When we saw the truck would be setting up shop on Friday, we made the last minute decision to jump in the car and check it out. These guys use local, high quality ingredients, which is paired with an homage to old country cooking techniques. The menu is small, but packed with goodies and the occasional special. +Roast Beef - ($10) Smoked Mayo, Pickles, Crispy Onions, Butter and Microgreens. I don't even remember the last time I ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich. This brought me back to my childhood, though the flavors executed were above and beyond your average sandwich. Wrapped in a traditional easy to hold paper wrapper, full enough to satisfy, but not drippy or messy to eat. The price was $10, but that included the tax, so I think it was fair for the serving. There was a simple dessert crepe for $7. They have several drinks available, all good choices with french food, several flavored Pelllegrino varieties, Perrier, and Mexican Coke. The most popular item being ordered by people in line today was the Croque Madame, a pretty big meal for a lunch for me, but I will find the truck on a day when I am super hungry and give it a try.
