I stopped in here and found so many good finds for both of them and price range was decent for both a "nicer" gift and some stocking stuffer type gifts. From candles, candy, socks, self-care goodies, mini treasures, jewelry, clothes... there's definitely something for everyone. The employee also wrapped up my gifts in individual bags (which I bought there, so cute) for me and added tissue paper, tied a little bow to them as well which took a load off my shoulder as I rushed home that day.

I had to quickly grab a housewarming gift for a first visit to a dear friends new house (while my grumbly husband waiting in the car). I knew the perfectly curated store ALWAYS has an impressive array of custom scented candles on their back wall (replete in an artful gift box with box of matches = PERFECT!) So I selected a delicious Olive Blossom & Hyacinth, Amazing! And on the way to the register, passed the "guys" table and found a perfect space-themed puzzle for their young son. I asked the staff if I could get individual gift bags and in a blur of ribbons and smiles, they removed gift prices & I was handed two BEAUTIFUL gifts bags, and informed "The puzzle's in the larger bag." This whole process, I kid you not, took under 5 minutes & the dumbstruck look on my husbands face when I returned to the car in 5 minutes w two perfect gift bags was MY gift! LOL ... Thank You Kanibal & Co.! #Lifesavers

I'll admit, I was nervous to leave NYC's shopping scene behind when I made the move to JC. I was considering living in Hoboken for a while, and Washington St has a ton of really great boutiques. Jersey City? Not so much. There are bars and restaurants as far as the eye can see, but when a gal needs some new clothes a new tapas joint popping up every week just aint gunna cut it. Tia's place is everything that it needs to be. Price points are very reasonable, think similar to Forever 21 or H&M. The clothing selection is stylish and trendy, and if I buy a shirt that goes out of style next season but I get a few good wears out of it I won't feel that bad. They are all stocked up for summer and there was a bountiful selection of maxi dresses and light and flowy chiffon tops when I was in the other day. Tons of cute costume jewelry and tote bags as well. I was hoping that they would have jean shorts but to my dismay there were none. I didn't have my wallet on me but I'll be in again ASAP to buy some cute summer staples.

Necklaces are hanging on tree stands, lingerie is draped on pink chaises, and it just feels like a huge 2 story closet filled with Tory Burch, Rampage, Max and Cleo, Hale Bob, and lots of other designers.

The other employees (who's names I am ashamed to say I didn't get) are equally as talented, knowledgeable and professional. I am so pleased with everything they've done. Thank you Love Locked!!

You'll find the classics: chopsticks, ceramics, Lucky Cat statues, loose leaf teas alongside nostalgic snacks, fans, patterned paper, clothes/ qi paos, purses, and other beautifully designed everyday items. Everything is just so well curated, this is one of the best places to find a gift for someone when you don't know what you're looking for. Some of my favorite things to pick up here: Tiger Balm, lanterns, fans, incense sticks, tea sets, slippers. It's also still family owned and has been in operation for 55 years now (since 1971!). When I got…read morehome and tried everything on, I realized one pair of shorts still had the security tag attached. The shorts also didn't fit, so I drove back to the store hoping to exchange them for a different size. I completely understand that stores have policies, and I respect the no-exchange policy. However, I paid in cash and wasn't informed of that policy at checkout, which made the situation a little confusing. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. Instead of trying to help or understand the issue, the employee I spoke with seemed to assume I wasn't being truthful about where or when I purchased the item. I was told that I may have bought it at another location, even though this was my first time ever visiting the store and I had purchased multiple items that day. The shorts still had the original tag and security device attached, showing they had never been worn. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just hoping to exchange them for a size that fit after having to make an extra trip because the security tag had been left on. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What left a negative impression was feeling talked down to rather than treated like a valued customer. A little understanding and customer service would have gone a long way.
