Closed down I never tried it - not sure how long they were open. I have to submit 95 characters so I am not sure what else to say.

It has the 1920s vibe decorations. It is a diner small cozy friendly staff. Food was good. She ordered breakfast. I ordered lunch. We'd like to share. We were delightful , surprised we would stop by next time we drive-through. As a bonus they have souvenirs T-shirts, and cups I would say get one just to remind you of your wonderful diner experience.

Unfortunately, this visit felt more like convenience than cooking. The mashed potatoes, corn, and even the roll have been reheated in a microwave. I also watched a meatloaf dinner taken out of the microwave and then returned into it. I hope it wasnt served later. The country-fried chicken tasted and looked like a frozen, pre-made product rather than something freshly prepared. I say this with confidence as the server/cook just grabbed it out a drawer and threw it in fryer. The gravy had the most flavor on the plate, although it tasted like a standard mix rather than house-made. The rest of the meal was bland and forgettable. The customer service wasn't rude, but it felt robotic--there was very little warmth, personality, or the kind of hospitality that makes a neighborhood diner special. I came hoping for a home-cooked meal and that nostalgic diner charm. Instead, I left wishing more restaurants would bring back the pride, care, and personal touch that once defined the diner experience

The staff was one of the biggest highlights of our visit. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They checked on us often without ever making us feel rushed or interrupted, which is a balance that's surprisingly hard to find. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to the experience. While everything arrived fresh and looked appealing, the flavors were very underwhelming. Most of our meal was bland and lacked the seasoning or depth that would make us want to come back. We kept expecting each bite to have that classic diner comfort-food flavor, but it never quite got there. I genuinely wanted to love this place because the people and the atmosphere were wonderful. With a few improvements to the food, I think Magnolia Diner could be really good. I appreciate the hospitality we received and hope the kitchen finds a way to match the quality of the service.

Fairly modern construction. Decorated in vintage movie posters clean and in good repair. Prompt and friendly service. The food was all good, freshly made. The onion rings stood out with slightly crunchy onions. I ordered the Reuben. Which is corned beef, Sauerkraut, and melted swiss cheese on rye. Excellent. Overall, this is a solid choice if you want to time teavel to a Diner with retro food.

What a great idea; my wife and I each opted for cheeseburgers I had french fries she had onion rings, both the fries and an onion rings are hand battered. my wife and I agreed that these are possibly the best hamburgers we have had in at least a year and a half. I'm not sure where they get their hamburger buns, but they are fantastic. Upon leaving the restaurant, we found out that my wife and the manager have common ties to Brenham in terms of having common friends in the BISD school district. The theme of the restaurant definitely teeters on the Texas A&M mystique; me being a so called Tea Sipper(University of Texas alum) I took it all in stride because I know of the Aggie traditions. Lots of artwork in the restaurant as well as on exterior walls, reflecting the Aggie culture; we will definitely keep this place in mind when we travel back-and-forth from the Port Bolivar Peninsula.
