Come here every year for crawfish season! We like to mix the Cajun with the garlic butter flavor. This time when we went we tried the wings in buffalo/lemon pepper highly recommend. The crawfish were a nice side, and I always recommend dipping the tails directly in the crawfish boil juice at the bottom of the pan OMG really allows the flavor to come out. Service is always good. You just walk up to the tent, place your order, and once your buzzer goes off, you go grab your crawfish.

Only outdoor seating. Seating is kind of shitty - tables are old and the only covered seating was swings.. there was lots of flies too. The food was yummy overall. The sauce didn't really penetrate the crab legs so they didnt have much flavor but the crawfish shrimp and vegetables/potatoes tasted good. The lady at the front desk taking my order added a tip to the total without asking me, which I only noticed when I checked my credit card statement and it was 15% more than the total she told me. I ended up getting bothered by the seating/flies and packed up to finish at home. I liked it but would recommend take out only. Also, they only give you those really big meal prep gloves to eat with so maybe bring your own disposable gloves.

Snow crab legs, crawfish, mussels, corn, sausage - with hot butter

Love this spot! We were looking for a great crawfish boil and found this popup! Things are made fresh and there are so many ways you can enjoy your boil! We opted to build ours since the there was just two of us! We got two clusters of snow crab legs, two pounds of live crawfish, some mussels, corn and sausage. We got spicy butter to flavor it all! It didn't take too long, and I think we were the first ones to arrive. We did grab some margaritas from Tikilas, which they share some space with. It was perfect! We had a few sips and then watched as they boiled the goods. Such a fun atmosphere! The boil was delicious and spicy! The crawfish were decently sized which I think was normal for the time in season. Definitely a great, casual spot for some tasty food! We also loved that they shared the space with Tikilas. The atmosphere was fun but still casual, and being able to eat anywhere between the two spots was pretty cool! Keep and eye on their Instagram for hours each week and fun specials they're running (they were doing steak night when we were there)! A must try!

Unexpectedly found THE spot for steak and crawfish. Who would have known such amazing food could come from a pop up shop inside a bar?? Crawfish was huge, mussels were huge, corn, sausage, and potatoes were all cooked PERFECTLY. The seasoning was not too salty like other places I've tried in Houston. Also, I couldn't stop thinking about the steak after eating it once and had to come back a few weeks later. The steak had a rough outer crust but the inside was buttery soft at medium rare. I think they season the outer crust with curry powder or something which gives it a yellow hue and I'm obsessed with it. Tastes nothing like any other steak I've tried. Can't recommend this place enough!

I was looking for a good seafood boil place in houston and this was one of the more reasonably priced spots so I gave it a try. It's not a full on restaurant in that you can't sit and eat inside but there are two outdoor sections attached to the bar next door (tikilas) where you can enjoy your food. Wish I had taken a pic of the menu but most of the options were $15 or less I believe. We got a pound of shrimp (automatically head off) and a cluster of snow crab legs ($15 each). You have to order corn ($1.50 each) and potatoes ($0.50 each) separately so our order came out to about $40. We got it hot and buttered with the spicy spice level. It took just a few minutes to be ready and boy was it GOOD. The shrimp were very big and they were deveined. The crab had 5 legs and the claw was pre cut for ease of eating. This was just enough food for two ppl to walk away satisfied. The spice level was good to be able to enjoy the whole thing without your moth on fire. There is a water station from the bar next door available in the back patio as well as a jenga set. Would recommend! PS: they have a small lot to park in and I believe they do to go orders. They also give gloves, napkins, and a container for shells

Something simple that should be an easy win. Unfortunately, everything leaned the same direction: either it was heavy, over-sauced, or overly garlicky. It tasted more like dressed-up frozen food than something thoughtfully prepared. And listen...I don't mind indulgent. But there still has to be balance and fresh food. Fresh like it was raw and delivered today, not fresh like fried in the last 15 mins. When everything is coated, covered, and competing, nothing actually stands out. The drinks didn't help either. They leaned hard on alcohol without much flavor behind them--more "this will get you there" than "this tastes good." Nothing was terrible. But nothing made me want another bite, either. And with seafood, that's kind of the whole point. The atmosphere is friendly, great music, and the service was very attentive. Even the presentation wasn't bad. It just wasn't enough. But at some point, you stop asking what's missing and just accept that it's not landing. I was still hungry so I went next door hoping for a better experience. I want to be clear: It's not bad. We went around 6 p.m. on a weekday, and they had a steady flow of business. It's a small restaurant with a small parking lot, but they do have an additional lot across the street. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. Our waiter was also tending the bar. He was incredibly friendly and working hard, but because he seemed to be juggling so much on his own, service was on the slower side. For the appetizer, we ordered the Crispy Fried Oysters & Brussels, and I got the redfish for my entrée. The Brussels sprouts were flash-fried perfectly, and I loved the sweetness of the chili honey glaze. The oysters had a nice crispy coating, but I found them to be a little bland. The redfish, though, was absolutely the star of the meal. I cleaned my plate. It was served with Hoppin' John and a lemon butter sauce. I had never heard of Hoppin' John before, but it's essentially a Southern rice-and-bean dish, and paired with that lemon butter, it was so flavorful. It complemented the fish perfectly.

The dish itself was flavorful. I also tried the scallops and this one was my favorite. It was creamy and cheesy. The scallops were soft and each bite of the rice had some shrimp or crab in it. Service was a bit slow.

When we arrived, the host let us choose where we wanted to sit. I originally spotted a cozy booth by the window, but since we were asked if we'd like to sit where we could watch the TV during the Cup match, we opted for one of the high-top tables instead. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake because there isn't any lighting at the high tables. We could barely see our food. Adding pendant or drop-down lighting above those tables would make a huge difference. If you plan to visit, I'd recommend requesting a regular table or booth for better lighting. The menu is definitely unique, though I found it somewhat limited compared to other seafood restaurants. To start, I ordered the roasted oysters while my friend had a dozen raw oysters with all the traditional fixings. The roasted oysters were delicious, but there was so much topping that it almost took the shine away from the oysters themselves. Next time, I'd ask for lighter toppings and no scallions. For my entrée, I had the Halfshell Grilled Redfish. The fish itself was cooked beautifully--moist, flaky, and perfectly prepared. The only downside was the chermoula, which leaned far too heavily on the citrus. The lemon flavor completely overpowered the fish. As my side, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Unfortunately, it had a distinct burnt taste, which made it seem like the roux had been overcooked. A good gumbo should have a deep, rich flavor, but this one was overshadowed by that burnt note. My friend ordered the Jerk Fish Collars, and we both agreed they would have been much better if the fish had been marinated to allow the jerk seasoning to really penetrate. I also ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, and I have to admit I was surprised when it arrived in such a tiny martini glass, especially considering the price. Overall, the quality of the seafood is evident, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I think a few adjustments to the lighting, better balance in some of the flavors, and more attention to details like the gumbo and cocktail portions would elevate the experience even further. I'd definitely return to try more of the menu and hope for a more polished experience next time.
