I purchased and received two "Mother Trucker" air horns from Horn Blasters. After installation, the horns just didn't pack that punch I was hoping for. It was determined by Horn blasters that the horns were defective. Horn blasters immediately tested and shipped next day air two replacement horns. I had the horns installed and WOW! Have replaced 4 electric valves on my train horns. Now the horn blasters WILL NOT stand behind the trash electronics. I am an A.S.E. Master certified auto technician, so the install is correct. Parts and service are crap. The air valve sticks after trying to get it to work and UNSTICKS in middle of the night waking up the entire street. Also, with it constantly running after the horn stops blowing by itself, it has destroyed my truck battery and burned out the compressor at several hundred dollars. Not sure what changed but don't buy their products just had installed a Spare Tire delete on 10/31/24 and the High pressure relay failed. Contacted support they asked for receipt, then asked for video of the device not working and then said thanks for all that but you need to have other people ask for the replacement part not the owner of the device and they will not warranty it with my request even tho I am the owner. read more

I ordered a set of air bags from HornBlasters. When I got my package there was only one strand of tape on the top and bottom of the box holding the box flaps closed. One of the tape pieces was barely hanging on and it looked very close to letting go. I'm not sure who thought it was ok to send my package off like that with a chance the air bags could fall out of the box with ease if not handled right. I contacted HornBlasters and the only answer they could give me was that it's the holidays and their team is focused on getting orders out. I understand the holidays are a busy time but blaming the holidays for a poor packaging job and jeopardizing customer satisfaction just seems flat out ridiculous. I guess their focus is not quality over quantity or customer satisfaction. As an eBay seller, I pride myself in making sure my orders are packaged neatly and correct to ensure they make their long way to the customer with no issues and at the end of the day, me and my customers are happy. I've shipped hundreds of orders on eBay and I haven't had a single bad experience from a buyer because of packaging. I realize not everyone is worried about packaging but for high dollar item(s), I think quality packaging is important. I would hate it if I spent a lot of money on something from HornBlasters and their poor packaging caused a big item or multiple items to go missing or become damaged because the quality was not there for packaging. Safe to say HornBlasters has lost my business forever. All my Amazon packages beat HornBlaster's packaging abilities lol. read more

I brought a HornBlaster train horn back in 2008 and I installed it and never had any kind of failure to this day but I just purchased pretty much the same Train horn kit and have had nothing but problems. Problem #1 was that pressure switch totally just failed couple months after install. I called them and they sent out new pressure switch and blow off valve. Then problem #2 about 2 months after first issue the solenoid on the air horn failed so they sent me out a new solenoid. So now a couple more months go by and the horns sound horrible and have some kind of diaphragm failure but this time on problem #3 they will not warranty horns because they want me to drop horns down from my truck and take apart and want pictures of broken diaphragm. So I ask are you going to send me out new diaphragms and they said "NO WE JUST WANT TO SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE, WE DONT EVEN MAKE REPLACEMENT DIAPHRAGMS FOR THAT SET OF HORNS". I am a mechanic by trade and tried to explain to them that I have these horns tucked up in a tight place and will take me time that I shouldn't have to spend to check their faulty product. I was told that they will not replace horn assembly unless I do what they ask. So now I have to make time to take down horns and disassemble,clean and reassemble and take pictures of everything and then if that doesn't work they will send me new horn assembly. I started looking hard a some of these parts that they are using against the parts from the train horn kit I purchased in 2008 and have found that the VIAIR components they used to use have been replaced with cheaper knock off part that look the same but are not the same quality. In my original 2008 kit everything is VIAIR brand for every part and on new parts it just has stickers that say "HORNBLASTERS" and no more VIAIR other than on air tank. My new air horn kit is not even a year old yet and I kind of dread what will fail next when it out of warranty. I hope someone reads this over there at "Hornblasters" and goes back to making a real quality train horn kits like they used to. My original train horn from 2008 is still going strong without issue and I love the way it sounds. I really like the new horn too except for the different parts failing. read more

I had the shocker XL installed in my vehicle. Initially the air tank filled up rather quickly. Overtime, I noticed it took longer and longer for the air tank to be filled by the compressor. Although the website says to regularly change the air filter, there are absolutely no directions, absolutely no diagram to even tell me where the Air filter is located. When I pay almost $1000 for a horn system, maintenance directions should be a critical and basic component that is not only listed in a very user-friendly way on the website, but anyone who picks the phone up at the company should be able to answer my question -where is the air filter? !! . That is not what happened. I called and spoke to someone at the company and the guy suggested I remove four screws on the compressor in efforts to locate the air filter. He had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. I am glad I did not listen to him. I found out where the air filter was located on my own. That should never have happened. Lack of consideration for the customer exists over there (Horn blasters company) when they expect the customer to perform some basic maintenance for the system without providing any directions or guidance. This is very disappointing and change should be made immediately. I searched all over the website at hornblasters.com only to find installation instructions only. Never any specific mention for how to change and where The air filter is located. Unacceptable. read more

Terrible quality horns. I have been dealing with their customer service department all summer and they wont refund my money. This horn hasnt worked right since I installed it and they have sent me 3 different ways to wire it. Ive owned a landscape company for 21 years and have wired almost every piece of equipment in one way or another including truck lights and all my trailers. I know my way around wiring. I put testers on every wire to and from their relays they sent me. Horn works alone but not through their relays. I color coded every wire connection and sent to them I even showed them voltages tests but they wont refund my money and now tell me it must be wires. Its a brand new International CV 515 truck by the way and nothing wrong with ss. I ordered horn on amazon in mean time and took me 5 minutes and it works great just not loud enough for this truck. Their company is terrible and the quality of their products is terrible. read more

I bought a kit from HornBlasters for $1000. Kit showed up after like 2 weeks. I started to put things together and realized they sent me junk! 1out of 2 air compressors had the leader hose snapped off at the fitting. One out of 4 horns had the threads stripped from the factory. I called to tell them and they said they would send everything. 4 days later I called to check and nothing had been done. Tyler states he hadn't received my email lol. Parts show up today Saturday... and guess what?!?!? He sent me the wrong horn!! He asked for the measurements I have them and boom wrong shit!!!
