The beer is super good! I got the hoppy pils and highly recommend. If you get a flight it's like 12 bucks on average for 4 different tasters. In terms of the food, we got the killer shrimp and the garlic fries. The garlic fries were good and it was a great portion of fries. Would get again! The shrimp were very shallot forward and not spicy. If you don't love a shallot forward taste I wouldn't get them. Service was quick. I will say the food is a little expensive for what it is....and if you get more bread it's not free it's 2 extra just fyi because we didn't know and it wasn't disclosed when offered more. I would come back for the beer for sure but maybe skip food next time (although the bbq smells delicious I will have to try next time). They also have a diverse menu with a lot of great options!

Food with a bit of a unique twist. We got the BELT sandwich and were clueless when I ordered, but when it came out, I realized it was belly, egg, arugula, and tomato; a soft play on BLT. I expected it to be light, and it was even lighter than I was expecting, but unique and good. The drumlettes were good, seasoned like tandoori chicken. They looked good and incentivized the table next to us to order the same. I had their non-alcoholic beer option.. Ambiance: The wide windows are wonderful for seeing the sky change colors if you happen to be around at sunset. Vibe: Loud, social! Speak up! Families, couples playing catch up, groups of guys catching up. Service: our waitress was competent, confident, experienced.

Edgar R is fantastic. Great for beers and delicious food. I love their blondes (sandy shores) and deviled eggs. They can get really busy where it's too packed and you have to wait to be seated. Clean restroom and awesome staff. Edgar was very awesome. Welcoming and on point. He recommended the short ribs and they did not disappoint. It was so good. The taste. The sauce , onions...juicy tender meat.... Oh my they just melted in our mouths. Very delicious. Ample parking. The beers are always so nice and cold to cool down from heat and a crazy work day

If you have not tried the Mac n' Cheese, just do it. You will be transported to comfort food heaven. As always, Alpha is the best server. Ask for her station and you're guaranteed to enjoy a delightful experience. We love the HS vibe. Again and again and again... Cheers!

Ambiance: it's spacious inside, good for large group gatherings, overall it feels more like a bar restaurant rather than a brewery Service: pushy and impatient, unfortunately bad recommendations, unfamiliar with their specialities Food & Drink: surprising good food menu, but disappointing draft beer selections HOPSAINT KILLER SHRIMP - **** roasted red peppers and tomato, shallots, habanero, cilantro, cream, spicy and rich in flavors, recommend Side Shell Pasta - **** tasty with killer shrimp sauce, recommend SMOKED BRISKET - **** juicy and tender, recommend French Fries - ** soggy and not fresh This Is How We Do It IPA - *** west coast IPA, average Key Lime Tart - ** overly sour Pure Intention - *** pale ale, watery Chocolate Trip Nitro - **** unique taste, recommend Still Pills - *** light taste Eternal Skies - *** generic, hard to drink Price: small portions and overpriced for their beer quality, not worth $40+ per person

Minimal service, no music, was oddly quiet. Bartenders were not very social. Seemed kinda annoyed we were there. Gave it a 3rd shot. Will likely not return unless others recommend it since it's the only walkable sit down spot from my uncles other than the tiny sandwich shop across the way. Food is dry and over seasoned. I will say the steak was beautifully tender and cooked to perfection. I Recommend it as a full steak instead of the tiny salad. Definitely add more colors of the rainbow to the beer selections. More local brews would be cool too. Maybe add a game table and more decor, the vibe was very dull.

I was here six years ago and just found my review, which stated that I would return, and I finally returned last night! If I didn't live in Maryland I would be here a lot more often. Fantastic selection of beers, delicious food, and service last night by Lala was outstanding! We had flatbread, brussels sprouts, and pasta and all were delicious. I had two IPAs and recommend both of them! Hopefully it won't be six years before I return once again! So Much Citra Hopsaint IPA

Chill vibe! Pretty small and busy. Food was good. Bartenders were on top of it. Our waiter was interesting but I liked how we had separate people bring out our food and clear our plates. Brussel sprouts were really Smokey but I liked the pineapple and bacon flavors to balance it out. Food came out really fast.

    Happy Trails to You!

Hop Saints Brewery makes one of the BEST CHARBROILED BURGERS in the South Bay and has so many great beer and ale choices that it's a great adventure every time you go! It can get crowded, but generally the service is superb and fast! The menu offers wonderful choices of salads and Louisiana plates. But, I especially love Randy, she's the sweetest and cutest young server in the house! Tell her that John sent you for some extra sugar and watch her beautiful smile! Suggestion: Hop Saint's Burger with Bacon, coleslaw and a side of deviled eggs! YUMMMY AND REASONABLY PRICED HEAVENLY DELIGHTS. GET SOME!

HopSaint Famous Burnt End Chili was good. I'd recommended for sharing. So much flavors in it!

Ask the Community - HopSaint Brewing

    Is this place still open?

Yes. I was there Friday after work and Sunday for lunch.

Do they have any sour beers or ciders?

They have sours as part of their regular rotation. Kickstart My Tart is one. They usually have cider in bottles or cans.

    Do they take reservations?

Only for parties of 6 or more.

What non alcoholic beverages are available?

    Fanta in bottles.

If it's outdoor dining, will you have a tent over the table due to rain?

No tent... hasn't rained when we dined there in past

Is the kitchen open all day on Saturday?

    all day every day

Ate you open for the Fourth of July?

    Yes, they are open on the 4th from 12 - 4 p.m.

    Do you allow service dogs?

They don't even let dogs sit outside with you which is essentially a parking lot. Very disappointing. We left and won't be coming back.

What time is their happy hour?

They don't have a happy hour. Every hour spent there is happy 😃 (true) They do have weekly food specials. Certain food offered on certain day. Ie: Taco Tuesday plate !

Is it really "good for kids"? Do they have a kids menu?

They have no specific kids menu, but they have desserts and soda. There are often families with children dining.

I see on the site that there is brunch but for some reason, can't seem to locate the days/times. Does anyone know?…

Brunch is on Sunday starting at 10:00am. Their brunch menu is as amazing as their dinner! Check out and follow their Facebook page for specials and updates too.

Yes, there's benches and a small faux grass area. But these benches, let me tell you, are T.R.A.S.H.! As much foot traffic comes through here, it's down right disappointing and shows how cheap a business can be. My family and I have come to this brewery many times to celebrate birthdays and special occasions…read more Unfortunately, over the past couple visits, I've noticed the customer service has steadily declined. It feels like the staff is more concerned with getting out exactly at closing time than making guests feel welcomed and valued. Our last visit on 06/25/2026 was, by far, the worst experience we've ever had here. We were celebrating my stepdaughter's birthday with a large group. As closing time approached, one of our family members still had a nearly full beer. Without any warning or politely letting us know it was time to finish up, a tall white male employee (who refused to provide his name when asked) simply walked up and took the beer off the table. What made it even more frustrating was that there were other tables around us with guests who also had drinks, yet our party was the only one singled out. To make matters worse, we had brought a birthday cake to celebrate. We politely asked another short female employee for a few plastic plates and utensils so we could cut the cake before leaving. We were told no because they were closing. This has never been an issue during our previous birthday celebrations here. These were disposable plastic plates and utensils that would have gone straight into the trash, so refusing such a simple request came across as pure unwillingness to provide basic customer service. I spent 10 years working in the food and hospitality industry before starting my current career, so I understand exactly what closing a restaurant or brewery entails. I know employees want to leave on time, but I also know that providing good customer service until the last guest leaves is part of the job. If customers need to wrap things up, there is a respectful way to communicate that. You don't take someone's drink without warning, and you don't refuse a simple request that would have taken less than a minute. Everyone in our party left upset and disappointed. It was honestly embarrassing to watch employees treat loyal customers this way. This brewery used to be our go-to place for birthdays, but after this experience, we will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews because I understand everyone has bad days. However, this experience was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of hospitality and provides better customer service training, because the employees working that evening did not represent the level of service that keeps loyal customers coming back. Both the female worker with tattoos and piercings and the tall male were extremely rude when confronted. If you choose to visit, just be aware that if you're there close to closing time, your experience may depend more on how quickly the staff wants to leave than on making you feel like a valued guest.

Apparently, everyone else in the South Bay had the same idea because the place was absolutely humming. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, just be patient. Fortunately, we had reservations and were quickly seated in a roomy table tucked away in the back corner. It turned out to be prime real estate: enough privacy for conversation, but still a great vantage point to take in the entire restaurant. The patio out front might be even better, though, if you're into people-watching. Catalina Avenue on a Friday night offers no shortage of entertainment. But for our group, this table was perfect. The interior has a warm, industrial feel, exposed brick, dark wood, metal accents, garage-style doors, and televisions scattered throughout. Oddly, the Dodgers game wasn't on. Maybe they don't get SportsNet LA. I never bothered to ask because the conversation at our table was far more enjoyable. Let's address the elephant in the room: Friday-night service. The place was packed, and our server was clearly running a marathon. He's usually stationed behind the bar, sports a sleeve of tattoos, looks super fit, and carries a permanent smile. He worked hard all evening, but there were some significant stretches where my Ikasu Ikasu West Coast IPA ($11) sat empty with no rescue in sight. A man can only stare sadly at an empty pint glass for so long. We started with the poutine fries, crispy fries loaded with gravy, skirt steak, mornay sauce, Gruyère, and green onions. They were outstanding and disappeared so quickly that I remembered to take a photo only after the massacre had already occurred, see my picture, LOL. Our server redeemed himself with his entrée recommendation: The Philly. Thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, sweet and hot peppers, house sauce, all piled into a sesame roll. It was fantastic, messy, savory, and exactly what you want from a cheesesteak. My wife paired a Harmonia Mango Wheat ($11) with the Blue Cheese Avocado Burger ($20), a hefty seven-ounce burger topped with melted blue cheese, grilled onions, avocado, applewood bacon, and arugula. She was a happy camper. Our friends split the same burger and also ordered the hummus appetizer, adding filet mignon on top. Excellent call, I snuck a few bites! To their credit, at the end of the evening our server came back to the table, apologized for the pacing, and made amends with a complimentary Crafted Cookie: a warm chocolate-chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. At the end of the day, restaurants are about more than perfect timing and topped-off beers. They're about sharing stories, laughing with friends, and breaking bread with people you enjoy being around. The service had its ups and downs, but the food was solid, the atmosphere lively, and Riviera Village on a summer Friday night is hard to beat.
