    Chicken fried steak.

Stayed at inks lake state park over the weekend and this place is 4 miles from the entrance. Went at the end of the trip with a hearty appetite and thought this spot was a 10/10. Chicken fried steak was well battered and the perfect portion. Mashed potatoes had just a bit of skin left and a bit of chunk here and there and were perfect. Fried okra had great balance of fried batter to okra. Cream gravy on everything was amazing and even the roll was good. A sweet lady even gave me some complimentary pinto beans to eat while I was waiting. Was so happy with the meal that we bought a pie to go and 2 of their pot roast specials to take back home to the rest of my family. Besides the food greatness the price was affordable and the staff was great. The operation runs well and I'm looking forward to bringing my wife to it. It would be worth the pretty drive out there from Austin just for this spot, at least to me. It's a classic home cooked meal kind of place.

Stopped by while enjoying Park Road 4. Had the chicken fried steak lunch special with coleslaw and tea along with a bowl of chicken & sausage gumbo. The coleslaw was ok. The gumbo was hot and delicious! The chicken fried steak was fresh and hand battered, NOT something that came frozen in a box. I would have it again. The service was friendly. I must have had four employees say howdy, thank me for visiting, and ask how my food was. This is a nice cafe with good food and friendly people. Next time I head down to Marble Falls or Burnet, I'm likely to stop here again.

Haven't been in a while as they are a little of a drive. They are a little of an out of the way place (not hard to find, though), but I think worth the trip. A definite go to place for those nearby, and a great stop for those out for a drive in the Texas Hill Country. The food isn't exceptional. But the combination of consistently good small town diner cooking, atmosphere, and friendly staff (with reasonable prices) combine to make just a nice overall lunch experience. Do be sure and check their hours before making a trip. Today we are having their Pot Roast Special. Some items are better than others. Sweet Potato Fries were really good. I guess in general, expect good but not amazing food.

Terrible ... saw great reviews and looked forward to home style cafe fare !!! The chicken fried steak was not even edible. The batter was pre frozen as was the meat ! Gravy straight out of a packet. I asked if onion rings were battered in house and told yes !!!NOT ! They were straight out of a freezer bag ! And not even cooked. Just so disappointed ! I i have attached pictures. Mashed potatoes had no cream or butter taste like they were made with water alone. Wait staff was clueless. Don't waste your Saturday lunch outing or your time here !

Wowza!! First time & I am in love!!…read more To think I have been living in Texas for 15 years and missed out on this! Makes me wonder what else I missed on! The decoration & decor was very in my element as you can see in photos. The restaurant was super clean, all chairs pushed in, trash empty, floors clean, all drinks working in the machine & it was also clean. So clean that I dined in. The chicken was hot temp which I love! If I am going for fried, I want smoking hot out the grease hot! Cane's delivered that and the flavors, yes, the flavor is unmatched when dipped in the famous Cane's sauce. I now get all the talk on Sauce TOK. It's really that good. The Service was so friendly. Quick order & they were happy to provide my request for crispy fries. One thing about me, the crispier the fries, the better and if I am going to go fast food & with a non-complex carb, I want them HOT & Crispy. Not only did Cane's deliver the crispy fries, they surprised me with extra fries & BREAD (toasted on both sides as recommended). No way I could eat all those fries & bread but I did take that bread home. The go put on a show with calling out my name for my food. The employees were so happy & seemed to actually like each other which is rare to see these days. Raising Canes HIT in all the right ways!!! This Raising Canes was all the right & none of the wrong. YUMMY!! I will be BACK....I said that in my head with a Terminator voice. hahaha. If you not making yourself laugh, you're not living. Enjoy Raising Cane's Chicken Finger off Whitestone in Cedar Park!!

I would definitely give that a one star. And the girl that was at the window was in a foul mood and just said, 'here's your food'. It was actually kind of funny because I thought she was just messing with me, but then she continued to just glare at me.

The management is really lacking in handling their employees, resorting to yelling and "dressing down" in full view of the dining room over very simple things. Yesterday I was at this location, and a homeless black man came in yelling at the top of his lungs. Arguing with people only he could see, demanding a drink or ice. He was so loud and unstable that his bellowing could be heard across the entire store, causing even the back staff to come forward. Instead of calling the cops, the manager gave him the ice. The friend I was there with said that the same guy had come in and done this multiple times. Luckily, I have a concealed carry permit and normally leave the guns in the truck. The man distressed all the customers, and I was tempted to take action myself or call the cops. This is an unsafe situation for everyone, including the families and small children eating here. This location needs to ban this guy and call the cops before a citizen like me needs to take action.

This location is close to Sprouts Farmers Market. Location was convenient for me today. Parking was easy. Lots of parking spots. Walked in, young man greeted me. He was very polite and very nice. I looked over their menu, and decided on the combo. It was about $12.00 came with 4 chicken tenders, fries, coleslaw, and a hot dog shaped roll. I also got a side of their dipping sauce. Also a drink. The drink is self serve. I only poured half a cup, not a big soda drinker. But I got their Barq's root beer. Which was just what I remembered soda to be like. Bubbly. I did use the bathroom to wash my hands. I had just got car for my car. By the time I came out, another gentleman called my name and handed me my tray. I grabbed some napkins and some ketchup in the small little paper container, and a fork. Found a seat at a high top table. The decor all around was really interesting. Elvis Presley on the walls. Cedar Park sign, disco balls, Texas state flag. A little bit of everything. Thought it was neat looking around. Food was great. Chicken is fat and juicy tenders. Crispy outside, super juicy inside. Dipping sauce was good too. fries, are the crinkle cut. They were good. Not steaming hot, kind of warm hot. Love the coleslaw. Some places can't get it right. Theirs is done right. Enjoyed the coleslaw. I didn't eat the roll. Actually I didn't even finish. After 2 tenders and a few fries, I got full. I went back up front to get a to-go container. The young man that took my order was the same man that gave me the container. I asked his name, he said Jakob. I said " Jakob, you're the nicest most polite young man I've encountered" he was just so polite with yes ma'am, and asking me questions, throughout the ordering process. I just had to give him a compliment. He handed me a QR code to leave a compliment review on. Which I will do after this Yelp review. Way to go Jakob. Hope your boss sees this review as well. Well deserved.

The inside is kind of cute for a fast food spot. I do appreciate that they don't seem to use a lot of salt like other fast foods, but the fact that the chicken was flavorless unless you use the sauce is what goes for me. I tried it with their sauce and without, and I can tell if you don't get the sauce, it's pretty bland. The fries were crispy, but they did have a lot of salt on them. We ordered both the sandwich and the plate, and both were whatever. For the price, I truly can grab food elsewhere.
