My wife and I won a 'dinner for 2' during a promo they were running over the holidays. When we came to redeem it, we found out it was actually only $30 off our bill. Even the manager was understandably annoyed that they call $30 off a 'dinner for 2' when most entrees on the menu are around $30. He said they haven't changed the amount in 20 years..... umm inflation!!! Look, this is all about setting expectations. Had we been told you won a $30 rebate off our next check, we would have been happy but that is vastly different than telling someone they won dinner for 2 where the average bill is around $80 and then telling them you're only getting $30 taken off the bill. You may want to update some of those marketing campaigns as they are not having the type of impact you are hoping for.

I tried the renegade sirloin with red rock shrimps and upgraded my steak to 8oz. For sides I got their mac and cheese and it was really good. The steak, however, this was not the first time they messed up the temperature. My steak was cooked to well done when I asked for medium. The server asked all of us what our desired temperature was, why ask, if you are going to serve well done steak anyway? They took a long time to bring out the entrees and our break time was running out, so I didn't bring this to the server's attention. Mac and cheese and the spinach dip really was 5/5 stars until the steak came. The server was nice and friendly. There were two servers that checked in on us frequently and they were attentive but not overbearing. Maybe we will give this place another shot in the future or maybe not.

There was not the biggest portion of brisket within and i felt that it was more mac and cheese than brisket. It was also topped with a sweet golden bbq sauce which in my opinion would have been better if it was not as sweet and a bit more tangy. Unfortunately, the manager tonight appeared to be in a poor mood and treated the guests and myself in a bit of a rude manner. Overall, I would return. The food was filling and overall well-portioned. The tables also had napkin holders with no napkins, which added to the sense that dine‑in guests aren't really considered. On the positive side, the food was hot and very tasty -- that's what earns this place three stars. But overall, the experience makes me doubt they'll be around for long unless the service improves.

I also think this whole ordeal took much longer than it had to (30 minutes for us to get our check and have this discussion) and it could have been handled better.
