Lots of fresh vegetables to choose from. My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant and we will be regulars. They have good sanitary procedures in place, the restaurant is so clean, and comfortable. I don't even know where to start . This was probably the worse service I have ever had . It was the owner that was our server too. The service isn't really that hard pretty much have to to bring drinks and the broth to dip your meats in . It took 20 minutes to bring the broth after waiting 10 minutes or just show up at our table. Please understand I know it's hard to keep employees these days and I sympathize with what she was going through. So I was going to look the other way. After bringing the broths she messed up the order. She argued with me that I was wrong. It's just a broth just bring a new one I don't understand. The biggest problem is we had a vegan with us. She brought beef and pork. And then looked me straight in the eye and said it just has a little pork you can still add the vegetables unbelievable after I explained to that that wasn't go to work . She was upset (probably under a lot of stress ) I even tried to help her out by bringing her my credit card to her counter so she can run the card. Because she was nowhere to be found. After telling her that we just want to pay her bill and get out she took my car place it down on the counter. After another 15 minutes waiting for my card I realize that she left my credit card on the counter for everyone to see. Terrible terrible terrible service. Regarding the food it was your average hot pot place no extra sauces no explanation you really weren't getting the experience. The biggest concern regarding the foods that they had mussels and clams that were not on ice and all the shelves were open very concerning. Didn't mind the idea of sharing one pot that was split. We got the pork flavor and Thai flavor. Pork was a little bland flavor and Thai was more like sweet and sour then spicy. Portions came out really good at first but then they started to bring smaller portions. I was a bit leery about this place with so many bad reviews, but decided to give it a try anyways since the other hot pots are so far from us! When we got there we were greeted by a woman and seated. As we were there the place started filling up. The inside was nice. The seafood seemed fresh to me and was yummy! The broth tasted good, I added more spiciness to mine. The veggies were also fresh and tasted good, as was the meat that we ordered. The lady taking care of us was always friendly, the Thai tea was delicious. It did not disappoint to say the least. The broth was flavorful and the meat were sliced thin which is perfect for hotpot. There is also a vegetable, noodle and seafood station where you can choose more add-ons to your hotpot. We tried the pork and beef broth and it was really good. The reviews here expect too much from a locally-owned restaurant but personally, the owner would come and ask every now and then if we needed anything. Bad customer service. Food choice is limited. Sanitation is worse. Went in and a young lady looked at us, but didn't acknowledged until maybe 3mins. No "welcome," nothing. We got seated, and approached by a young man with notepad and pen in hand to take our order. Our water didn't come with the food so we had to follow up on it. Throughout our time there, the servers did not check on us. It took a while for us to get a new order of the meats. AND I had to walk to the counter to get us water refills! We didn't even bother to ask for more broth. At this point we were Just done with the place. At the end of our meal, my boy friend and I got on our phone and just made it a game to see HOW LONG they would notice that we're done and need our check. I actually didn't time it, but when the older lady finally came and ask if we wanted anything else, we said no and need the check. She then called on the guy behind the counter to check us out. They didn't have a list of our order, and kept asking what drink we got because we had 4 cups.. we kept repeating they were just water. Also- we were seated at the table directly outside the kitchen. So we see all the action that goes on inside the kitchen every time they swing the doors open. We saw the lady grab the slab of meat with her barehand and was waving it around as she talked to somebody (mind you, she was serving and attending to customers outside only a few seconds before this).
