The food was fantastic and the service was great. The shrimp salad was huge and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room is noisy when when full![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I had heard Hot Brew was dog friendly so we decided to give it a try today with our dog.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was incredible with her and with us. By far the best service and prices in Humboldt, especially for including dogs. The owner even took the poop bag to throw away for us. We will definitely be back.

As someone who is a scratch cook I can honestly say this % the best breakfast place I have ever been to . Not only does the owner(Cherie) walk around and check in with you , but if you are a fun kind of person she will replicate your attitude back The food is always fresh hot and amazingly delicious . All staff are extremely kind , swift and a wealth of information on the food choices My wife totally loves the Mexican Potatoes and Stuff . I have a special spot for the stuffed French toast - unlike most every other place I have been to across the country the stuffed French toast have the perfect balance of sweetness not to much and not to little . Today I had the Pancake tacos , they are a fun little breakfast food for child and adults alike . Never once have we had a bad experience or meal at Hot Brew Bistro . If you are ever passing thru or live in the area and have not been to Hot Brew Bistro you should stop in for a down home good cooked meal and a great family experience The one and only bad thing is today is our last time coming to Hot Brew Bistro as we moved to South Carolina last year and we were only back visiting for a week . This is our last trip to CA and the lost coast area Thank you for all the great food and wonderful times

Always amazing food!! We absolutely love this place.... Such a great atmosphere and ambiance. The service is top notch. Friendly servers with fun attitudes. And back to the food. The menu is so incredible. It's hard to choose because of so many delicious options. Plus the specials. Last time I was there with a friend they were serving The Pub Burger - a mouthwatering burger with an onion ring on top of the patty filled with pub cheese! C'mon ... that's spectacular! This visit my wife ordered the Spicy Prawn Wrap - wow! That was good Highly recommend Hot Brew Bistro

One half of the breakfast wrap. I almost forgot to take the photo because it was so delicious!

You must eat here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food is amazing, the restaurant is clean, and most dishes are large enough for two.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anything you can imagine is on this menu, and ordinarily that may be a drawback, but not here. Tacos, potato dishes, breakfast wrap, omelets were superb and fresh. Flavors are extraordinary. The staff and owner, will make you feel like you've been friends forever. They are wonderful with a persistent enthusiastic with a positive attitude Accommodating for food issues with a smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the art on the walls too- feel free to purchase some of that local art.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Comfy, family friendly breakfast and lunch spot. We grabbed sandwiches and a salad to go on our way south. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but more than half of them had their masks down or had removed them entirely. The sandwiches were pretty good, but could have been better balanced. The deli sandwich had too much mayo and the veggie one despite a good mixture of ingredients, favored the lettuce heavily. The cobb salad was really tasty, even though the chicken was a bit dry.

Great food and service. The prices were fair. The food came out correct, hot and quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice restaurant with a pleasant owner operator.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were there on a Sunday with a large group and everyone was very accommodating! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A very nice restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They also have several great cocktails and a gourmet coffee bar. I loved it! Locally sourced ingredients and grass fed beef. The biscuits were obviously made from scratch. I'm sorry I didn't grab a pic... I should have, but I couldn't wait to dig in. Also, I should mention that the staff was kind and helpful. Very welcoming. Highly recommend.

It's a smaller place, with just a nice little coffee shop vibe. My server was Abigail. She was very friendly. I asked her if the name of the restaurant was a play on the TV show "Hells kitchen," and she confirmed that yes, it was. I thought it was clever. I decided to have the "vegetable mess. " Potatoes, onions, bell peppers, garlic, mild green chiles and eggs, "all messed up". It came Topped with jack cheese, salsa and sour cream. I had them leave off the bell peppers, and I paid a little bit more for them to add mushrooms and spinach. The "mess" came, and it was huge!! It was also delicious! The eggs were fluffy, you could definitely taste the garlic, and all of the veggies played very well with each other. The cheese was delicious, and it was just the right amount The chilies had a good flavor, and yes, they were mild The potatoes were good, and just the right texture as well. I liked the sour cream, and the salsa was not spicy at all. It had a bit of a smoky flavor. The thing was so huge, I had some to take home. The toast was a good quality sourdough, the coffee was great, and they kept my cup full. The price was reasonable. Thanks for a great breakfast. I will be back.

I wasn't happy about it but I decided to let it slide and hoped the food would make up for it. I was extremely disappointed with the food. My eggs Benny's egg whites were still runny, English muffin absolutely soggy and disgusting, with a thin slice of deli ham. The potatoes (that I wasn't informed or asked if I wanted onions or peppers by the way) were so grease soaked and cold that they were actually inedible. My partner's chicken fried steak was way overcooked, hard and tough. Just all around terrible. TLDR; given the completely wrong drink, food was impossible to get down, and no concern of my uneaten food by the server or owner. Not worth it at all.

I had the "Alliecat's Favorite Toast". It was absolutely delicious. Thick slices of sourdough topped with a smashed avocado, two eggs over-easy, very tasty cherry tomatoes, drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. The room has some really cool farm-type decorations, a hardwood floor, but the tables are far enough apart that you can talk to your guests and not have trouble hearing each other. The last question below was if a staff member requested me to leave a review - she did; however, I always like to share my experiences in case someone else has any questions. A Cozy Coastal Gem with Fantastic Food and Service!…read more We stopped by the Trinidad Bay Eatery and Gallery for an early dinner during our trip. Located in the quaint coastal town of Trinidad, the restaurant is in a beautiful spot with ocean views just a two-minute walk away. The ambiance inside is cozy and welcoming, the staff are friendly, and we were seated after only a short 5-minute wait. The food was absolutely top-notch, and everything came out fresh and flavorful: * Chicken Burger: This came on a ciabatta bread along with coleslaw and the most amazing aioli sauce. It was incredibly juicy, warm, and flavorful. * Clam Chowder & Local Beet Salad: Both of these dishes were outstanding. The clam chowder was rich and comforting. The Local Beet Salad features organic seasonal greens, organic beets, local goat cheese, sunflower seeds, a balsamic reduction, and a citrus vinaigrette--it was top-notch and incredibly fresh. * Kids' Chicken Nuggets: My son got this from the kids' menu, which comes with a side of ranch and a generous portion of crispy fries that he really enjoyed. * Cajun Alfredo Pasta: My daughter ordered the rice pasta version of this dish, which features a creamy Cajun spiced sauce and garden herbs, making it a wonderful, flavorful gluten-free pasta option. * Blackberry Cobbler & Chocolate Ice Cream: For dessert, we shared the cobbler made with Marion blackberries and a sweet cinnamon crumble topping. It was served warm with vanilla bean ice cream melting on top and tasted absolutely amazing. My son also got the chocolate ice cream and he loved it. * Vanilla Latte: We also grabbed a vanilla latte, which was perfectly crafted, smooth, and delicious. Our server, Annie, was incredibly friendly and nice, making our family dinner feel even more special. If you are in the area, this is a wonderful place to stop for great food and a warm, local atmosphere!

The staff at Trinidad Bay Eatery were all exceptionally kind and appeared to genuinely engage with their guests. The atmosphere is exactly what one would hope for in a coastal eatery. The fish and chips were plentiful and the quality and thickness of the fish were unmatched. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich and fries with a California branded malt vinegar. We HIGHLY recommend stopping by!
