First time here and we were highly disappointed. First, our order was given away and instead of remaking it they called the person to give it back. Even tho he was still in the parking lot, it left the building and should have been automatically remade. My husband ordered the pork chop suey. He ended draining the sauce due to zero flavor and making his own sauce. I ordered the Mongolian beef. As you can see it's 99% onions, no spice or flavor. Service isn't the greatest , they prioritize phone/online orders. The food is okay, the best thing I got was the pepper steak , it had a good flavor to it. Their chilli oil is way to vinegary so it messed up the taste for me. Their orange chicken also has wayyyy to much breading. Should have listened to the reviews on that dish. I've gone to this location which is the original and the one in Phoenix. Both are amazing but I have to say the chow mein at this location was better and the orange chicken at the other one is a lot better but overall they give huge portions. We felt like chinese food, and this place was open on a Monday. My family was disappointed in there meals they wanted the soup so had to eat in. To much breading on the shrimp and the noodles my brother in law ordered were tough. I don't know how noodles can be tough but that's how he described them. They brought home a bowl of orange chicken with white rice for me. I am disappointed that there was no sauce on the chicken just a little bit of orange garnish. I stopped in for the first time this evening. The place was empty, and I've no idea why. The staff member who took my order and brought my food was incredible. He was attentive, polite, and efficient, but he also told a Halloween-related joke every time he came back. It's so nice to have a server who so clearly enjoys their job. I had the sesame chicken. It was crispy on the outside, tender on the ibside, just as it should be. The egg rolls (I had a side order, 2 large rolls) were delicious! The crab Rangoon was one of the best I've eaten. The orange chicken was not cooked all the way the inside was very chewy and the shrimp wasn't cooked. Called the location asked if we can get a refund was told that we can come in. Words can not describe how disappointed I am. My grandma bit into a piece of vegetable and it was molding. Yea, the serving time was relatively quick but that's the only pro. Its probably one of the better ones I've tasted. Compared to Quick Trip, Circle K, and Panda Express. I would rate Yan's Egg roll higher than theirs based on the flavor. Nice and Crispy. The sweet n sour sauce complements it nicely, tangy not too sweet on the sauce. I ordered the Entree, not the combo. I was given White Rice, which I will try next. Not expecting much from that...after a couple bites my expectations were accurate. White Rice is white rice, maybe some soy sauce would jazz it up. Just found a soy sauce packet in the bag, adding it to the rice, stay with me...okay, even with soy sauce rice tastes bland. But Rice to me is just filler food anyhow, on to the main course, the Broccoli Beef ... Looks to be a good portion and balance of both. Not too much or yoo too little of either. Appears hot and fresh, smells good..taste test now....okay they add some mushrooms and sliced carrots in with it. Heat Hot like I mentioned. Everything paired together goes well. We got Singapore noodles & double cooked beef w/ a side of white rice. JUST WOW So delicious! MUST TRY IT! Our favorite dish!! My husband and I had a lunch date and stopped in. This is close to the worst Chinese food I have had in the West Valley. The egg flower soup was so full of corn starch my wife said it was like snot. The fried rice was very greasy. The shrimp in lobster sauce was mostly made with large chunks of peppers and large chunks of onions in a watery sauce that had not even a hint of lobster flavor; there was maybe 7 shrimp in it. Found this place on lunch. Decided to try it and it wasn't that bad but it also wasn't that good. The portions are big for the lunch special which I think is good price. Comes with an entre. Rice or noodle and a soup with an egg roll. All for under 8 bucks. To be honest. The rice tasted a bit burnt and we didn't finish our meal. We decided to take to home and eat it later. The food was cold and not at all what I expected. The portion was small and not quite enough for a child. Employees were not curious and ignored the customers so they could talk amongst themselves. Tried this place about a year ago, didn't like it and never wanted to go back. Tonight I was browsing Uber eats for new Chinese to try and ordered from here not realizing it was the same place. I tried to keep an open mind. I will say it arrived piping hot and fresh which I appreciated. Unfortunately my opinion of the food hasn't changed. The orange chicken is a really odd flavor and the texture is completely off-putting (soft and spongy). The teriyaki chicken wasn't much better. Flavor was just okay and it was absolutely SWIMMING in sauce. Fried rice is pretty good and the spring rolls were actually phenomenal, but without a good entree what's the use. We ended up throwing away entire plates of the chicken, it was just not edible. I will make sure to remember the name of this place so I don't accidentally order here again.. read more

Fairly certain the chicken they served was rancid. It was initially hard to tell as all 3 dishes we had ordered tasted just kind of gross, but it didn't take long for us to realize that it was the chicken itself in all the dishes that had a kind of sour taste popping out through the sauce. One of the only times we have had to throw away an entire meal and go get something else. Can't imagine how a restaurant wouldn't know, more tempted to believe they just didn't care and weren't willing to eat the cost of the food loss. Came in to try new food with the family. We tried the orange chicken, lemon chicken, Peking beef and house chow mein. The lemon chicken was ok, think orange chicken but not sweet, the chow mein was edible. The hot and sour soup was sweet, never had it like that. I think we ate about 1/3 of the food. Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The chow mein was soggy and off putting, everything had this weird after taste, including the drinks. I cannot recommend this place. On this visit we ordered the lunch special, Mongolian Chicken, egg drop soup, fried wonton, and eggroll, we were a little disappointed with our entrée's. The seasoning level was okay, however, the chicken was overcooked and there was just to much onion. Next we tried the Eggrolls and Fried Won Tons, once again those items were just okay. This was a good find for us as we were passing through town. My husband wanted some flavorful but quick food since we had our dog with us. We had seen the sign for Panda Express and were headed towards it when I eyed Yan's. We were very happy that we stopped here. We entered and were greeted kindly. Of course we were the only customers at the time. There were a lot of choices on the menu. They also have a menu on the wall with pictures, which will give you an idea what you are ordering. We were very pleased with our Twice cooked beef, Shrimp Chow Suey, and Deep Fried (battered) Shrimp. We ordered a side of white rice to eat with the Twice cooked beef. The Twice cooked beef was my favorite!. The employees were very friendly up until the time we walked out the door.
