This place is a complete hell hole. The night manager, who I spoke with BEFORE coming to the hotel confirmed my reservation. When we got there though he showed me a list of names supposedly containing a list of all guests (total PII offense) and asked me to find my name. I told him we just spoke and instead showed him my Booking reservation. Instead of acknowledging my reservation he angrily slide the key across the desk and said our room number. I was taken aback, he didn't even ask how many keys, and the key was already programmed with our room number so he obviously was expecting us. We got to our room, which smelled of cigarette smoke, and about an hour later I called to complain about the smell and asked why he pretended like we didn't have a reservation. He yelled at me and finally hung up. I felt unsafe so we left the hotel and checked in elsewhere. I angrily called him back demanding a refund. He was totally rude and obnoxious. Claimed his name was "Joe" and his manager is "Frank". Don't go here, or at least if you absolutely must don't be last to check in. Felt like a total shakedown. read more

Came here for what was supposed to be a fun weekend getaway with my wife to see Sensorio. Instead, we got a masterclass in how not to run a hotel. The moment we walked in to check in, the guy behind the front desk immediately started pitching another hotel down the street--cheaper, newer, better--while we're literally standing there to check in. Incredible strategy. Truly bold. Check-in took about 30 seconds because... there was nothing to it. No paperwork. No explanation of the room. No info about cleaning, amenities, or even the WiFi. Just keys handed over like, "Good luck out there." Later that night, around 12:30 AM, we were woken up by screaming, banging, and drunk chaos. Turns out a group of drunk kids forgot their keys, scaled the building, and broke into their room through the balcony--on the SECOND FLOOR. Now here's where it gets insane: the balcony doors do not lock. Ours didn't. At all. So after realizing: Drunk strangers can climb into rooms Our door doesn't lock Front desk clearly does not care We packed up and left at 1 AM and drove three hours home, because staying there felt legitimately unsafe and there was no chance of sleeping. The next day, we called--not to demand anything--but to let them know the door didn't lock so they could fix it for future guests. The guy on the phone was an absolute jerk. Rushed us, kept asking "what do you want," and acted like we were wasting his time. Buddy, we were trying to do YOUR JOB for you. After reading other reviews, the pattern is obvious: the front desk staff is the common denominator. Rude, dismissive, careless, and completely unconcerned with guest safety. ZERO stars is still an understatement!! I just got off the phone w/ the deeply problematic front desk person/manager and WOW, is he a doozy. My husband & I left early, at 12:30AM after I called 911 when we were awoken by a woman SCREAMING b/c someone was breaking into her room via the exterior patio door. Two cops showed up immediately, & quickly found 3 drunkards profusely apologizing for losing their key (no 24/7 desk attendant). Apparently one banged on the door in an attempt to wake their friend inside while the others scaled the wall outside and broke in via the unlocked patio door which awoke the friend to screams - and the rest of the hotel. ... Now I understand this could (possibly?) happen elsewhere. But we then realized our patio door (also) couldn't lock. And since there was no one at the front desk at midnight, we were out of luck. The manager dismissed my concerns on the phone this afternoon, continually interrupted me, asked me to call back later, get to the point, why didn't I do this or that, and despite me asking him to allow me to finish several times, refused to do so. Tiny boutique hotel in Paso Robles, less than 5 minutes from downtown & half the price. I had zero expectations when I booked this place because we just needed a place to sleep and break our drive up north. 5 minutes to the shops & eateries downtown 10 minutes to Sensorio We got 2 rooms on the 1st floor. I love that parking is directly outside your door for the ease of unloading & loading. Nothing fancy but spacious, clean, & comfortable. Their A/C worked great to keep us cool in the 100 degree weather. There is an in unit TV, mini fridge, and microwave. The restroom was huge - shampoo, conditioner, & body wash provided. The towels were clean. The beds were actually very comfortable. Check in process was a breeze & the gentleman working the front was kind enough to give us a late check out so we can rest a little more. Over all, great bang for your buck. Not a 4-5 star hotel but it's got everything you need for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. Highly recommend. read more

Beds are pillow top , kohler tub in bathroom & the rooms have coffee makers , microwave & a decent size refrigerator. The location is quiet & convenient. We would stay again. read more

Stayed at Hotel Siri recently. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. I especially liked the second-floor balcony--it's a nice touch. That said, the hotel is about a mile from downtown Paso Robles, so it's not really "downtown" and not the most walkable to shops or restaurants. Another downside: there's no breakfast offered, and the vending machine was almost empty during my visit. Overall, it's a decent option if you don't mind driving for food or essentials. NEVER STAY HERE!!! I've made the bad decision of trying this place for a 2nd time. Once I entered the room none of the electrical outlets worked. This meant the TV, mini fridge, microwave, lamps were working. I asked the front desk manager for assistance. His response was, "I'm not an electrician and there are so many fuses and breakers I wouldnt know where to begin." I asked for a refund because they had no rooms left. He said sure, but you'll need to ask Booking.com. I did, they sent him an email to respond. I left and went to another hotel. He then Sent them a response refusing to refund me. My first experience was a flooded room where rhe carpets were soaked and you could tell they had been trying to air dry them. I later found out it was because of the shower not draining and overflowing onto the carpet. This place is a dirty pig with lipstick thrown on it. Let's talk about Siri. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? This hotel must be modern & hi-tech, right? WRONG-Wrong-wrong. I'll give them credit for having plug-in electric car chargers, but everything else is basic. I'll give the owner & manager the benefit of the doubt and say this hotel is 'a work in progress'. I got my rate at $125 for one night. Maybe because there was this musty odor around the sink area. Good thing I brought candles to rid of that smell. I just want to say 'The pillows are too damn high', not the rent, the pillows. I didn't get a good nights rest since all 6 pillows were high. Yes, I was in a double room and not one single flat pillow for this stomach/side sleeper. I woke up with a sore neck. Positives: Plenty of space, a closet with wooden hangers, an iron, ironing board and a luggage rack. What I loved was the huge counter space in the sink area which is separate from the shower and the toilet. It's nice to just spread out your skincare and your makeup. My room also had a TV with the remote that was easy to use, a desk and a chair, a side chair with a small coffee table. I also had a fridge, microwave and a coffee area that I did not use, but I really liked all the amenities. It's rare where I will stay in a hotel and there's a microwave to heat up leftovers. It was nice to keep my leftovers cool. Location: this hotel is on the corner of Spring Street and 24th Ave. basically highway 46/41. You are within walking distance of Rite Aid and a gas station.. in case you were not aware Spring Street was the original 101. Keep in mind check in time of 3 PM on a weekday is the same time the school lets out directly across from the Rite Aid. Traffic can get a little bit congested and it's hard to make a left. Turning onto the hotel parking lot if you're coming from Spring Street. Once you leave the hotel parking lot and you make a left go down the hill over the overpass past Riverside Avenue and you'll see Margie's diner to your left and Starbucks if you want something to eat that's close to the 101 freeway. Check in was easy as staff was sitting at the reception desk. Check out wasn't too bad. Just the manager was going back-and-forth between the office and assisting the cleaning staff. He was putting in his steps for the day. Suggestion : Offer make up wipes and black washcloths for Guests. I bring my own, but it's nice to just have a disposable make up remover wipes sitting next to the shower cap. Nice and clean. Big room with mini fridge. No fitted sheet on the bed. So if you toss and turn in your sleep you will end up sleeping on the mattress pad. Beds are comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the noise. Our room was located on the bottom floor next to the stairs and on a Friday night it was extremely loud all night. Beware: Rude Staff & Deposit Nightmare You walk into a hotel after a long trip, looking forward to rest before starting your vacation in Paso Robles. Instead, you are met by a man so illogical and hostile that he suddenly demands $200 in cash instead of simply placing a hold on the credit card on file. When we refused, he eventually placed the hold on the credit card and then tore the receipt in our faces. Not exactly a warm welcome, and certainly not the policy you'd expect from a hospitality professional. Sadly, this does not seem to be an isolated incident -- after reading other reviews, we found similar complaints from past guests. On top of that, our room was missing basic amenities such as shampoo and soap for several days. When I attempted to give feedback directly before leaving, the same receptionist responded with the same rudeness and lack of care. This hotel completely failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism, service, and hospitality. Third-party booking platforms should not partner with properties that treat guests this way. I expect them to review this complaint and take action to protect future customers. The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce should also counsel this man, because he is a poor ambassador for the region's tourism. read more

Was interested in booking this place late at night as this is the time we were passing by & feeling tired. Found them online via travel websites. Before booking there, we passed by the hotel. We stopped to ask about availability. Since it was late at night....around 11pm...the doors were closed with a sign instructing people checking in late to call the phone number shown on the paper. We called it hoping to get info on availability & pricing. Had to call twice since no one answered the 1st time. I scheduled our room about 3 weeks before our concert.... Mid state fair, BUSY, totally understandable. I called, booked our room... got a confirmation and everything. The day we were supposed to check in... a man (rude man at that) leaves a voicemail saying they over booked we don't have a room... I called back, he's like well we left the website on so we can't accommodate you. I'm like well we are on our way, it's my husband's birthday.. is there anything you can do? He just says no... I am telling him I'm frustrated, crying, he's the man I booked with, why am I the one getting canceled? All of our friends are staying as well! Couple of minor "blahs": - shower pressure was low. - shower curtain was shorter than the tub so water drenched the floor every time we showered. However , our stay was pretty descent in quality. The hotel was located little far from city / restaurant area , which was located in the middle of public storage area . :( The front desk , Norman , was very helpful and friendly , and the room was pretty clean , quiet environment . However , the bed was pretty bad ( way too soft and kind of caved in ) , the pillow was too small , so we did not have a good sleep . Do not stay here. I am still trying to cancel my reservation for this hotel that I did not check into. An employee called me a few hours before check-in and told me I would need to bring $200 in cash as a security deposit. That's high for a deposit, but more importantly, the security deposit should not be cash. The property listing states that the hotel does not accept cash. I was not asked for cash until it was too late to cancel and find a new hotel. After that, I was suspicious and did not want to leave my credit card with this hotel, so I called Hotels.com and asked to change hotels. Even though I had paid them in full upon booking, Hotels.com still has not given me a refund. I got the runaround from several reps who promised me that it would be taken care of as soon as the hotel manager responded to their calls. The manager was not picking up the phone. In the meantime, I had to book a second room so my friends and I would have a place to stay, as we were already on the road. It's a 6-hour drive for us. I started this on Friday and it is now Tuesday. It's still not resolved. This is ruining my vacation and my credit. read more

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, even if it costs more. Local Alternative: The nearby Adelaide Inn and Best Western Plus Black Oak are decent and likely cheaper options. My wife and I booked a stay here with some friends for a Saturday night, months in advance. We were planning on doing some wine tasting and then going to a show at one of the local venues. Had non-refundable reservations at some tasting rooms and restaraunts along with our tickets to the show. The saturday morning of our booking we get a call from Hotel Siri saying that they had double booked us and they would not be able to provide our rooms. They assured us that the charge would be removed from our card as they could not provide us a place to stay. I was going to try to get them to provide us with some sort of compensation for pulling the rug out from under us at the last possible moment but it was clear they were very disorganized over there and no managers were available, so I gave up and started looking for alternatives. After scrambling all morning we ended up finding an alternative at an expectedly higher price due to the last minute booking, but the weekend was great. Fast forward to a few days ago and we are reviewing our credit card purchases and find that they did not remove the $474 charge. So not only did they cancel our reservation the day of, but they also charged us hundreds of dollars for it. We call the Hotel Siri and explain the situation and get the expected response that there was no manager available and we would need to call back in the morning. We call back the following morning and get in touch with a manager "Norman R." who again claims to be very busy and assures us he will get in contact with us later in the evening when he has more time. He calls my wife in the middle of her work day and leaves no voicemail. We call back later that evening and again there is no manager available. After playing phone tag with him for days we reported it as fraud on our credit card. read more

Then we let them know and they gave us a second room and it was worse than the first (meaning it hadn't been cleaned yet either and the previous guests we more messy than the first room). I had booked this without reading any reviews and wasn't worried about anything until...the hotel called me! Check-in was 3pm and they called at 5:30. Not recognizing the number, I let it go to voicemail. Then I got a text from them saying to call ASAP. They just wanted to know when I was checking in, which seemed odd. That has never happened to me before and I have travelled a LOT! That is when I started looking at reviews. Needless to say I was seriously worried. I was considering just paying (I got a great price) and opting to just drive home despite the night drive. I decided to at least go and see, with worst case that I looked at the room and decided to leave. It ended up being just fine! The clerk at the desk was fine, no issues there. He wasn't overly friendly but for the business at hand, he was fine. Although I will say the front desk is done at 10pm and I am pretty sure there is no staff on site over night which did creep me out. I parked so if I had to grab stuff and leave quick I could without issue. Maybe it was unnecessary but no front desk at all made me nervous. The room was nice enough too. It had clearly been a motor lodge motel style where doors open to the parking but fairly recently upgraded and all fine. I was only staying one night to sleep before a drive after a full day of presentations so it was fine. My small issues were not a huge deal. Wished they had a proper desk chair for doing some work but what they had was sufficient for the night. No ice machine on the first floor so had to leave without easy access ice. The dude in the room next door couldn't park in one space, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Oh and the auto-light in the bathroom was startling at 4 am when I had to use the bathroom. It kept me awake longer than needed because it was so darn bright. All minor stuff. While I wouldn't probably stay here for a wine weekend where I am wanting a more upgraded experience, this was perfectly fine for a quick stop and close the to highway to jump in the car and go. Maybe if I hadn't read the reviews I would have given it a higher rating, but combine with the call and text and I was a little weary. And the stay was fine but not so overwhelming great that it totally off set the weird factor. So reviews do matter! read more

The fitness room was great. Loved the wide walk pad on the treadmill. Didn't hear anything outside the room. So quiet. Greatly appreciated receiving a phone call at 1:30pm informing us that our room would be ready before 3pm, if we wanted to arrive early. I stayed at hotel Siri last night. When my Uber dropped me off at the hotel I realized my room key was in the room. I walked to the front desk to get a new room key and the door was locked. I then rang the doorbell several times and knocked on the door and proceeded to call the phone number for the Night manager. I called for four straight hours until I had somebody picked up the phone up and met me at the front desk to make me a new room key. I went up to the room and showered and left a couple hours later. Before leaving, I went to the front desk and asked the Same individual made me the room key how I can get a refund for the stay and I was told I would need to process the refund through American Express business travel. American Express calls the hotel and that individual denies my refund saying that the room was stayed in. This is terrible customer service and I would never recommend to stay at this hotel! read more
