Big bonus: the manager was kind enough to turn on the sound for the game we were there to watch, which made the experience even better. The service was genuinely friendly. Our server kept an eye on our table, refilled drinks, and checked in regularly without ever feeling pushy. The food was solid across the board. The hot wings had a nice kick, and we liked the buffalo shrimp so much we ordered another round. The fried pickles and onion rings with the remoulade paired perfectly with our beers, and the funnel fries with chocolate sauce were a fun way to end the meal. If you're looking for a sports bar with a fun, lighthearted flair where you can enjoy wings, shrimp, cold drinks, and catch a game, this place delivers. And if you come in with a normal level of maturity and treat the staff with respect, you'll have a great experience--they certainly treated us well. I hate leaving bad reviews because I've always enjoyed Hooters over the years, but this experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was that my chicken wings still had pin feathers and feather shafts sticking out of the skin. That's a quality control issue that should never make it to a customer's table. I sent my first plate back, but it honestly looked like the same plate was brought back with more oil or sauce poured over it. The pin feathers and feather shafts were still there, so nothing had actually been corrected. Even though the waitress tried to make it right the kitchen didn't put in any effort. My wife works in the restaurant industry and said the sauces should be kept at a certain temperature stored and she thinks they weren't because the sauces have separated so there's oil on the bottom and the wings looked colored but my son said the flavor didn't stick to it, it was oil an chunks of butter so I don't know what's up with that also. I couldn't get past the feather stocks attached and lack of preparation. I've eaten at Hooters for many years and have visited locations all over Southern California. Before COVID, I regularly went to the Riverside location until it closed. I was disappointed when I saw several other locations had also closed, including the one near Angel Stadium. When I found out the Ontario Mills location was still open, my family and I were excited to go. We even planned to order a large amount so we'd have leftovers to enjoy the next day. Unfortunately, the food was nothing like what I've consistently received from Hooters over the years. The wings didn't meet the standard I've always associated with the brand, and finding feathers still attached to the chicken made the meal unappetizing. When I brought it to the staff's attention, I expected a fresh replacement, not what appeared to be the same order returned to me. I don't blame the waitress because she really tried to make it right even saying it was something she wouldn't want either. I hope management takes this seriously. But if the manager was the girl in black she never left the bar where she was hanging out with a guy in conversation the whole time we where there but that's if she is even the manager because the manager never came over to talk to us. I've always been a loyal customer and would much rather leave a positive review than this one, but this experience was not acceptable and left me very disappointed. I haven't been to a Hooter's in well over a decade and am not sure what I expected, but the food was much worse than I remember. My chicken sliders were dense, under seasoned and had a distinctive hard bite to them. Curly fries had zero seasoning and were way undercooked. At least my beer was cold. Even at the $14 lunch special price, I was very underwhelmed. Honestly tasted like bad KFC. The waitresses were very nice, attentive and checked on me regularly, which was nice, but I remember the chicken being above average in the past and a bit of of a guilty pleasure. The boneless wings are not good. They are not actually wings but rather pieces of chicken breast coated with heavy batter. No flavor and kind of dry, definitely do not recommend. My only complaints are that the prices for 10 wings is $20! 2 beers and 10 wings plus tip you are at 40 bucks. Bang for buck? There are much better places.. Was it good though? Yes. I enjoyed it. The service was okay at best. I sat at the bar and was ignored most of the time. When the waitress would talk to me to take my order it felt forced. When I would ask for anything she'd take the receipt add whatever it was that I asked for and gave me an updated version. She did that 3 times instead of just waiting till I was done eating like a at most restaurants. Tbh being ignored seems to be just normal at most restaurants nowadays. Place was very clean, and lots of tvs to watch golf, baseball, and other random sports all at the same time. If you are expecting top shelf service and amazing food. Hooters isn't it. But if you want to not sit on the 10 freeway in traffic with 101° weather, it's not so bad. I'd comeback. I don't come here for the service. Mostly the views, and the beer. I've been to this Hooters four times, always as a group of girls, and the service has been consistently uneven. While the food comes out quickly, it often takes much longer to get drink refills, to go boxes, or the check. One visit we weren't acknowledged for about 15 minutes until a manager stepped in to help. On multiple occasions, servers seemed more attentive to older male customers, which made our table feel like an afterthought even when the restaurant wasn't busy. Came for Super Bowl LVII and was super impressed with the efficient and organization of one of the busiest days of their year. Sophia was our amazing waitress and I didn't see any issues while watching the game. Staff and patrons both had a wonderful experience! Half time was broadcast and everyone loved Rhianna's show! My family and I have come to this location several times in the last couple of months. It all started because we were really hungry and looking for a place to eat during peak dinner time with no wait...well there was Hooters. Considering I am NOT into chicken wings I was pleasantly surprised from the first visit! The quality and flavor of the chicken wings are delish (daytonas & medium buffalo)!! Curly fries with a side of cheese sauce ...yum. They have been consistently great! The restaurant is clean (the women's restroom can use some TLC) and the service is decent. Came here this evening around 4pm. Got seated right away. The woman that sat us was our waitress also. She looked like she was the only one serving a few tables that were there. Eventually as the hours past more waitress came as the restaurant filled up. Our waitress took long to get our drink order. The drinks came, then took long to take our order. Once we got our food, she never came back to check on us or get refills for our drinks as we were there for a few hours. The only time she came back was to do last call for Happy Hour. Came here recently for some drinks with a friend. We were in the area sorta bar hopping to be honest, and thought that Hooters would be a fun place to stop. For a Saturday night, it wasn't very crowded. There really wasn't many people there. We were surprised at how dead it was inside. Maybe this Hooters just isn't the business? Hardly anyone there and zero attractive guys at the bar lol Passssssss on that. We stayed for a bit and grabbed a couple drinks, used the restroom and then left. We went to another bar instead. Our drinks were fine. We didn't eat anything so I can't speak in that. The table we sat down at was sticky and not cleaned well. So overall a pretty so-so experience. This is strictly a review on service. We stopped in at 8 on a Sunday night. They weren't really busy and we were seated right away. Once we were sat our server was great. Prompt care and she was on top of things. After that it went downhill. I started looking around when it was taking over 45 minutes to receive our food - it sort of looked like our old server was on a break (or MIA) and another lazy server was taking over. This second server was absolutely terrible. She should be fired! She literally was drinking on the job, socializing and sitting down with what looked like her boyfriend. She obviously didn't give a F about us when we asked for several things including the dressing for a salad and forks for our table. She was being pulled in every direction by several new customers and still she sat and chatted with some guy. While our food sat at the window waiting to be served to us. My first time at Hooters in Ontario. I visited on a Saturday early afternoon. Dining and bar areas were clean, good overall air circulation. Plenty of televisions to watch games from any seating area. Tables and seats were clean. I was seated as soon as I walked in. My waitress came by right away to hand over the menu and asked my choice of beverage. I ordered a burger, fries and cocktail. Food was ready pretty quick. The beef patties were not good, seemed like they were microwaved instead of cooked on a grill. Possibly over cooked. I should have asked the waitress to not over cook the burger patties. At first I thought the burger patties were turkey or veggie. My waitress stopped by many times to check on me which was great. I ordered the Buffalo shrimp, I appreciate the efforts to serve a comforting meal; however, I did notice that the dish served tonight was more on the cooler side than usual. Additionally, the Buffalo Chicken Salad seemed to fall a bit short on freshness, with the lettuce and cucumbers showing signs of wilting. I must admit, I had hoped for a bit more in terms of the food's quality this time around. On a scale of 1 to 10 and because I ate the cold shrimp and my beer was good, I will give Hooters a 4 out of 10.
