    Cheeseburger & Sidewinder fries
    Aurora A.

Met here for a business meeting. Maybe it's because we came at lunch but we were seated immediately and had wonderful service. I see the other reviews outline a different experience so I was pleasantly surprised. We had the special ($6 burger), everything was seasoned well and tasty! Definitely get the sidewinder fries. We heard from locals the fish fry is well worth trying. I would definitely stop here again to grab a meal. Their wraps looked delicious. I would also try the peanut butter burger next time!!

    Bar crowd by our table.

On my way back from the dells and I search of Mexican food, my friend and I stumbled upon Las Milpas located at the back of the Mexican store. They have a vast menu to choose from and you'll be sure to find something you are craving. We ordered chips and guacamole, street tacos and a burrito. Prices are reasonable especially given the portion sizes. The chips came with a side of salads too. It tasted like a roasted salsa or almost marinara like. The guacamole and salsa had a little bit of a warm kick. I opted for the pork burrito. It was pretty good but I wish I'd paid a little more for the carnitas. I prefer the shredded pork vs cubes. Would absolutely go back.

The taqueria is in the back of an unassuming grocery store, but the dining space is actually really large and has a big bar. We shared a margarita and it was pretty good. The glasses they use are super bright and pretty. They brought out chips and salsa to our table and the chips were deliciously warm. The salsa was fantastic - it wasn't chunky but had so much flavor to it and clung to my tortilla chip! I ordered the pastor, carnitas, and asada tacos, and oh my were these some full tacos! No silly filler, just a bunch of meat topped with onion and cilantro. I ordered four tacos but would have been totally full with just three. The menu was pretty extensive, and they even serve breakfast. Any time I'm back in the area I'll definitely stop by. Highly recommend. Staff there was also incredibly nice.

You do get to try up to five tastings of your choice, which was nice since you can double up on a tasting if you really enjoy the taste. Our guide was funny and did a great job providing the information. As far as the cocktails go, I did get a tasty mojito! The cool thing is if you arrive earlier to your tasting, you can bring the drink with during the tour. I love the atmosphere and really enjoyed the tour guide!

I'm not sure when this place was built, but everything felt clean & new and the seating was very comfortable. The menu had a nice variety of entrees, but we were definitely disappointed that they don't offer an appetizer selection for lunch. My husband ordered the jalapeño chicken flatbread and I went with the roasted vegetable risotto with grilled chicken. We both really enjoyed our dishes and did share so we didn't have food envy. It was really kind of them to offer us a complimentary dessert when they found out today was our 25th wedding anniversary; we selected the bread pudding and it was delicious!! Other than not having apps available on the lunch menu, our only other gripe was that it took forever to get our bill and pay.

It was not busy when we arrived for an early dinner, and most of the staff congregated in and around a booth under a TV. You want a refill, more napkins, some parm & red pepper flakes for your pizza, or for dishes to be cleared away? Just look towards that TV and pray your server emerges. If there was a manager, I'd guess that's where they were hiding too. We ordered a hodge-podge of things since this would be our only chance to visit: spicy Hawaiian pizza, quesabirria, lamb lollipops, and charred carrots. The lamb and the quesabirria were the obvious standouts. Leagues above the other two items. They had so much flavor and were a delight to eat. The pizza did not taste like it came out of a wood-fired oven and was very heavy on the cheese (and that's saying something, coming from a couple of Wisconsinites). The carrots were nowhere near charred; the chunks were all vastly different sizes so not all of them were cooked, and they desperately needed that caramelization for depth of flavor.

The hours are very minimal so we want to make sure we got there early. We didn't know how busy this place would be but we came in mid-afternoon and the menu was absolutely appetizing from what they offered I was immediately interested in their sweet and savory barbecue sandwich. My wife got a soup, the staff was very nice in accommodating and professional throughout the entire visit. They checked in on us and make sure we had water, they engaged in conversation with us , and they take pride in their menu. They offered a Pay It Forward program which was pretty cool to see and they even sell some books too. The food here is also very well priced and affordable. Our meals were absolutely delicious and it filled us up for the rest of the day. This place offered a really clean restrooms and his restaurant was really clean.
