Service was great. Food, not so much. All of the flavors on the menu are no longer served. Wtf? Get new menus. No fresh jalapeños. I ordered a triple, got served a double with cold fries. My kids had to wait until they were done with their wings to get their fries. This was the best hooters in town last year but apparently they went corporate so they suck now. Please listen to the reviews. Service was good, the waitress was very sweet and none of the things that happened were at all her fault. We sat down and ordered and they came back that they didn't have sliders. Ok fine, but then almost an hour later of waiting they come and tell us they didn't have something that we ordered. Excuse me! We thought our food would have been ready by now. Now the whole table is eating and two members of our party are still waiting for their food. Ridiculous. And the food we were trying to eat was cold and flavorless. My wings were dry and cold. Terrible. I ate only 3 wings and that was hard to get through. I had the wings. I requested them to be extra crispy and they were done perfectly. I had the Texas BBQ. They were delicious. I went with a group of friends. There were ten of us and we had a lot of fun. But because there were so many of us the food did not come out the same time and it made eating together impossible. The server was very pleasant and kept apologizing for the delay and tried very hard to make our experience the best she could. I think some of the problems were because they were doing a photo shoot at the restaurant that day . This resulted in a lot of confusion. Overall everything worked out and we plan on returning again. Walked in with my husband and baby around 11:45 this afternoon (11/19). We waited at the host stand for a minute or two. A HG walked up and brought us to a booth, and I had to ask for a highchair? I have a baby? We can't just squeeze into a booth.. so she takes us to a HIGH top lol. I guess common sense isn't so common. We finally get settled into the low table. She disappears and never returns with a high chair. We sat for a while, with my baby sitting on the table. No one helped us. In the back you could see a bunch of HGs just sitting and talking to each other in a booth. Many HGs walked past us without even looking our way. I was a Hooters Girl for 8 years, I'm pretty fair and understanding, but this visit was pretty ridiculous. The stars mostly come from location. We sat outside overlooking the water and there was a nice breeze which made our lunch enjoyable. It took the waiter 15 mins to come check in and even ask us for our drink order after being seated. It was not even busy at all. I ordered the original wings with honey sriracha and they barely even had sauce on all of them. Some were dry and had to ask for extra sauce. Not sure why they are stingy with sauce. I would leave zero stars if possible. We walked in initially for the main event of the UFC fight. We got there in enough time to see the main event. First the hostess told us they weren't showing the fight. We accepted and walked out but as soon as we walked out you could see the fight on the tv through the windows. So we walked back in and pointed out the fights are currently on the screen. We ordered 2 drinks while watching the fights. The staff changed the channel on the screen and then the manager walked up and told us he wouldn't serve us because we smelled like alcohol. We hadn't had any drinks up to this point but had his rent a cop security guard come back his nerd ass up saying we smelled like alcohol while standing in the middle of a bar. Basically telling someone they smell like gas in a gas station. Most bizarre shit I've ever seen. They changed the channel on the TV and tried to tell us it was the prelims. Went today to celebrate my birthday. On entering, a lot of the waitresses were gathered around I guess was the manager. It was more like a lottery on who had to serve me. Like I had interrupted them. The waitress seated me at a table and disappeared for about 10 minutes, actually talking to the other waitress rolling silverware. This is the closest location to me, I like to drop by on mondays for the ayce wings and $1 beers from 12-2. I tend to sit at the bar as I'm usually solo. The bar tenders are terrible at conversation. Whenever I visit this location they never even realize what specials they have available so I have to remind them. The wait for the next plate of wings is incredible, as I sit here writing this I am waiting on my second plate and it has been nearly 30 minutes since I ordered. The staff here honestly just does not give a damn about their customers. As I was writing this sitting at the bar the manager apologized and said he was only charging me for the 10 piece instead of the ayce. The bar tenders still continued to do the bare minimum. After I got my last plate I told the bar tender i still wanted to have a few more drinks, yet as I finished my drink the entire waiting staff was a sitting in a corner booth chatting it up instead of checking on the few customers in the building. Very nice Hooters !!! They have this location laid out very nicely where you can get a great view no matter where you sit, of the televisions of course !!! They have a huge screen television in the bar area. They have patio seating overlooking the lake but I chose to sit inside. Service was great; however, they were out of Shiner Bock so I got a Ziegenbock instead which is equally good. I settled for some 911 shrimp which is generally always awesome and I also got some curly fries which I shouldn't have as they're blah and boring as always. All in all it was a great experience. ALRIGHTY! *fires up Breaking the Law" So some diligent "Yelper" brought my review of this horrific Hooters to the Yelp support teams "attention" as being outside the content guidelines. Not for bad language, not for being nasty or even really anything other than this: "We will try again, first trip the kitchen couldn't figure out how to feed us so we left. Yet to be back, but we will give it a whirl." Apparently I was not insulting enough, or provide enough acidity in my review. Read some of the others, I can be graphic, sometimes use profanity and be an "all-around" arse about my experiences. To be honest, I thought I was being *nice* by even admitting we would try it again. So, as I recall this trip with veracity, I will go into detail, in my typical Yelping way. We decided to take my nephew who was in town for some wings. It was a nice day out and while they can't cook an order of wings in less than an hour (we found out the hard way), the locale is really nice. It was warm out, so we decided to sit on the deck on Lake Ray Hubbard. We were seated promptly and placed our drink orders. Some of us are Hooters regulars / experts and knew what we wanted (wife and I for sure). Kids (my two and nephew) weren't sure but wanted appetizers. Waitress came, we ordered and our beverages were out promptly; we also place our dinner order. Nothing crazy, wings, buffalo shrimp, a cheeseburger (yeah I know right??) and a couple orders of fries. Me? I love what used to be called Bentley's, apparently that's been replaced with 911, so I get those all flats, with extra sauce on the side. Son and daughter go mild or medium and the wife gets her buffalo shrimps. Time passes... I ordered a large beer figuring to only have one but I'm darn near done. Kids and wife have already had at least two refills. Appetizer did come out a bit slow but it's long gone, you know, to the point you're picking crumbs out of the bottom? So we ask our server what the delay is and she says, "There a bit behind, it should only be 15 mins"... ok it's already been 15-20 mins and this is Hooters... we're hungry so we wait. I've decided to go for beer #2, because it's warm and I like it with my wings. We ask again, "I'm so sorry, it should just be another 15 mins". Now I'm a bit testy, this is silly... 45 mins for wings at Hooters?? The place wasn't even busy, I might understand if they were slammed and in the weeds. Not such was the case. Another 15-20 mins goes by and I'm almost done with beer #2. Kids are annoyed and bored, we're all getting hungrier and I stop the server again. Almost like a recording, "I'm so sorry, but just another 15-20 mins". I've now had it, my kids have had it and the wife is lets just go. I ask for the manager, this isn't a front of house issue... this is the kitchen in chaos. Friendly gal comes out and I ask for the check and express my complete frustration with the whole situation. She apologizes, I assure her I know it's not her (she was front of house manager) and that they need to get their kitchen in order. She gives me a card for $20 on our next visit... that was about a year or two ago... I *think* my wife still knows where it's at...
