Very nice stay! For the money it is a great place to stay. The rooms were modern, clean and full of nice features. They staff was friendly and helpful. The Pros: Clean & comfortable Roomy TV in the mirror and other features 2 person shower Nice TV Comfortable bed with pillow options Eating options in or near the hotel The Cons: 1 person tub - a 2 person would have been a nice option You have to ask for a fridge You have to ask for a dvd Scenery out the window- not so nice! Call the hotel directly to book and get a better rate! We had a room with a roof view and didn't mind in the least. If you want a view you will pay more. We had no issues with noise and there were two weddings during the weekend we stayed. There was also major street road construction very close to the hotel and we heard none of it. Staff is super friendly. Have to request ice from the front desk, although they bring it to the room quickly, so just be prepared for this. Clean, comfortable, great night sleep. Hated the parking. It was weird; walking from the parking ramp into the hotel required us to walk past the ballroom and past the wedding guests...awkward. If there was another entrance I didn't see it. Recently had the pleasure to stay at the Arista on business. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with the level of excellence at this hotel - from customer service to the room decor. Everything is topnotch and perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated with modern, high-end fixtures. The rooms are extremely spacious and the bathrooms have beautiful tubs and walk-in showers. My favorite part of the bathroom was the embedded TV in the mirror, making it easy to watch the morning news while getting ready in the morning. Super nice touch! The customer service is excellent. The ladies at the front desk were helpful, efficient and extremely friendly. The bellhop who helped me to my room also gave me the lowdown about the area. I never knew that suburban Chicago was home to so many large companies. The rooms were expertly cleaned and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay at the Arista again for business or pleasure. See you next time, Hotel Arista. Next time, I'll stay longer just to enjoy the hotel. read more

My husband and I wanted a little escape from the city and decided to come out here last Friday night for a suburban staycation. Location/view, there is really nothing around it. It is in an office park. But we were just concerned with the hotel itself. There is free parking in the garage behind the hotel. Once you exit the garage towards the lobby you walk through an area that is used for cocktail hours etc. It looked like a wedding party was planned for the evening we were there. I didn't mind this but I would have if it was my event. People traipsing through with their bags, talking, in jeans or whatever else. The lobby is a nice relaxing area with a few couches, some water and several papers to choose from. Check in was pleasant. They don't give too much information about the hotel and amenities but we didn't need it. Now what we came for, the rooms! The room was great, large Kind size bed, a chaise near the bed for sitting/reading, a small round table with 2 chairs. A mini fridge in the room. Coffee Maker which we didn't figure out until it was too late (hidden in a cabinet). a nice large screen TV. I also love that there are little reading lights at the side of each bed. The bathroom is fantastic, its big, has a large soaking tub, a separate stand up shower (also nice size) and the toilet is behind another door which is also nice. There is a TV embedded in the mirror. All and all a great room. The window to the bathroom from the room is frosted so not ideal for light sleepers like myself. Luckily my husband didn't have to get up in the middle of the night. There should be a shade or something on that. While we didn't need the staff much, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again when we are looking for a quiet retreat. I truly felt pampered here as I stayed with my wife for our 1 year anniversary. The staff, the facilities, the rooms and the attention to detail at a great price makes this hotel the best I have ever stayed at. I would recommended staying here even for a short stay-cation. I was not an overnight guest, but attended an event there. Very nice public areas. very friendly and attentive staff. Function Food was surprisingly good. Strange layout. To get to the lobby from the parking lot, you have to pass through the very small vestibule of the ballroom. This makes it very uncomfortable for entering the facility during an event and from the looks we were getting from the wedding party holding their event there, very irritating for the participants in functions held there. read more

Beware, the hotel has no housekeeping services. This information was not disclosed when I booked the hotel. I was told when I checked in there was no housekeeping. Really, this does not sound like a luxury hotel. After expressing my shock I was told there was no standard housekeeping services due to Covid-19 precautions but I could request services when I was going to be out of the room for several hours. The next day when I was leaving for a few hours I notified the front desk and the employee stated I was given the wrong information and only guest that stay 3 days or more get housekeeping. I won't go into all the details but I also noticed other areas and trash cans were not cleaned throughout the building. Parking is limited unless you want to use the parking garage which is not directly connected to the hotel and no security. Just walk fast if you have to use the garage at night. The room itself was nice if you are ok with not knowing whether the room was cleaned due to their housekeeping issues. Last time I will ever stay here. So disappointed in my experience. read more

We stayed here tonight's and had a great stay. My wife and I wanted adjoining rooms with our teenage granddaughters and needed to reserve one suite to get an adjoining room. The rooms were nicely decorated although a bit warn. Every one of the staff was extremely helpful courteous and pleasant. I've wanted to stay at the Hotel Arista for years after spotting it off I-88 and hearing so many wonderful things. So, I booked a random Friday night stay for a little "Me" time. When arriving in the parking garage I was a little confused as exactly where to go and if I was able to avoid going outside, there was very little signage. Upon walking beside the hotel to get to the front desk I did see where I would be able to get from the garage to the front desk but that would mean I would be barging in on an event, and of course I didn't want to do that. Just a little confusion to start things off! My check in process was quick and easy, the staff was exceptionally friendly. I asked if I would be able to check out at noon instead of 11am and they said the best they could do would be a "courtesy" 11:30am late check out, which was fine. Hey, I get it. It's a very large hotel with lots of guests coming for a Saturday stay, it's understandable! Upon entering my room I was blown away by the size and the style of the room, it was beautiful! On the tv was a personalized welcome note, which was a very nice touch. I LOVED that it had a soaking tub and there was even TWO robes...very unlike most hotels. The in-mirror tv was a really cool feature with watching morning news while getting ready. The room itself was very large, plenty of space, and stylish details. The bathroom was also very large, I really liked the separate space for the shower and toilet. The shower had lack-luster water pressure but overall it wasn't bad. The bed was firm but still comfy. However I have to say the pillows were fantastic! I wish I took advantage of the pillow menu. Around 11pm there were a bunch of people being loud outside the room (or maybe it was noise coming from the vents?) but it wasn't horrible. Weddings and events happen often there, so it happens! The reason I took off one star was the meh room service dinner I had. I ordered the baked onion soup and skirt steak sandwich. The soup was cold and bland but the cheese curds made up for it. The sandwich meat also was not warm and tough to eat (granted skirt steak does tend to be tough, I know). But overall it was edible. However! Room service redeemed itself with a fabulous breakfast. I ordered the french toast with bacon and a pot of Lavazza coffee (the room coffee didn't look appetizing) and not only did it come VERY quick, but everything was piping hot and there was plenty of food. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and I always appreciate excellent service! Check out was equally easy and the front desk woman was soooo smiley and friendly, it really brought a smile to my face when I left. Overall it was a great experience! I hope Arista will up its room service food because then it would be near perfect! Sure it's a little pricey but worth a splurge every now and then! read more

Stayed here last month . The positives were the gym , the modern rooms and the nice staff . Super location , close to highway and not too far from many restaurants and shops . The only negative was a big one . Dried up urine drips on the bathroom floor , by the toilet . Didn't notice until I was standing on them in my bare socks - yuk . Utterly disgusting . I told them about it in my comments about my stay , but they either didn't care enough to respond or try to make things right . Oh well , plenty of other places to stay in the area . It's a shame that the cleanliness does not match up to the rest of the hotel . If that detail was missed , I can only imagine the cleanliness of the things you don't see . read more

Do not go to the Arista. They charged my debit card $500 after my 1 night stay which was more than my room. They claimed I smoked in the room. I do not even smoke nor have I ever in my lifetime. They claimed the maid staff (which does not speak english) smelled smoke after I left. I had called the Arista management to resolve the issue and identified that I had stayed at the hotel many times before and I am not a smoker and their maid staff clearly errored. Jonathan refused to return my money that they charger without authorization and then actually threatened me if I were to give a bad review after my experience. I could not believe they are in the hospitality business. It felt invasive to give someone my personal bank card and then because they decided to charge a $500 fine more totaling more than $750 for a room for 1 night that they should be held accountable for a crime. It is a crime to charge people's card without authorization!!!! The maids are immigrants and I asked if it was possible they made a mistake and to return the money they were not authorized to charge to my card. Jonathan the manager refused. So it was the most expensive 1 night stay in Naperville/Warrenville I've ever paid for. Worse yet they called me a LIAR. As a customer and a person I take my character very seriously to have them accuse me of smoking when I do not and they have illegal immigrants for the room service is quite hippocritical. read more

I was in town as assistant conductor with the Chicago Sinfonietta and stayed at Hotel Arista the entire time I was there. The level of hospitality I received from the staff was UNBELIEVABLE! The facilities and room were all top notched! I have been thoroughly impressed with the hotel and everything it has to offer. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was extremely comfortable in an unfamiliar area at all times. They provided services for me that help me to get back in fourth from the hotel to the Route 59 train station daily, brought needed items to my room upon request, helped me to find some of the best food locally, accommodated my travels plans that needed to be altered upon my check-in, and much much more! I was really impressed with the level hospitality I received. The entire staff learned my full name and went out of their way to greet me each time I entered or exited the hotel. One of the employee's, "Dee" as I knew him, was exceptionally helpful in helping me to connect to business and entertainment districts around Naperville, IL. There was so much right about the way this hotel does business that I will definitely go out of my way to ensure the next time I'm in the Chicago, IL. Area, I will ONLY do business with you! You can rest assure that your hotel and its staff will get the highest recommendation from me as I tell others about how wonderful my experience was. I was attending a wedding that was in the hotel so I decided to book my stay here as well. The staff and service at the hotel and restaurants is world class! Everyone is friendly and considerate. The room I stayed in was great! I loved having a huge tub and the mirror tv was great while getting ready. The toiletries provided were fairly standard but there were some nice extras like a bath sponge in the shower and cotton swabs/cotton balls on the vanity. The coffee shop, LavAzza had a lot of coffee options and all were well made. During my stay, I opted to "go green" and not have all towels/linens replaced and received a $5 gift card to use at the coffee shop. I also had the opportunity to dine at Che Figata and it was amazing! I had the Burrata Salad which was perfection! The hotel is super close to downtown Naperville and the Riverwalk so there's dining, shopping, and plenty to do in the area. There are also several breakfast/brunch options close by. The only regret I have is that I'm not staying longer! read more

We did the romance package which included a bottle of wine, a fun cheese, cracker, and nut tray, a $30 credit for breakfast and 2 pm checkout. If you're looking for a high-end, classy, and modern, yet affordable venue for your wedding, this is the place . . . We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Arista this past weekend, and my wife and I could not have been more ecstatic and pleased. From our brilliant event coordinator Molly to the extremely helpful staff, this hotel was high-class through and through. The staff made every accommodation for all of our (roughly 60) guests who were staying the weekend there -- printed driving directions to the salons for the ladies, reserved tee times for the boys, and offered umbrellas for our outdoor wedding photos . Every single guest at the wedding (150) was blown away by their very upscale attention to detail and beautiful ballroom. Our chef was absolutely brilliant -- not one guest complained about their meal. In fact, almost everyone said it was the best wedding meal they have ever had, and I would have to agree, not just because I was the groom. (I highly recommend the Roasted Red Pepper Soup with Crab Meat as your starter -- it'll knock your socks off!) Lastly, for such quality and great service, you will never find a more affordable place than this hotel. Yeah . . . it's about 40 minutes outside of the city, but trust me, you're never gonna find a better place for price and high-end quality than the Hotel Arista. read more

My wife and I booked a one night getaway for our ten year anniversary and chose Hotel Arista because it has one the Best in Naperville award since 2009. We booked a Gran Luxe Suite for the view and the big soaker tub plus the early check in at noon. The agent at reservations suggested that we get get a DVD player in the room at no charge so we can rent movies so we did and I was told it would be waiting for us. The day of check-in our first impressions were very good, the hotel and room were beautiful, the staff was very welcoming but then it started to go down from there. The first thing I noticed was no DVD player so had to call and was told it would be right up (10-15 mins later). We were getting ready to go out for the day so I turned on the shower and the shower head was busted, the water basically flowed straight down. I informed the hotel staff and was told they would have it fixed for us once we got back. Once we returned the shower was fixed and I started to hook up the DVD player (it was just handed to me by the engineer, after trying to get it to work in the bedroom I called the front desk and was told it can only be plugged in the main room (this doesn't make sense as we wanted to lay in bed and watch the movie). So we moved to the couch, hooked up the player and started the movie. The next issues was the sound, we could not hear the movie so another call to the front desk, an engineer was sent, he then left to get a new cord and almost 90 minutes later we were watching the movie. To toss more fuel on this I had to stand next to the TV's in order to get the remotes to work and we had some channels in one room but no the other (eg HGTV, Food Network among others were unavailable in the bedroom but we could watch in the main room) the bathroom TV being limited on available channels as well. The other thing The next morning I noticed there was red mold in the lower left hand corner of the shower and given the fact that the shower head was obviously broken it lead me to wonder if housekeeping cleaned the shower at all as the broken head would have been hard to miss. I later attempted to view my bill on the TV but could not get the box to get to the actual billing screen so we went to the lobby and reported this to the front desk. The agent went in the back to tell the manager and returned with an offer for a comped breakfast at Sugar Toad but could not do this as we needed to be back home due to child care issues so she took off the 30 dollar early check in fee. All in all the experience was frustrating at best as our expectations were very high considering the caliber and money we spent for the upgraded room and we found ourselves upset that we didn't spend less money somewhere else. These issues and the fact that the manager didn't even bother to come out of the office to apologize personally we will not book with Aristra again and cannot recommend others stay at Hotel Arista, given the multiple choice of great hotels in the Chicago area. read more

We had our wedding here on 5/13/17. Katie is the best. She is so timely, professional, and you can totally entrust her with all the little details on your big day. We felt like royalty during our reception as the catering staff were so on point. If I wanted the lights down, done! If I wanted the temp up, check! Another drink, no problem! We managed to transform the entire contemporary ballroom into an enchanted forest and I couldn't have been more happy!! The guests gave rave reviews and the rooms, of course, were so cleanly, conemporary, and beautiful! read more

There were quirky little tags and labels on the menus and rocks glasses. Free shuttle within a 5 mile radius and the driver was so personable and nice! Stayed at this hotel for a weekend. Staff was super friendly. Got in the room and it was clean and beautiful! We went out for the evening and came back to our room about 10:30. There was a wedding going on right under our room!! All we heard for hours was the thumping of music!! Finally after all that stopped I thought there would be peace... but no!! All of the wedding guests then spilled out into the halls, yelling and running around!! I'm sure this is a great hotel during the week, but I wouldn't recommend on a weekend! read more

This is our second time staying at this hotel and again it was a big failure mainly because of the staffs that work there. Surprisingly though we have indicated in the reservation notes that we were celebrating our 5th Year Anniversary, no one cared to even greet us about this or even ask if we need assistance. The manager has still yet to call me back and we have already checked out two days ago. This was such a waste of our time and though the hotel has a modern upscale appeal, the negative attitude of the staffs will push you away from staying here. Also, if you're looking for any recreations don't expect a pool because they just don't have it. And if you wish to have a view, then don't be surprised that you'll be looking at empty lots on one side and a parking lot on the other side. Their restaurant despite being expensive, the quality of food is mediocre and the portion size is too tiny. You're better off ordering a pizza elsewhere that is if there are any other restaurants around which there are none (a complete monopoly). Again don't let the pictures fool you because the staffs and the surrounding vicinity will make you ask for a refund. So many things can be improved starting with 1. their customer service, 2. up keeping of surrounding grounds, 3. better ammenities such as a pool. There are literally no establishments around, not even any other restaurants aside from the super expensive restaurant they have on site. read more

After leaving my review and the GM not calling me back they respond to another sites review and Kelly asks me to call her why she doesn't call me i don't know. So I do and she doesn't call me back. I've stayed at 1 star hotels and 5 star hotels and i have never seen bad management as i have in Hotel Arista. Please don't stay here i made that mistake once and it wont happen again. read more

My professional group of 15 people stayed here for an Exec retreat. I cannot sing enough praise for the amazing staff, incredible food (for the group and at the restaurant) and overall exceptional customer service. Will definitely add this one to our FF list. I live in Downers Grove and didn't know this place existed. Will be back and want to have a starvation there with my hubby: beautiful hotel, spa service, nice gym and fit for foodie restaurant. First off We did not stay overnight in the hotel, but we did attend a beautiful wedding reception and I was incredibly impressed. Gorgeous room with these super cool fringe lights (can't even describe them, but they were awesome). The whole place was beautiful and really trendy. The waitstaff was attentive and the bartenders were not at all shy with the cocktails :) Cocktail hour and dinner was very good especially the filet & roasted red pepper soup yummy. Hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at for the price. I had originally booked Courtyard by Marriott just down the road but when Marriott did the bait and switch I found this place. When you consider I got this hotel and a free upgrade upon arrival for less than The Courtyard by Marriott Theres just no comparison. Room was amazing, service great and food in restaurant top notch as well. I can't imagine there's a better hotel in the area for the price. We stayed in a suite with our dog. Pros: large suite with entry hallway, 3 TVs (bedroom, living room, bathroom), totally separate living room, large soaking tub and large shower, nice built-in cabinetry, very friendly front desk staff who allowed us to check in early. Cons: smoke detector directly above the bed has two green LEDs that flash constantly and light up the entire bed, no in-room coffee maker, living room tables have seen better days, noise from other guests in the hallway kept us awake, no "special treat" for our dog in the room when we arrived, change ($0.12) laying on the floor in the bedroom, making me wonder how well they cleaned the room, $50/night additional charge for a small (6lbs.) dog. read more

Stayed here in a corner suite for a wedding reception and was very impressed. I would have to say this hotel is one of the nicest we have ever stayed at period. Great amenities, very spacious, and overall very comfortable. Being a green hotel, the light switch when leaving the room to turn off everything was convenient, but having to request ice to be brought to your room felt a little over the top. My wife and I are lucky enough to have grandma available to watch the kids every once in a while on the weekends, and when we do, we try and stay somewhere nice in the western/northern suburbs of Chicago. We've stayed at several places, and this is definitely at the top of our list. The staff, from check-in, until departure, was probably the friendliest I've ever dealt with. We loved the decor of our room... contemporary, yet comfortable. The bathroom is amazing, comprised mostly of frosted glass and white granite, with a separate toilet area, shower, a bathtub and of course the infamous TV in the mirror. Even the hallways are cool, with square LED lights toward the bottom of the walls to help light the way. When your elevator door opens on your floor, you are greeted with a setup of ice water with lemons. Just a great touch. It's the little things sometimes, ya know?! Speaking of little things, after we returned from dinner, there was "turnover" service in our room where the TV was on with a constant video of a fireplace. If that's not your thing, turn one channel down and you get a constant video of a waterfall. Hope you didn't drink too much. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star rating, is simply the location. It's in a business park. Unless you want to eat and drink in the hotel restaurant (see my other review), there's not much to do within several miles. And the view from our 10 floor room was of.. well, business buildings. By no means would that make us not stay here again, we understand we are in the western suburbs of Chicago, probably one of the least exciting places to be. The Schaumburg Renaissance is what I'd compare this hotel to the most, and while they do have the advantage of being much closer to many more restaurants and shopping, the style/decor of the rooms and the fantastic staff of this hotel sets this place apart. I slept better here than I have slept anywhere in years. No kidding - better than at home! The hotel itself is better than the W City Center for sure, but also better than most hotels. I used the gym (top 5% of hotel gyms I have used), the restaurant (top 5%), room service (above average, but something very weird was going on with bread and bun - hard as rocks but I know if I had mentioned it, they would have fixed it so no points off and I don't eat bread). They arranged a car for me that was far more professional than even most car services. The only slightly weird thing was that the room got cleaned around 6pm - kind of in time to get back from work and want to shower, but I went to the gym so it didn't matter. What is this place doing out here anyway?! I suspect the owner is a hotelier in the making! And I will say I stayed at their first hotel back when. read more
