WARNING!!!!! Do not do business with this stealership. My wife took our 2023 Kia Sorrento to Horne Kia on 03/13/2026 to have warranty work done on a window shade that wouldn't stay up properly. When she got home she told me she was charged $151.00. When I looked at the invoice it showed it was for an oil change and a tire rotation. On 03/11/2026 she just had an oil change done. She never got an estimate at drop off and assumed the window shad wasn't under warranty. She also said the service advisor Christian never went over anything with her after the fact, just pay over there to pickup your vehicle. I called that day and asked to speak with the service manager. The person who answered the phone said they were the service manager and he apologized and said they don't do things like that and they would make it right. He then said and he would need to speak with his manager about this. He said he or someone would call me back. Three and a half days went by with no phone call. I called back again and asked to speak to the service director. The person who answered tells me he'll transfer me and he'll pick right up. Instead I get transferred to a phone that rang 15 or more times with no option for a voicemail. I hung up and called back again, the service line rang several times and then it rolled over to sales. A nice lady answered the call and took the time to ask me what happened. She took down my phone number and email and said she'd walk right over and put this on the service directors desk to call me back. The next day, there's no call again. I went online and looked up who the general manager of the dealership was (Joshua) and found his email. I detailed everything and included both receipts proving the oil change had just been completed two days prior. I left my phone number. No one called me again. I was being super reasonable and patient just wanting to speak with someone and go over this. Of course, no response or call again. I decided I needed to go to the dealership in person. After that I became very irritated that would have to waste my time going to this dealership because no one would call me back. This dealership is 30 minutes away from my house. Upon my arrival there's about 15 people standing or sitting around doing nothing. No customers were there at that moment. I had to walk up to someone to get acknowledged. No greeting whatsoever. I explain to the person sitting there that I would like to speak with the service director. He walks over to this guy sitting in an office. He signals to come over to him. Already pretty rude that he wouldn't come out to me. Right when I walk in he says "what do you need?" Not how can I help you or my name is ______. Super rude already. I introduce myself by shaking his hand and try to break the ice by saying "so are you the person who won't return my calls?" He didn't even tell me his name when he shook my hand. I had to ask him. His name is Don. He then shrugs to my question and right then I realized he knew exactly who I was and was purposely not returning my calls. I then tried to start explaining what happened and I was maybe 5 words into it and he said "yeah, yeah your wife isn't getting her money back". As soon as I heard that I at that very minute knew they were misleading people on purpose there and he knew that. I hadn't previously asked for our money back, although that's what I would have asked had I been given the opportunity. He was rude and aggressive cutting me off mid-sentence. In that moment I thought, obviously they don't care about customers or keeping customers, especially this guy who is supposed to be leading the rest of the service department. I was so pissed off at his curt rudeness at that moment I lost my cool, blew up, and cursed him out big time. Which, he absolutely deserved. I also proceeded to let their service staff know my displeasure in a very vocal manner very loudly as well. This could have all been avoided with a simple phone call and them rectifying the situation. However, they won't rectify something they did on purpose. What's really crazy is over $151.00 to rob my wife of unnecessary services, they lost customers. You see, we lease our Sorrento and it's the first Kia we've had and we're very impressed especially after owning some high end vehicles twice or more the price. She drives a lot and loves the PHEV. The lease is up in a few months and we're going to be purchasing 2 fully loaded Tellurides now that they come in hybrid models. Looks like we'll be purchasing those elsewhere. Christian, Don and Joshua, I really hope it was worth losing thousands over $151.00. Horne, you should fire all of these guys, they're going to cost you money. Also, learn how to work with customers, especially when problems arise. Very poorly run dealership and I plan on letting everyone I know about how they mislead customers at this place. read more

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT HORNE KIA!. I drove to Horne Kia's Service Department without an appointment expecting to meet with a Service Writer only to explain to him/her that I had an "Engine Light" on and ask how it should be handled. I was fully prepared to get set up with an appointment and return with the car at a later date. The Service Writer Josh met me as I walked through the door and greeted me with a positive attitude and asked if I had been helped. I explained my Engine Light issue and he did a quick scan of my vehicle. Josh then researched for any recalls (VIN) for my vehicle and found one that needed attention; he advised he had a Tech available to take care of the "Recall" issue today if I wanted to wait a little; to which I agreed. Josh contacted me later after a more thorough scan was completed by the tech's and advised they identified the code as being a bad Catalytic Converter. Josh said he researched the part and had one in stock. Josh asked if I could leave my vehicle so the Tech could complete the install of the Catalytic Converter today. I advised Josh that I would be able to leave my car and pick it up in the morning. I was very impressed that I was not pushed off to a later appointment and that the matter would be handled here and now. On the morning when I picked up my car, Josh was not working but I was met with the same welcoming and warm attitude as I was the day before. I paid for a Spare Tire Kit that did not come with my used car and left the Service Department with a very positive and welcoming feeling. I have personally worked in the Automotive Field as a Transmission Tech for 19 years before changing careers into Public Service and I know a little bit about Dealership Service areas and how they work. The experience I received from Horne Kia was OUTSTANDING! The service area was well organized, clean and efficient! Josh Kirby was very professional, courteous and to the point. He explained the status of my vehicle at every contact and explained the shuttle service (I did not use) and where the break room was located. I felt very welcomed in the Service area and was not ushered into the Waiting Area like some Dealerships do. The Service are was clean, the staff professional and Josh and his fellow staff took the time to address every person who walked through the Service Door. GREAT JOB SERVICE STAFF TEAM! On a side note, I saw a few negative reviews for trade in vehicles and issues with pricing; most have to do with people not doing their research on add-on items sold with used cars at Dealerships or that Dealerships have an obligation to sell a good used care on their lot. If your trade in does not meet a specific standard, it usually gets pushed off to other used car lots. If it does meet the standards, a great deal of work has to go into the vehicle before it hits the Dealer's lot as a good used vehicle. The better the vehicle, the better the price. The older the vehicle the lower the price, if it is worn out; sell it on a street corner. read more

Our salesman Ali was great and he followed up and thanked me for staying late and purchasing a vehicle. We got a very good deal. The reason I didn't go with 5 stars is as follows; 1. Manager tried to pull a fast one on us with numbers which we pointed out and it was corrected immediately even though we had to ask for the old paperwork to compare it to the new paperwork to make sure everything was as agreed. 2. The first set had the wrong agreed upon sales price (which was corrected immediately) although they tried to explain it away we showed them they were trying to get a wash on our trade in and also the paperwork included an added premium cost for an upgraded warranty that was not requested. 3. My credit is golden and they tried to put me at 5.99% with an 809 credit rating, they changed it to 3.5%. 4. Finance guy was amazing. It was late I was tired, I'm sure he was as well. Never met a cheerier kind person. He was straight forward with all of the paperwork and explained the extended 10 yr. 100,000 mile warranty very clearly since I bought a 2014 that warranty started in 2014 and was now basically 7 years. Thanks for not hiding that fact. And it only covers bumper to bumper for 5 years 60k miles then the coverage changes to specific items for the remainder of the warranty, thanks again for the honesty. 5. A couple of things weren't working properly on the vehicle, I was able to call in and bring the car in same day. One was a lack of understanding on my part about a particular switch (all good), two they had to recalibrate the MPG display so that it read correctly which they did (told me it would be probably 1 1/2 hour if I wanted to wait it was less then 30) so the service center was great. Only thing I didn't like is the vehicle needed so touch up on some paint that I didn't notice when purchasing cuz it was late at night. I went back they gave me free touch up paint. I asked if they could do it since it would be in the service area anyway and it was kind of minimal I was told they had vendor that did that only on Mondays and it was an extra charge. That I didn't like because if it hadn't been late and I noticed it I would've had them add to my deal the paint being touched up that probably would've taken a technician maybe an hour total to do. Plus I work doubles on Monday and will never be able to get my vehicle in on a Monday. They should've done it. But overall my experience so far was great. I felt that 90 percent of who we have dealt with were honest and honorable. It's hard to buy a car with all the wheeling and dealing and back and forth nonsense so I appreciated that 90% of the experience was above board. Go in knowing what you want, what you're willing to pay (not your monthly payment, what you're willing to pay for the car) be clear and don't make concessions that do not meet what you want (especially if you have good credit and a good cash down payment, they should take good care of you). I came to Horne Kia with my wife and newborn to purchase a new Kia Telluride. While at the dealership, I was going over features on the vehicle and mentioned to my sales representative, Marco Cruz that we needed a tow-hitch on the Telluride and asked if it would be included. Marco Cruz let us know that it was included and that we would just need to schedule a time with Marco to get it installed. This was September 2nd 2022. Marco Cruz then assured me that he and the Sales Manager: Austen Moore had placed the order for the part and it was going to come in. I then offered to leave a good review once the tow hitch install was completed, Marco then sent me a "Cheat-Sheet" on how to answer the Kia survey - I still have the text message as well.  I reached out to Marco Cruz, every several days over the course of 4-6 weeks over text message regarding getting this tow hitch installed and the current status. Around week 4-5 I was told that the tow hitch harness was now under recall and was no longer being installed until the recall ended.  I brought my Kia in for service today (week 6) and was told that not only is the harness under recall, but the sales department had no record of them covering the installation of a tow hitch.  I showed them the proof in writing I had after discussing this with Marco Cruz, who stated Austen Moore (Sales Manager) had ordered the part. They told me that the sales department wouldn't pay for anything out of pocket even after agreeing the text messages were legitimate.  However, they tried to make things right by offering that Marco Cruz pay for us to install a tow-hitch but not the $1200 quoted Kia tow hitch, but a tow hitch installed from U-Haul and that was the best they could offer. - I have this in text message as well from the repair representative I have screenshots of all of this as well and even showed it to them. I will never do business with Kia again. I will attempt to leave this review everywhere I can to spread awareness as well as contact corporate for any additional support. It's highly unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend working with the Horne Kia dealership, Austen Moore, or Marco Cruz after our experience. They'll tell you what you want to hear in an attempt to get as much time as possible until their Kia survey runs out. I will be communicating this with corporate as well as sending these photos to them as well.  They lost a customer for life and created an unhappy client. Be very careful here, get EVERYTHING in writing before walking out of the dealerships, even if they're included. Update: 3/9/17 The Service manager has reached out and agreed to have the aforementioned services re-done to my satisfaction. That is customer service at it's finest! Thank you Jimmy, Josh, and Mechanic/Tech (sorry forgot his name). ==================================================================== ==================================================================== Brought my Sedona 2014 in for oil change today (3/3/17) and I was advised the power steering fluid be changed which I agreed. So I went to the viewing area to watch them do the oil change and the other. I saw the guy drive my vehicle to the lift, watched the mechanic jack the vehicle up, then after 15 minutes, the mechanic brought it back down, he then topped up the engine oil, closed the hood, then drove the vehicle out. I waited a little bit to see if the mechanic would bring it back in, but another vehicle was parked in the work area where my vehicle was. So I went outside the front to look for the vehicle, and Josh approached me and advised me that the vehicle would also need new wipers and coolant flush, which I also agreed for it to be done. He said "they are working on it now".. so I went back to the viewing area, but the van was not there, I then walked again to the front and was surpirsed the vehicle was there and it was already washed. So I told Josh about what I saw and he said he will speak to the mehcanic. I went back to the viewing area, and waited for my vehicle. I saw it getting parked in the same spot where it was before, and I never left the viewing area. The mechanic opened the hood, and jacked the vehicle up again. Then after about 45 minutes, he brought the vehicle down, I saw him pour what looks to be washer fluid. Then he drove the vehicle out to the front. I did not see him drain anything from under the engine (oil, coolant) I did not see him change oil filter, even rotate the tires. I was always there watching from the very beginning. This is not against Josh (service advisor) as he does not see what was being done inside, Every service advisor I have encountered (within the past 3 years) has done a stellar job, it is the mechanic who is not doing his job. Next time watch what they do, or don't bother going there for service. The management should investigate this mess, sack the mechanic, and give me back my hard earned money. read more

If we could give zero stars we would. Spent the day car shopping yesterday and this dealership ended up being the shortest stop ever in our car buying experiences over the last 40 years. Reasons, 1. Greeted by a salesman who was so impatient he couldn't even wait for my wife to get completely out of the car before asking us our names. 2. Told him we were there to check out a specific vehicle, the new Kia Teluride. He proceeded to walk us over to one on the lot and while we were making the short walk an ice cream truck (like the ones going through residential neighborhoods) came on the lot right behind us with bells ringing so loud we couldn't hear what the salesman was saying. We asked him to get the truck to turn the bells off. He did nothing! 3. The color Kia was a dark grey metallic and my wife told him we were looking for white. With the Ice cream truck bells still ringing, he walked away without a word, so we assumed he was going to check their inventory. Wrong! 4. While sitting in the vehicle waiting for his return, we checked the vehicle build and price sheet, discovering to our amazement that the dealership added a "$5000 market price adjustment" to the cost of the vehicle. Sorry, but I will never pay sticker price for a vehicle, much get screwed by a dealer's "over sticker" surcharges. Dealer surcharges are also a great indicator that you're destined to spend hours going through a high pressure sales process an multiple layers of "managers" just to get the price you should have up front. 5. We decided not to waste any more of our time here and walked away. FYI, we never saw the salesman after my wife's comment about wanting white color... maybe he was buying ice cream. Yes... the truck was still in the front of the dealership lot, bells blaring away. Don't waste your time, or hard earned dollars here. There are far better choices available... unless you're craving an ice cream while shopping. Our experience was much more pleasant at other dealerships visited that day where we encountered helpful, interested, low pressure sales people. We ultimately got a more luxurious, different brand vehicle from one of Horne's competitors. Horne's practices have tarnished the Kia's brand in our eyes, and if other customers have been treated the same way Kia should really evaluate this dealer's franchise read more

I just wanted to say that Mike Zaccardo in the service department deserves all that he wants in life! I recently bought a 2017 Kia Sportage LX at Ideal Cars in Mesa that was illegally advertised. It said no accidents or damages that prohibited it from performing the ordinary purposes in which the vehicle was purchased for. It was disclosed to me that there was an open recall to have a fuse box replaced for free. I made an appointment with Mike for the next day and within 10 minutes of my maintenance appointment, he informed me that there in fact was an accident. The sales managers words in person were "There has been no accidents and I have the Carfax to prove it online". And yes, the Carfax said no accidents. However the repairs were never reported. But the dealership knew about it and when I asked they had an obligation to tell me regardless of the Carfax that it in fact was in an accident and they failed to do so. Mike pointed out that the body work and paint is subpar. The hood didn't match or line up. And things just got worse once her looked under the hood. Some things weren't even connected and some parts were broken. Engine light came on after less than 48 hours. With Mike's advice, I immediately contacted the dealership. They refused to give me my 2013 Kia Soul I traded in back. They have been completely ignoring me the last few days on the situation. I had to leave a negative review everywhere that I possibly could, and I had to get the Better Business Bureau and a lawyer involved for Idea Cars to finally just now agree to give me my Soul back. I immediately tried to book an inspection with Mike again last minute tomorrow to make sure my Kia Soul wasn't tampered with while in Ideal Cars possession but everything online was completely booked. I reached out to him using his mobile number he gave me and explained to him the update and he immediately agreed to squeeze me in tomorrow. I have never had such amazing customer service in my life! There are still honest people working in the car business. And Mike is one of them! I'm beyond grateful! THANK YOU! read more

Great place! I had "Dray"? as our advisor. I am sorry if I slaughtered your name! All the same, I bought my Kia from Kia in another state with warranty and more and in the other state i bought it from it always seemed they never wanted to use my warranty. However, since I have come to Arizona and brought my car for servicing here they have improved its performance exponentially! There first time I brought it in they noticed our car had missed a computer update right away and that was fixed. Then the second time with "Dray?", he had our battery replaced because it did not meet the test standards during our oil change and now the car actually works better than it ever did even from the day we bought it so thank you because apparently no one had ever noticed that until we brought it here! We also mentioned our air conditioning was smelling weird and he was on top of it. There was great communication between our advisor and the car mechanic and he communicated the car mechanics ideas very well and I felt my wife and I were given very excellent advise on what to do and even what to watch for in the future. They walked us through the checklist of everything they did an how the brakes, tires etc are looking. We felt very informed by the end of it and happy to have a better battery cause our car drives way better now! So I'll let you know now, yes you might pay a little more because it's not like any random car mechanic where they can make up their own price. There will be a standardized labor fee with switching parts which makes it seem like you're paying more for the part then advertised. However, I am happy to pay a little more here than at another place because you will have an advisor AND they will keep perfect record of what they have done with your car and will give you very neat copies. You have to give a mechanic at least 3 tries before you decide it's bad too because the more they get to know your car then the more they will be able to know how to work with it. This place had definitely shown they can make correct diagnostics. read more

I walked into this dealership ready to buy a car, but instead, I left utterly frustrated and disappointed. What should have been a straightforward process turned into an exhausting and unprofessional experience. The salesperson who greeted us was polite, but it quickly became clear he lacked the knowledge to assist us. Despite clearly outlining what we were looking for, he repeatedly showed us the wrong vehicles and trims. When I asked detailed questions about the trims, he shrugged it off, saying, "It's impossible for me to know all the trim levels." How can someone selling cars not know the details of what they're selling? Still, we gave them the benefit of the doubt--big mistake. After finally sitting at a desk to narrow down our options to two trims, I asked for a quote. Instead of answering directly, the salesperson awkwardly avoided the request and admitted he was just a "floor rep" with no access to an office or the ability to provide pricing. At this point, we should have walked out. The manager finally came over and answered our questions with ease. Great, I thought--finally, we're getting somewhere. But no. Even after narrowing down our choice, they refused to give us an offer, insisting we needed to test drive the car first. Let me be clear: we didn't want a test drive; we wanted the numbers. They completely ignored our multiple requests. When we left, they promised to text the quote. Unsurprisingly, the text never came. The whole experience felt like a bait-and-switch, wasting hours of our time and showing zero respect for us as serious buyers. We're still committed to buying a Kia--but not from this dealership. If you value your time, professionalism, or simply being treated like a serious customer, avoid this place at all costs. read more

I recently inquired about a vehicle at Horne Kia and communicated clearly the price I was willing to pay. After a few back-and-forths where they continued to offer prices above my stated budget, they eventually agreed to meet my number. I hadn't seen the vehicle in person yet, so I came in to test drive and inspect it. Upon inspection, I noticed the vehicle had prior damage. Given that, I requested a 30-day warranty and two oil changes to move forward with the purchase. The warranty request was denied, which was understandable due to the state's standard 5-day/500-mile policy. However, even the two oil changes were a hard no, which felt unnecessarily rigid. Despite that, I was still being contacted repeatedly by the sales team. One salesperson, Tony, stood out in the wrong way. His tone and attitude were the epitome of why many people avoid dealerships these days. After a simple request for oil changes, he texted me saying I wasn't "the right customer" for him and that he'd never do business with me -- all over a minor negotiation point. He also accused me of "changing the deal," when in fact, no formal deal was ever made -- I had only expressed interest and shared the price I was willing to consider. In my opinion, Horne Kia operates with a high-pressure sales approach, lacks flexibility, and does not handle post-interaction communication professionally. Had they just agreed to two oil changes, I would have driven the truck off the lot. But the way they chose to communicate afterward sealed the deal -- I won't be doing business with them, and I'd caution others to be prepared for similar treatment. read more

The only thing positive about Horne Kia is Al, he is awesome. Stay away from the financing department Jarvis is a complete awful person to deal with. My husband and I went in to look at the 2015 rio's to replace our old Hyundai Accent . We knew our budget and we could not make a deal for a rio, so Al asked us about getting a 5 speed Soul because he could get us one to fit in our budget we agreed. Everything was going good to we got back to financing, Jarvis wanted us to get an additional package we said no we needed to stay in our budget.We signed the papers and every thing was good or so we thought. I got a phone call a week later from some financial place then a phone call from the Horne salesperson that we had qualified for a lower interest rate and we needed to come in and sign paperwork. We go in and find out no that is not the case but is for a higher interest rate way above what we could budget. Jarvis then tells me I am a lousy person for a phone interview. He tells me that if we put so much money down we can get the payments lowered. At this point we are already stuck because we have driven the car for a week so even if we return it we are still liable for the gap for driving it off the lot. I would stay clear of Horne Kia since they have this new location they are trying to make customers pay for it anyway they can. If you do find yourselfs in their make sure you stay away from Jarvis. I pray that Al can find a better job then this place because someone like him deserves a better place then Horne Kia to work. read more

I can not say enough for the service and the way I was treated at Horne in Show Low, Arizona. I did not expect any problems with my 2018 Honda CRV when I left Tempe Arizona. Unfortunately trying to get back home I was stranded in Show Low with a dead battery and 180 miles away from the nearest Honda dealer. Auto Zone jumped my car so I could drive to the Horne dealership in Show Low. I was stressed, (to say the least), tired, upset and nervous about the prospect of paying for a new battery and being taken advantage of. Everyone I talked to at Horne were amazing and understanding. I believe it was Kenneth, the service advisor, who made calls to Honda, calmed me, and even gave my little dog a treat and water. The service center not only replaced the battery, but installed a better one than I had. Being a Honda, it was more work to get to the battery but Horne did not charge any extra for the time it took. I was treated with gentleness, respect and common courtesy. I was not "talked down to" which I appreciated. All this took under an hour even though I did not have an appointment and it was the middle of the day. Of course I would not hesitate to recommend Horne Auto dealership to anyone! Thank you for your professionalism and courtesy. Also they did an amazing job on the car. Even gave it a check up to make sure all was right before I drove back to Tempe. I left relaxed and calm for the three hour drive back home. Thank you Horne Auto. You are the best! read more

Just got one of the remaining 2016 Optima's from Horne last night. Spent about 4 hours in the dealership from meeting the salesperson Ryan, to the sales manager Allan, on to finance with Jarvis and delivery. Smooth, streamlined process between working out #'s to getting out the door. Having been around quite a few dealerships, I was expecting the typical high-pressure tactics that typically prompt me to be generous with criticism and walk out the door, but it was very low-pressure, which my wife and I both appreciated. The internet advertised price of the vehicle was different (lower) from what was shown at first pencil in the store, but that was due to their fine print (contingent upon a # of factors including my credit)--I get it, you have to get people through the doors. Regardless, Allan and team were willing to negotiate a great deal with us that I didn't really expect they could. Overall, a very pleasant buying experience. Shout out specifically to Jarvis Newman for getting us through finance so quickly and out the gate with our new Optima! All of the individuals we interacted with were great representatives of the Kia brand and of their dealership--couldn't have been happier with their professionalism and straight-forwardness. I highly recommend doing business with Horne Kia. Remember that as with any dealership, do your homework before walking through the door. The short, simple and sweet is that the whole process of purchasing a car, financing and trading in my current car was short, simple, and sweet! I traded in a 2014 Kia Optima EX to get my wife a 2017 Kia Sportage EX and it couldn't have gone better. Everyone from the sales manager Justin Privett, to his his sales team, including Ricky and Kyle, to the general manager Josh, were all extremely helpful and accommodating. The negotiation process was smooth and as quick as I have ever dealt with, and as someone that has bought more than a dozen cars over last 20+ years, that's saying a ton. If you want a no hassle, straight up type of experience, then one would behoove themselves to go down to Horne Kia and speak w Justin Privett and see what he can do for you, if it can be done, it will be done. I can't help but think that the majority of negative reviewers in past were simply upset about the fact they didn't drive away in the car they wanted to or didn't get the deal they desired, possibly due to lack of credit worthiness, negotiation prowess, and/or patience and understanding that this is a business and that its all about trying to make a deal that benefits both parties to some degree, but cannot make everyone happy all the time. If you're curious, take a ride down to Horne Kia, ask for Justin-if he's busy, he will direct you to one of his awesome team members-and see for yourself that I am speaking only the truth. read more

Where do I even begin to explain the INCREDIBLE customer service I received from Dave Hughes and Jarvis! You guys are awesome and I will be coming back soon! I called Horne Kia on a Sunday literally when they were closing and instead of being told they were closed and to come back during business hours, Dave and Jarvis stayed opened for me and welcomed me immediately. I didn't feel rushed by them or as if I was taking up their time. They both were very patient and helped me find the perfect car for me! The best part was I went in there already preapproved from my bank with an interested rate of 10% and Jarvis worked his magic and literally made my buying experience even better by beating my interest rate, lowering my term, and lowering my car payments!! For the vehicle I wanted I was looking at $325 per month and he brought it down to $312! My interest rate was at 10% but he brought it down to ONLY 4%! Browsing cars online late one night, I decided to submit an interest form. Haidar Fadlallah contacted me the very next morning by phone and e-mail to confirm the Forte5 I saw was still available, and I met him later that same day for a test drive. He brought me directly to that car and didn't try to upsell me or show me others I wasn't interested in. Haidar spent a lot of time explaining the numerous features packed into this vehicle and answered all my questions. The internet special was already discounted from the sticker price, and he worked his magic to procure a further discount. A few "dealer add-ons" were mandatory, but they covered an Armour All warranty against stains on the upholstery and fading of the paint as well as VIN number etching on the glass to deter theft. I was really impressed with the included 100,000 mile warranty on certified pre-owned Kia vehicles. Michael Jackson handled the final paperwork and explained all the additional optional add-ons without pressuring me to buy them. After paying, I was taken to a beautiful showroom where my new car had been freshly washed, and there was Haidar ready to show me how to use Apple Car Play! Mike Freeland is amazing and should be teaching corporate wide customer service. My service appointment would take about 2 hours and I asked Mike if anyone could run me over to Hobby Lobby and pick me up when my car was finished. In less than 2 minutes I was taken to Hobby Lobby. Mike called me later concerning the service on my car. He called again saying my car would be finished in 10 minutes and that someone was on the way to pick me up. Mike went over all the details concerning the service on my car. He told me that the automotive technician had commented on how well my car was maintained which made me very happy. My Kia Forte is a 2011 and I've never had one single problem with it. I attribute that to taking it to Horne Kia for each and every oil change and all maintenance. Mike carried my bags out and put them in my car and opened my car door for me and thanked me for coming in. I left extremely happy and grateful to Mike. My car was freshly washed and the drive was smooth after getting air in my tires at the appropriate pressure. I had the cabin air filter replaced at Mike's suggestion and I couldn't believe the difference in how quickly the car got cold. Mike Freeland and Horne Kia take great care of you and your car! My first service for 2018 Optima Lx my first time at Horne Kia. I went in person to set up my service appointment. I was immediately noticed about six people ready to help me. Mike was the first to say Welcome to Horne Kia. He was very pleasant, courteous, friendly, attentive to my needs, very detailed oriented and a matter of fact Service Adviser. When we did come in for appointment Mike saw us drive up and he was ready to take down all pertinent info, let me know it is an hour & 15 minutes. He went into detail regarding the exact services and the costs. In the waiting room there is an observation window to see your own car watching what Horne was doing, very transparent, this part was a shock and very impressive. Right on schedule we were met with Mike, when over again, gave us a "YOU STILL HAVE A BRAND NEW CAR." Cashier was right there at check out she was friendly and very quickly we were out the door. Wow we do not know what they did but Mike was right they rotated tires, fluids, 13 point inspection, changed the oil and even washed the car. My recent experience with the Horne Kia service department was, without exaggeration, one of the most disconcerting and unprofessional encounters I have ever had with any business. The level of disorganization, lack of transparency, and disregard for basic customer dignity was astonishing. What troubled me most was the atmosphere created by certain staff members. The manner in which I was addressed and treated left me feeling threatened and racially profiled -- an experience that no individual should ever have to endure in a professional setting. The interaction was not merely discourteous; it was deeply unsettling and wholly unacceptable. Communication was inconsistent, timelines were ignored, and accountability was virtually nonexistent. Despite my efforts to remain patient and cooperative, I was met with behavior that conveyed indifference at best and hostility at worst. I am sharing this not out of spite, but out of a sincere desire to prevent others from encountering the same treatment. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and implements meaningful corrective action. No customer should ever walk away feeling unsafe, disrespected, or marginalized. read more
