Lawes at Hooters Boca Raton I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the deplorable conduct of the manager, Wayne Lawes, during my recent visit to Hooters located off Glades and I-95 in Boca Raton. Despite attempting to ignore him, he continued to berate us, creating an uncomfortable and hostile environment. At one point, it even felt as though he might resort to physical aggression. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for someone in a managerial position. Furthermore, it was disheartening to learn that this is not an isolated incident. Even the waitstaff mentioned that Mr. Lawes has a consistent pattern of screaming at customers. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on the reputation of Hooters as a whole. I strongly urge the management of Hooters to take immediate and decisive action in addressing this matter. Mr. Wayne Lawes is clearly not suited for a position that involves direct interaction with customers. Whether through comprehensive training, reassignment to a non-customer-facing role, or termination, steps must be taken to rectify this situation and ensure that other patrons do not have to endure such a distressing experience. So I would like to consider my self a regular to this hooters location near town center mall. Honestly if the only reason why I'm giving it 1 star is because of the service. Kourtney was awesome, punctual, attentive, and understanding. This is more a review for management. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The manager tonight, I'm pretty sure his name is Chris (like I said being a regular you pick up names) wasn't the most hospitable. Spending years in the restaurant industry you learn to notice bad customer service habits. For starters , hooters is a known sports bar, and being nba playoffs, Stanley cup playoffs , why is chris walking around at 1130 shutting off the tvs on the patio. I know the kitchen closes at midnight but you still have about 10 guests out on the patio enjoying the game recaps. Made me and my friends feel unwelcomed. Second, while our waitress Kourtney was checking on us he shouts from the bar at 11:45 pm (mind you the kitchen closes at midnight) "kourtney let's settle them out and get them out of here !" Not trying to be shy about it all. Luckily he wasn't talking about us but a guest who reserved their private room. Minutes later they're all walking out, meaning kourtney had to force her guests out because that's what she was directed to do by management. Lastly, 11:50 pm after we paid our tab I went to try and use the restroom but all the doors to get inside were locked . Locked, 10 min before closing , Chris the manager happened to be standing there and I ask "are you guys closed or can I use the restroom?" No response he just turns and points to an opening behind the bar to get inside. All in all , Better management should be put into consideration. But chris, well to put it nicely, You suck and should consider another career that's not in customer service . read more

worst hooters on the planet went to the boca hooters for lunch. the restaurant was completely empty with only 2 other guests. ordered the chicken wings extra wet. the wings came out with almost no sauce on them, so sent them back to be tossed in extra sauce. they throw a gallon of cold hot sauce on top of the wings. then the manager came out and started screaming at us. all the employees and the 2 other guests were staring at him. wings is supposed to be their main dish, however is the second visit in a row that this hooters could not get a order of wings correctly. worst hooters on the planet. read more

Disgusted... Ordered a Buffalo Chicken sandwich and had to pay extra for french fries... really? Is Hooters doing so bad they need to charge for fries with a sandwich? Or is it me? Does everyone like cole slaw with their meal? Because that's what you get. The mini tub of blue cheese wasn't sufficient so I asked for another... guess what? Yep, had to pay for it... My daughter had a hair cooked into her wings.. My boys each had an appetizer and somehow our bill came to approximately $70! Not worth the price and will never eat there again..... read more

Asst. Mgr banned me from here after being a regular for 10 months... actually threatened me with a pair of side-pliers, told me I'm no longer welcome here. All over me raising a non-threatful complaint over management deliberately skipping my paid TouchTunes songs... that they have already "filtered". Otherwise, the greatest Hooters Girls you could ask for. I recently visited Hooters and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Despite the restaurant being only about 60% full, I waited over 58 minutes for a simple order of shrimp that I was initially told would take just 15 minutes. To make matters worse, I noticed several workers in the back casually eating while I and presumably other customers were left waiting. The lack of urgency and professionalism was evident. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I definitely won't be returning. read more

Let me start by saying, NOBODY goes to Hooters b/c they have great food. That is a given. But when you go there and the girl behind the bar provides absolute crappy service and can't even muster a smile, why go there at all? This is the worst place ever. Any person of color should not come eat here. waiter had an attitude all evening and when I asked to speak to the manager they completely pushed it aside as if it were no big deal. I'm pretty sure i saw my waiter drop something off my plate and put it back on the plate with her hands as if it never fell. Hooters is one of my favorite fun-time restaurants. I've had my birthday at a hooters, I've taken dates to hooters, and I've visited international locations and locations around the country. The food is usually consistent but not the service or friendliness. The worst Hooters I've been to was Manhattan, NY. This was the second worst, not bad... but in comparison to others, not good. read more

AWFUL NOW!!! Used to get here with work buddies on Thursday nights & Sundays for football... No longer! Staff is blah, unattractive and always seems like you are inconveniencing them. This place is beyond racist. The managers are horrible people and I have heard them say rude things as customers walk in. I have been in there 3 times and each time Wayne the tall black manager has said something negative or came at me in a weird way. Well this is a pretty awesome place! Been to many Hooters in Atlanta, but this one - takes the cake!! Many, many TV's, and we came for Friday live music - never saw that at a Hooters before! Game night is the worst night to go there!! The wait was over an hour, there is only one table that seats 10 and they refused to join tables together!! The girls do not smile!!! and the food is mediocre at best. I was quite disappointed because i love hooters. SUNRISE IS STILL THE BEST LOCATION. read more
