Flying Saucer in Garland was the location of my brother's rehearsal dinner. It wasn't the originally planned location since the first venue canceled, but I'm glad we ended up here instead. My girlfriend and I arrived shortly after the party started, looked at their beer list, and were both overwhelmed and impressed by the literally hundreds of options, from draft to canned and bottled selections. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and wine options, which is great for my grandparents. I drank a La Fin du Monde, which is one of my favorite beers to ever exist, a Guinness, a NA Michelob, and a specialty blackberry cider drink that I was a huge fan of. I wish I remembered what they called it. We had a huge supply of food to choose from, including wings, tenders, quesadillas, and more. But what truly made the night was hanging around Lake Ray Hubbard and enjoying the breeze with our brews. The location truly makes the place what it is. This place is beer heaven. Everyone had a great time at the rehearsal dinner, and Flying Saucer's staff was super attentive the whole night. I was very impressed overall with the experience. There's a lot of dark wood. Dart boards for the competitive. And seating? I recommend a table near the windows with a view of Lake Ray Hubbard. Or, weather permitting, a table on the deck.
