My husband and I visited this Hooters in Countryside last night for the first time per my request! He wanted to go to the sports bar down the street for their wings. But I still stuck to Hooters. We arrive and as expected there's a crowd waiting to be seated. I check in with the Hostess and tells me about 40min wait. Okay fine. We are standing patiently waiting when I notice other people who arrived after us are being seated. So I ask the Hostess how many more parties ahead of us? She tells me "Oh I already called your name." Are you fuck!ng kidding me?! We were standing there they eintire time even made eye contact with her a few times! Come to think of it I didn't even hear any names being shouted she was just going up to people and seating them. BOY was that sports bar down the street looking really good but we already had invested so much time standing there like idiots that I still decided to stay. The hostess is a liar I know for a fact she didn't call our name and also lied to the people who were also waiting with 4 little children telling them their table was being wiped down & it would be 2 min. We sat down ordered our food and 20 min into our meal the guests that were told 2 min sat down 22 min later. I was so angry & to top it off our server tasha only made it worse. Our order came out fine. But when we are sitting there waiting for the check with dirty plates on our table for 10 min that's not cool. I'm very understanding of busy servers running around serving their guests but when you're standing there talking to the men sitting at the bar while you have full tables that's so unacceptable. I'm not one to make a scene and complain to managers I just take the experience for what it was good or bad and decide if I'll ever return to the place. The answer for hooters is NO! read more

I actually do like Hooters but hate to say that I was disappointed with my first visit to the Hooters of Countryside. I placed an order for pick up. While taking my order the lady was charging someone else at the same time so I had to repeat it a few times. Not a huge deal but definitely more polite to put me on hold until she was ready to take my order. My order was ready when I got there which was great. I was assured that my order was checked two times when I asked if the celery was there. So, I took her word. Got home and there was no ranch. Which I had ordered extra ranch. It has finally opened after being under construction what seems to be forever. I wasn't counting down the days, but some of my co-workers have been, and it was great that it finally opened so we could go, It's a busy spot, with all the factories and warehouses around. The opening week, we went there and it was really busy at noon. Took 20 mins to get a table, which was great. When walking in, you can see, that its not that big inside. Lots of TVs though. All my co-workers had the wings, burgers, chicken sandwhich, and some Philly cheese sandwhich. The food was nice and hot and was good. Service was great, but I know they probably brought in some veteran girls to make the whole operation smooth. Will visit again at another lunch time and see if they keep everything up! read more

Aside from the fact that it is quite small, the place was booming with customers! The waiting area was way too small for everyone who was waiting to be sat but it honestly didn't bother me. Our wait was estimated at 25-30 minutes and we were sat quicker than that. our food and drinks were prompt and delicious. Our server was so very nice! I got the Baja Burger but I wasn't really a fan of it, she offered to take it off our bill but I refused because I was the one who ordered it. But when we got our bill she had taken it off anyways, it was such a nice thing to do. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been a fan of Hooters since I stepped foot in one down in Georgia 20 years ago. I love their wings and I crave their Buffalo shrimp. I was so excited to see a new Hooters opening up near my work so we could stop after a long day and have some wings and beers. This Hooters was built from the ground up so I was excited to see what a brand new Hooters would look like. The construction took about six months longer than the "coming in spring" sign suggested. No biggie, I can wait. Met some co-workers there for a little holiday treat. I walked in and was completely disappointed. The crowd at the door and in the entrance way were not happy about the over hour wait. My guys got their early and got us a table. The place is small, very small. Wide open like a cafeteria so you can see how small it is. The bar was uninviting also. The color on the walls was not at all appealing. I was hoping for so much more. This is a busy area this place could have been twice as big and still packed em in. Poor planning Hooters! I gave it three stars because they do have some yummy craft beers on tap, the food was pretty darn good and the temperary waitress was awesome! As far as atmosphere I'd be at two stars. I was in la grange this afternoon Sunday by myself and decided to stop by HOOTERS in Countryside to have lunch and watch the bears/packers game which surprisingly wasn't crowded. I ordered the fish tacos that my girlfriend always orders when we come together and again they didn't disappoint. Besides the wings and shrimp from hooters the fish tacos are always on point. Being that you only get 2 tacos per order and I was having lunch by myself I also ordered the chicken strips which were ok, I felt they were too greasy. The reason I gave this location 5 stars is because of my server JESS, she was soo courteous and attentive. The food is just like at any other hooters location but the friendly service I received with JESS would make me come back again. read more

I've gotta say, I hadn't been to a Hooters in about 10 years because frankly, I didn't much care for their wings A friend of mine recently mentioned how great their buffalo shrimp are and I was unable to rid my head of that thought. So I went tonight with a couple friends and I have to say I was really impressed. -Buffalo shrimp were fantastic -Steamed clams and raw oysters were really, really great....and cheap -Boneless wings were quite tasty as well -Nice craft beer options Now, the service was (expectedly) below average. It's a Hooters, so anyone that expects a truly professional server will not be rewarded. The server would not check up on us we had to bother other served for us to get a refill. Asked for the manager and all the manager said was " ok well I'm sorry". I won't be ordering pick up no more. I called in an order .. chicken tortilla soup, salad, 10 wings, and fries. Received my soup in a double styrofoam cup not even half way filled. Very disappointing. I do not recommend ordering carry out - you are not getting your money worth for the food your getting as oppose to eating it. I have ordered from the Hooters before through Uber Eats and the food was decent. Last night I ordered 10 wings and a Cesar salad requesting chicken in the salad and the wings to be well done. Not only did they leave out the chicken out of the salad but, the wings were soggy and over dressed! The food is too expensive to give poor quality. Hooters just recently arrived in my neighbor of Countryside and I decided to give them a try. After waiting approximately 20 minutes for my order which was suppose to be a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella cheese. They completely sabotage my order and appetite with an uncooked chicken patty and some wilted lettuce with no condiments. Called and complained and was told they were closed and I would be credited back my order but it would take 3 - 4 days to see a refund on my card. My stomach is turning from this as I speak. First off, the food here has always been good. Just venting about a recent experience so it can be improved upon. What makes chain restaurants "good" is the location's service in comparison with the others. We were seated and the waitress walked away. We were ready to order before we walked into the restaurant, so I understand we were ready sooner than most customers. But after exactly nine minutes without any help or water or really even a look, we had to walk out and eat elsewhere. But never has it been deadly as this time. For starters, our service was HORRIBLE. I am a server myself, and I definitely know how to provide proper hospitality service. Our waiter was Marissa. To begin, it took her a little over 10 minutes to ask us for our beverages and deliver them. AND WE ONLY HAD WATER. Then, I asked her how the skinless wings were and she said to me, "Honestly, I don't know. I'm vegetarian." OKAY! She couldn't even suggest anything else or say what she had heard about them? Definitely not hospitality behavior. After our food arrived, our glasses were empty and we had to ask her to refill even though it was just water, and then she asked "what were you drinking again?" WATER! As a waitress, you should always remember to keep your guests on top despite the amount of tables you have!! Not to mention the half inch boneless sized wings we had. TERRIBLE for $50. And finally, we had to haunt her down to give us our bill, AND to pay her. It was definitely a HORRIBLE experience and I hope this girl improves her service. read more

Normally I have had good experiences here. My family and I get the hot wings a lot. We even come here with friends after our son's baseball games. Last December was the first time our experience wasn't good. My husband received a Gift card online. The instructions say you can use the gift card with your phone. I needed a reservation for 10 for my son and his friends. The online reservation couldn't do that, so I called. The woman who answered said to make 2 reservations for 5 and make a not that the reservations went together. When I went on there to do that, it only allowed me to make 1 for 7:00 and 1 for 7:15. I called again and the girl told me to take that and they would know that they go together at 7pm. She assured me that they would see the same name and know that the party should be at one table. Both reservations were confirmed by 12:32pm. Upon arrival at 7pm, my son and friends were told that there was a 30 minute wait. I called to speak with a manager to get that rectified. I spoke with the manager (on Monday 8/8 who was working in the kitchen). He said that they cannot guarantee a reservation for 10 to sit together because their tables only fit 6. I said that I was told by two different people when I called earlier that it would be no problem. He said they were wrong, and asked me if I wanted him to physically move people to accommodate my party. His excuse was that the restaurant was busy and he needed to be in the kitchen. I understand how being busy can make you stressed, but he was completely unprofessional and rude. Please train your workers better. read more

I went to eat on a Sunday and the total was 34.74 and the next day I seen that I got double charged and spoke with the managers and the man was nice and cooperative and said he gave me back the refund. Then I checked today and instead of a refund I got another 34.74 taken out again so in conclusion I got charged three times. I called back to see what they can do and instead of being nice I spoke with a female manager and got bad attitude from her. I never seen such an unprofessional place like this. Everytime I come here I get an okay server, nothing really spectacular but this time I got by far one of the best servers ive ever had, period. Her name was Vanessa, she was very nice, sweet, pretty, and attentive. She noticed that we were particularly quiet and a bit shy so she just kind of made small talk and got us to talk and become way social which I loved. It happened to be my birthday and I did the whole chicken dance thing which was pretty funny. Besides that she was on top of her stuff. She was quick on drink refills, greeting us, and bringing the food out. The food was delicious as usual.
