    Let's of new games
    Bonni R.

Large casino with several dining options. Servers are almost nonexistent on the casino floor but there are a couple of self serve beverage stations. They have a poker room but it's not very busy - they're lucky to get one table. They have a baccarat area as well as lots of table games. Fun place to play but keep those expectations low.

Damage to a vehicle. A male car, the F into the a car door
    Dawn R.

When parking my car on 6/22 I witnessed a male carve the letter F into a vehicle, parked next to him. When I reported to this to the security department as well as the police, nobody really took me seriously. I would strongly caution anyone parking in this garage.

I typically stay here but the last 2 times were not great. Went up 3-1 for my son's birthday. Checking in the gentlemen was not friendly I have had him before and same attitude. I get to my room the doors are wide open for the balcony a generator was running in my bathroom, a cleaning rag was on the carpet floor. The elevators were dirty, the machines were dirty. Then the next morning it's 930AM housekeeping comes in my room no knock no nothing. I clearly have a do not disturb sign on my door or I haven't even checked out and check out isn't til 11. I am platinum status here but it shouldn't matter everyone should receive great customer service, clean environment, and an enjoyable stay.

    Closet in junior suite

Stayed here when it was Isle of Capri. It's redecorated. They're adding a restaurant. There's a fancy food dispenser that's self serve. Starbucks on the lower floor. We checked in and because the person who booked us for our room prize didn't book us into the right size room, got an upgrade. Yay! Neil at the front desk did that for us as our prize allowed us to book a junior suite room. Came with some credits too so he loaded those. Had self parked in the garage so we went back for our luggage and headed upstairs. The room was not what I considered a 'suite' size but the bathroom was nice. Love the shower stall! Water pressure so good and I love the seat in the shower stall. There's a patio door but no patio. Still nice to be able to open it and let the fresh mountain breeze in. The air outside was cooler than inside so that helped. The casino was nice. A beverage area for self serve drinks. Nicer restrooms. People who work there fluctuate between nice and downright not. The cafe and restaurant not great. We went out to eat. They don't charge parking fees but the resort fee per day of $35 gets you. There's a shuttle stop right out front which is handy. And close to the creek walk. There's a desk with computer and printer and a lovely seating area with a fireplace. Small convenience area with necessities and snacks. We walked to a convenience store a few blocks away to get water and beer. More affordable. I also wasn't happy when I dropped my lipstick and reached under the dresser and touched something squishy. It was a cotton ball along with some other dirt. Obviously the room hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. It was disgusting. I'm not sure if I would stay at this hotel again. The cotton ball and the bad food kinda killed it. And there wasn't enough to overcome those negatives. Nothing special. Nothing special in service either. Took a while to get my rewards card activated. Doing it online didn't complete the process or make it easier. And there's no one to explain that you should combine your winning ticket print outs into one so the cashier was grumpy at me. How am I supposed to know? So while I was glad of the win which allowed me to have a getaway, I don't know if I would have paid to stay.

    Gross.

Really liked staying here but after our last visit will choose different resort. We had a moldy shower and after letting the manager know she had me spending my time email pics. She offer for someone to clean it which should have been done already I'm like give me clorox wipes I'll do it . I then said maybe you should give us a discount for dealing with this but nope paid I full won't be back.

Really love the bathrooms with dual sinks and the water pressure was really good in the showers. The bed was a little lumpy in the rooms we were in and the bed itself was very soft... Some pros and cons from our stay (room 1014): PROS: - the promo included lowest room rate and $20 dining credit per day. A genuinely good deal for the price - the restaurant offers on site are pretty decent, varied, and reasonably priced for BH - staff was 50/50. Literally half were welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly, while the other half was borderline rude or incompetent - the amenities were a nice perk, including a rooftop pool, and two hot tubs (1 indoor 1 outdoor) - the room and bathroom were very spacious with both a shower AND a garden tub - there were public restrooms available in the hallway - the casino floor feels spacious and there is a good variety of slot machines and table games CONS: - Communication in general is very lacking: When we walked into our room there was no literature to showcase on site dining options, WiFi password, or amenities' hours/logistics. The room service menu is not available in the Penn app nor is much information provided about one's stay. We finally found a brochure at the front desk when we went to inquire about where to find a "do not disturb" hang tag (the app live chat was useless for any room information). Room service is upon request only, that info is also not available unless asking a front desk attendant. I requested a Penn play card for gambling, the attendant did not explain how to use it, so it took us two days to realize the card must be inserted in the slots the entire time you play to track usage. You can remove it only AFTER you cash out. - It's extremely frustrating to use the Penn play cards at the machines. We had to constantly try again and again as most readers do not see a card has been inserted. Some machines we completely gave up on... - The room was TIRED (both beds had mattresses which sunk from damage/overuse, both headboards had peeling faux leather behind the pillows, there was random scotch tape on the walls and some holes/dings, the toilet's door jam was coming loose from the wall, bathroom was not extremely clean (heavy dust coating on baseboards, hair on bathroom counter, etc) - Of of 6 elevators to the tower: 4 had broken LCD screens (making it difficult to determine at which level the car would stop), 2 made very concerning cable car noises (we begun avoiding them), all 6 were unsecured (guest key card access on cars was disabled; letting ANY casino patrons access the room floors) - the pool deck has posted adults only hours (daily 7-11pm) however, despite various staff walk through a dozen children were still splashing about at 8:30pm on Friday night - the vending machine on the pool deck was out of service and drinks ordered poolside through the QR code available on tables was not delivered to the pool deck (despite note of location in order) - the ice machine on floor 10 was out of order and no microwave was available in the rooms (or in the vending room) making it impossible to get takeout if one got tired of in house options. A microwave in the vending room would be a great addition - ambient music in the casino was great mid-week throughout until on Friday night at around 8pm it was set to blast and was along with the ambient slots noise it was no longer enjoyable. We left the floor shortly after - wait staff on the casino floor was scarce both on weekdays and weekends. It didn't seem they were circulating much, and when they did come by, they often skipped us (we are not big drinkers, so it was fine for us, but it left us feeling un-welcomed). Interestingly enough, for both drinks I ordered during my stay (handed a $5 bill for tip) I was asked if I wanted any change back :-/ - the floral scent that's pumped through the AC units on the casino floor can quickly become overwhelming and a bit nauseating. I understand casinos do this to cover up odors and have a 'signature scent' however a lighter less floral aroma may be a better choice Overall a good value for us (over low-occupancy days and with a good promotion) and a change of pace for a fun few days away from the hustle and bustle of city living.

Before booking, I called several times to confirm availability and finally got through to someone who told me there were openings at 2:45 and that I could finish the booking online. I completed the reservation online, entered my credit card information, and pressed complete, so I was surprised when I visited today to be told it appeared the booking had not gone through. When we arrived, the spa couldn't find our reservation and explained they'd been having problems with their new booking system. A few staff members even mentioned that other guests had experienced similar issues. My mother-in-law was visiting from Pittsburgh PA, and we had driven over an hour for the appointment, so it was really disappointing. We also ended up having to choose different services than we originally wanted because our massage reservation could not be found. Thankfully, the staff was very kind and did their best. They were able to fit us in for manicure and pedicure instead but a different times. The spa itself was beautiful and relaxing, and we still ended up having a nice experience overall. Shelly, our manicurist, was fantastic. That said, I truly never complain, which is why this was especially disappointing. I really hope management gets the booking issues sorted out soon because it put a damper on what was supposed to be a really special day. I also feel like some kind of gesture or acknowledgment would have been appropriate for the mistake. Overall, the staff and service were great, and if we had received the experience we originally booked, it easily would have been a 5/5.
