I came here for a late dinner with two coworkers. The staff was very attentive, but the food was just mediocre. We started off with the crab dip, which was served cold (tepid at best), with dry and stale bread. It had a funny taste and was also very fishy. I got the chicken caesar salad, which was doused in dressing. It was ok, but the lettuce didn't taste fresh. One friend got the turkey burger which came with a side of guacamole, which was completely brown. Overall, although the wait staff was good, the quality of the food was lacking.

Ok, Shellhammer's is back off our list. It is just too inconsistent. The last 2 times we were there the French Dip and the London Broil on the caesar salad were chewy. Gross, the food has definitely gone downhill. I have been coming here since maybe 2007-ish, and we loved stopping here because it's open late. It's always been inconsistent, but now it's just bad. This is where we discovered cheesesteak egg rolls, but we found some better late night options elsewhere.

Great food, not a typical bar selection. I have only been here about 4 times and I have only had burgers. They also have a variety of entrées that sound good but the $10 burger special on Wednesday is amazing for the quality. The service is good and attentive, especially with clearing and refills. The overall feeling of the establishment is comfortable and friendly.

Came for a reserved lunch with friends Our waitress was amazing and personable! The pot sticker appetizers were so good! I ended up getting the Chicken Florentine for my entree. It was tooo cheesey for my likes in the end. And I suppose, a combination of the cheese and shells made it almost have a strong smell also. The chicken breast in the entree was moist Plenty of free parking infront of restaurant If I'm ever in the area in the evening, I would love to come back and check out any happy hour vibes

I've had my eye on this place for a couple months. I knew I was going to fin my way in here and I finally did. Well I ordered to go but still enjoyed my experience. First off the customer service here is awesome. Everyone speaks, very friendly and attentive. I come from the city where that's not always the case so that was a plus for me. I called and the phone was immediately answered. My questions were acknowledged and answered with no issue. I ended up ordering the Cheesesteak and wings. Both of which were very good. The cheesesteak moist and not dry which I love. Wings were cooked just the way I asked (rarely happens). Only thing missing was a little seasoning on the cheesesteak but that was an easy fix once I got in the house. $16 for a cheesesteak and wings, I was happy. You can't beat that. I will definitely be going again. They also have specials during the week and Brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

$6 Cheesesteaks all day Mondays. And it comes with fries or coleslaw. Good solid bar cheesesteak. The fried onions gave it a lot of flavor. Decent COVID compliant crowd and everyone sounded like they were having fun.

He had no sense of humor very dry was not attentive to any of our needs water, extra drinks, etc.. but the steaks were good. We will go back and try it again. I'm just surprised that the manager wasn't giving anybody maybe a free appetizer or a drink because the AC was out now I know some of you were probably saying well, I would've left if that was the case keep in mind we drove an hour there not knowing the AC was out until we arrived

The revolving door was a bit challenging for a person with a cane, would have been nice if the handicap access door was available. Huge buffalo head on the wall was an interesting touch. The salad was fresh and filled with plenty of chicken and shrimp. The French dip was piled high with meat and was very tasty but was a little fatty, and the Rack of Ribs were delicious. I never knew "Zingers" were a thing. We all had various versions of dishes with Zingers and different sauces. Mine was a Zingers salad with a spicy peach sauce--perfection. The onion rings were some of the best we have had--not greasy at all, seasoned well, and enough to share. My son had a slice of the legendary ice cream cake for his birthday, and our server brought us spoons to sample it since everyone was too full to order dessert. Would definitely come back.

Subject: Formal Complaint - Unacceptable Staff Conduct and Management Failure…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a deeply troubling experience I had at your Turning Point Restaurant location. What occurred was far below any reasonable standard of customer service and left me feeling unsafe and disrespected. During my visit, a male server verbally accosted me -- using profane language, making threatening remarks, and treating me in a wholly disrespectful manner. This behavior was entirely unprovoked and completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone a dining establishment. What made the situation worse was the response from management. Despite the incident taking place, the manager on duty took no meaningful action to address the situation, offer an apology, or ensure my safety and comfort as a customer. Their inaction sent a clear message that this kind of conduct is tolerated at your restaurant. I am requesting the following: 1. A formal written acknowledgment of this complaint 2. A full investigation into the conduct of the staff member involved 3. Appropriate disciplinary action against both the server and the manager who failed to act 4. A direct response to me outlining the steps taken I sincerely hope Turning Point takes this matter seriously. No customer should ever be subjected to threats or verbal abuse, and no manager should stand by while it happens. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Kwame

I'm always up for trying new places. Especially when it comes to craft beer. That part was fine. if…read moreyou like craft beer you will find something you like. Still, I'm landing 50/50 on this place. Here's why. For starters other than already knowing it was there and getting a recommendation from someone else, there is no signage. The words Farm A Sea do not appear anywhere that I could see. Not outside. Not even inside. Also the signs outside that have arrows that point to "Restaurant" point towards each other. I drove around the building twice and had to assume that there was an entrance inside the lobby of the hotel somewhere. Also its not kid friendly. Not in that there is any kind of element that is detrimental to kids. They just don't have a specific kids menu. I'm not even sure they have booster seats. We just got lucky that mac & cheese was a dinner special. We ordered our meals and the Pork Belly as an app. After waiting entirely too long for an app to come out our dinners arrived. The waitress forgot to put in the order for the app. Which I asked her to bring anyway. I regretted that later. The mac & cheese was actually really really good. It had some kind of meat, maybe hamburger in it so it was kind of like a helper type deal. The 4 year old liked it, the 9 year old and I finished it off. My oldest had the wings from the app menu. Nice chili sauce. The drums were really good. However the actual wings were really fatty. Fatty to the point of just mush. Or they were undercooked. Not sure which. For my main I had the sausage flat bread. Which was cold. Not room temp. Cold. Especially compared to the mac and the wings. It was also under seasoned. I was willing to forgive all of this had the late app pork belly been good. That was the worst. I have had pork belly many places. I understand its 50% fat, 50% meat. But it should be even with meat on one side and fat on the other. Not 50% meat pieces and 50% fat pieces. Im not even sure they used the right cut of meat. It wasn't even salty or pull apart like the meat should be. If you want to know what Pork Belly should be like... go to 8th & Union in Wilmington and get the fried rice. Awesome. So with that I stand 50/50. This place has no foot traffic and no signage. The location already failed as a hotel once before the renovation. So If they cant work on being consistent I don't see it lasting. I may or may not go back.

The wings came out hot, and they were so plentiful, I had to box my order because I was full. (Okay, I filled up on beer. Shoot me. I love beer, and their tap prices are so low compared to NYC). I also ordered fries, and I'll be damn, they were great as well. 4/5 experience. There was a male bartender who was clearly caught up in himself and I could tell he felt like I was competition and he completely ignored me. Cool. No problem. I was able to gain help from a really nice female bartender who waited on me despite dude's responsibility at my section of the bar. I'll definitely come back when traveling through Delaware. Sorry that Nordstrom is now closed. But, this spot is super solid. They have plenty of monitors. My only issue is that I walked in on a sunny July day at 6:00PM and the inside is so dark, it took about 15 minutes for my eyes to adjust. Cool spot. I'd bring a casual date or partner while passing through on I-95. Now that Nordstrom is closed, I have a good reason to stop by. The bang for the buck is amazing in today's age.
