I had booked this without reading any reviews and wasn't worried about anything until...the hotel called me! Check-in was 3pm and they called at 5:30. Not recognizing the number, I let it go to voicemail. Then I got a text from them saying to call ASAP. They just wanted to know when I was checking in, which seemed odd. That has never happened to me before and I have travelled a LOT! That is when I started looking at reviews. Needless to say I was seriously worried. I was considering just paying (I got a great price) and opting to just drive home despite the night drive. I decided to at least go and see, with worst case that I looked at the room and decided to leave. It ended up being just fine! The clerk at the desk was fine, no issues there. He wasn't overly friendly but for the business at hand, he was fine. Although I will say the front desk is done at 10pm and I am pretty sure there is no staff on site over night which did creep me out. I parked so if I had to grab stuff and leave quick I could without issue. Maybe it was unnecessary but no front desk at all made me nervous. The room was nice enough too. It had clearly been a motor lodge motel style where doors open to the parking but fairly recently upgraded and all fine. I was only staying one night to sleep before a drive after a full day of presentations so it was fine. My small issues were not a huge deal. Wished they had a proper desk chair for doing some work but what they had was sufficient for the night. No ice machine on the first floor so had to leave without easy access ice. The dude in the room next door couldn't park in one space, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Oh and the auto-light in the bathroom was startling at 4 am when I had to use the bathroom. It kept me awake longer than needed because it was so darn bright. All minor stuff. While I wouldn't probably stay here for a wine weekend where I am wanting a more upgraded experience, this was perfectly fine for a quick stop and close the to highway to jump in the car and go. Maybe if I hadn't read the reviews I would have given it a higher rating, but combine with the call and text and I was a little weary. And the stay was fine but not so overwhelming great that it totally off set the weird factor. So reviews do matter! read more

WARNING This hotel is ripping off people. I made reservations through my travel agent for two rooms in two different people's names when we got there the manager I believe his name is Norman asked for my credit card and ran it and charged me when I had already paid for my room the other couple I was with he took their card and didn't charge them. I was under the belief he took my credit card for incidentals during the stay when I asked the manager why he charged me again. He said I didn't have a reservation. Then when he found my reservation, he refused to reverse the charges on my credit card saying I had to cancel 24 hours in advance a complete SCAM!! DO NOT STAY AT SIRI HOTEL read more

Terrible hotel. They advertise themselves as a 3 star hotel but the hotel is noisy. You can hear every car door close from the parking lot due to poor sound proofing. The front desk doesn't care to try to make things right and abruptly informs checked in guests they are too busy to help them. Stay away from this terrible place. read more

The fitness room was great. Loved the wide walk pad on the treadmill. Didn't hear anything outside the room. So quiet. Greatly appreciated receiving a phone call at 1:30pm informing us that our room would be ready before 3pm, if we wanted to arrive early. Also appreciated the offer of bottled water when we checked in. read more

I stayed at hotel Siri last night. When my Uber dropped me off at the hotel I realized my room key was in the room. I walked to the front desk to get a new room key and the door was locked. I then rang the doorbell several times and knocked on the door and proceeded to call the phone number for the Night manager. I called for four straight hours until I had somebody picked up the phone up and met me at the front desk to make me a new room key. I went up to the room and showered and left a couple hours later. Before leaving, I went to the front desk and asked the Same individual made me the room key how I can get a refund for the stay and I was told I would need to process the refund through American Express business travel. American Express calls the hotel and that individual denies my refund saying that the room was stayed in. This is terrible customer service and I would never recommend to stay at this hotel! read more

Everything from start to finish. Great room. Very clean, huge bed. It's a two level hotel. The upper level is a key only entrance to the hallway to your rooms. Walking distance to the fairgrounds. A Rite Aide around the corner and down town is 4 minutes driving time. I would stay again for sure. read more

We came here on Thursday on 8/27/20 and arrived about 20 minutes before the 3pm check-in time. There was plenty of parking outside. The guy working at the front desk was nice but we didn't get his name. He wore a mask and was helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and a king size bed. The room was clean from what we could tell and the bed was comfortable. We were here for only one night and we thought it was a good experience. We didn't hear any of the rooms around us (unless nobody was around us). Overall, I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. read more

No toilet paper....at all. Not only had the toilet paper dispenser been broken off the wall, there wasn't a roll to be found. And since it was after 11pm when we got back to our room, there was no one manning the front desk. (Closed from 11pm - 7am - really? It's not a bed-and-breakfast. For $288/night there should be someone available.) The bed & pillows were comfortable, but in the morning when I unfolded a bath towel, I found a long black hair. Moving on to towel #2, I unfolded it to find a brown makeup smear...at least I hope it was makeup. Trying to make the best of it, I turned on the shower & tossed the towel over the shower curtain rod....only to have the entire rod & curtain fall on my head. On top of all that, their computer system was "down" (even though their WiFi was working just fine), so we had to go find a bank to withdraw enough money to pay cash for the room. Ridiculous. Very bad experience.....nice enough hotel, the room was clean and comfortable but the front desk and check in process made it atrocious. Usually it's the rooms that make for a bad experience, not the front desk process but this was so bad. I'm mad at myself for not reading some of the other reviews because they had a similar experience. Driving in we received a call saying we would need to bring $200 CASH deposit -- really because a non-smoking couple in their 60s are such a risk for trashing your hotel? So that was the first strange thing. Then after our night out with friends we come back to the room around 11PM and neither of our cards work. We go to the front desk, which is closed and we have two call two numbers to get someone. The manager comes out and throws a card under a window to my husband and gives him a rude and offensive gesture.....what? to a guest? And guess what, that card didn't work either, so this time I go to the front desk and have to be nice because I wanted in to our room! We obviously don't recommend Hotel Siri. read more

I would give 0 stars if at all possible. Our reservation stated 2 queen beds, the beds were a full size at most. The front desk staffs response was oh well, that's what we have and we call them queens. The front desk staff were rude, not helpful. Our credit card was charged even before the check in time of 3pm. There are cockroaches!! Never in my life have I experienced a bug crawling on me while I sleep. I stayed for one night at this hotel in late August 2022. It was my first time staying in Paso Robles. In the middle of the night (Saturday night), around 1:00AM, I felt a bug crawling down my arm. I thought it was my imagination. I quickly made a shake movement to throw it off my hand. Once I turned on the lights, I saw the cockroach in my sheets. It was huge and disgusting. I took a video of the roach. When I told the front desk, they were extremely RUDE! They said I must have brought the bug in. I even showed them the video I took of the bug. They told me that they would call me tomorrow, and see how they can accommodate me. I never received a call and when I tried calling them, they would keep saying they don't know how the bug got there and that they get cleaning done everyday. Again telling me that it probably came in with me. Then they hung up on me and have screen my calls. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. The manager never returned my calls. The people in the front are rude. Crooked Scammers Run this Motel - BEWARE! My reservation was prepaid through Expedia. After driving 10 hours I arrived to check in and was told that my room was cancelled by hotel because my card didn't go through. However, as you can see from receipt it was paid in full. Clerk wouldn't even look at my receipt or discuss solutions. He said they tried to call me but my # was disconnected. I called my # from their phone and it rang just fine. Tried to show him call log that showed plenty of calls in but none from their hotel and he wouldn't even look. He was RUDE behind belief. When my phone rang and I insisted they didn't try to call he said they sent an email. I searched emails and tried to show him there were no emails except my confirmation. He wouldn't look. He stands up and tells the other clerk to deal with it because he isn't even supposed to be here and walks out. The other clerk just shrugs and says they dint have any rooms. read more

Room: it is clean, remodel and it has a great space. It has microwave and refrigerator which is a plus. Love the cute purple decoration, the bed and pillows were comfortable and overall it was a pleasant hotel. However - make sure that they don't place you under the fitness center at least that you want to wake up at 7 in the morning with a heart attack thinking the earth is shaking. It's perfect if you are trying to get yourself to work out because somehow you will have to go to the gym to workout or tell the other person to stop working out so you can go back to sleep (vacation mode for me) .. your choice. Clean: Facilities are nice and clean. Looks like Housekeepers are doing a really good job. Environment: The place feels safe and although it doesn't have any security or gates, it feels good enough so we didn't have to be worry. Customer service: this is where their big pitfalls is. The front desk closes at 10 pm and there is no emergency number if you have any situation after that time. Make sure that if you are arriving after 10 pm you give them a call before or you might have to sleep in the car instead. Honestly, I didn't reD the email for the check-in instruction and they sent that email letting us know. They sent me an email at 9:48 PM same day before my arrival and I didn't have signal. They didn't call or leave me a message as any other good customer service hotel will do. Lucky us, we got there just at 10 PM and they guy almost insulted me because we made it at 10 PM and we didn't call. They didn't leave the keys even when the hotel was prepaid. The attendees are not friendly, they don't have a smile in their face and they treat you like you are a pest more than a customer. It happened at 1:00 PM and before closing the front desk during the week. Is it better during the weekend? Or another time? I call the front desk at 8 am and 8:30 am to request a few things and ask questions about check out and guest what - they didn't answer! A gem in Paso Robles! The room was very clean, comfortable and amazingly quiet. You could not hear any road/highway traffic. The cleanliness of our room was spotless from the bathroom to the overall living space. The balcony had comfortable chairs to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. Customer Service was exceptional. Norman rocks! He was helpful, friendly and made you feel so welcome. We appreciated the safety measures in place for guests that stayed on the upper level. The hotel/motel is easily accessible to wine country and fairgrounds. There's a yummy diner down the street, a walkable distance, called Margie's if you want delicious good old fashioned diner food. read more

Hotel Siri is a great location near downtown and close to the Vina Robles Amphitheater. We loved the room, the bed was super comfortable, and we loved the patio outside which allowed us to bring in fresh air. The lobby employee was very helpful in restaurant recommendations and directions. The area felt quiet and safe and we even walked from the hotel to downtown (1 mile away) and enjoyed the stroll. Overall everything seemed in working order (like elevators and the in room mini fridge). To reach the second floor rooms, you needed your room e-key to enter the building which added to the feeling of safety. Other things you may want to know - While there is a nice rooftop seating area with a view, there are not amenities like a breakfast bar or coffee service or happy hour. The fitness room consisted of a treadmill and 2 elliptical machines facing a TV - a basic cardio workout. Overall we will return! read more

They said they could do nothing about it, and told me to go through Booking.com. I went through Booking.com, who said they could not reach the hotel via email or phone. This has been the most confounding hotel experience in my life. The front desk called me a little before 6pm the day of to ask when I was checking in, which I thought was a little weird. We checked in around 7pm, grabbed dinner, and when we came back to shower, discovered that more than half the towels had some sort of stain. I called the front desk and they said they could not provide me clean towels, and then they told me, "they're stains from the washing machine chemicals" and "well, it's not blood", when I never assumed it could've been blood until that moment. I asked if they could still give me another set for peace of mind, and the desk guy insisted he couldn't. I then asked him to log some damages we found in the room - drapes broken, toilet seat broken - but he asked me to report it when I check out the following morning. I asked if he could just leave a note for the person working the next morning, as we were checking out very early the next day. He said HE was the person working the next day...so why couldn't he just log the damages then? I then asked when I could speak to a manager/when the manager would be working, he said he didn't know. He gave me a name - "Joe" - which I suspected was fake. It was such a bizarre experience, and my partner and I ended up sharing a singular clean looking towel. The next morning when we went to check out, no one was even sitting at the front desk to log our complaints. Also the sheets were kinda abrasive. Please stay elsewhere. read more

I had the most awful experience dealing with this hotel. Basically I made a reservation and then canceled it a week later. I called to make the reservation and called to cancel it. I canceled the reservation more than 1 week before the check-in date. That's normal right? Plans change? Also hotel cancellation policy was to cancel 24 hours before check-in. Anyways.... The evening of my original check in date, I got 3 voicemails (excessive?) from "Joe" telling me I have to check in before 10PM otherwise I won't be able to get in to my room (putting his name in quotes for reasons you will find out later in the review). I emailed him back a few hours later just being like, "hey sorry but just a reminder that I canceled these reservations." The next day I saw my credit card was charged for each of the rooms I had booked! I kept emailing Joe kindly just asking for clarification and asking him to remove the charges. All my emails were ignored. Then, my husband called and he told me "Joe" yelled at him and was very aggressive. "Joe" told him management would call us back to deal with this and hung up the phone. We never got a call from management, so I called again. I spoke with a very nice, normal woman who confirmed to me that the reservation was properly canceled and I shouldn't have been charged. She told me to call in a few hours so that the manager, "Norman", could issue the refund. I called "Norman" a few hours later and "Norman" said he was not the manager but that people at the hotel think he is?? He said the manager would be in the next morning. Also I should note that Norman and Joe literally sounded like the same person. Based on my experience, I would never recommend anyone to stay here. My husband and I have never been treated so rudely by any hotel "manager" and I am just so appalled at how ridiculous this whole thing turned out to be. Maybe Joe/Norman was having a bad day, but he cost me a lot of time trying to sort this whole thing out with my credit card company. My husband and I dedided on a last minute weekend get away to Paso Robles. Checked out Yelp and Hotel Siri was the first hotel I think popped up. After reading several positive reviews, I booked a room instantly. The gentleman who checked us in was so charming, unfortunately I did not get his name. We stayed 2 nights in room 206, with the balcony so in the morning we were able to enjoy the sunrose while we had our coffee. The second we stepped inside our room to the time we checked out, the room smelled of clean, fresh linens. Our 3 days, 2 nights stay at Hotel Siri was excellent. I have already bookmarked Hotel Siri because I know this is where we will be staying again the next time we decide on a weekend getaway to Paso Robles. Great job Hotel Siri! read more

Hotel Siri was in a convenient location, right on the main strip for a reasonable price. The check in was super quick and easy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Rooms have mini fridge, microwave & coffee setup, TV, AC. Some rooms have balcony. We frequently stop over in PR on way between Bay Area & SoCal and will definitely return here over the other tired (& higher priced) motels nearby. Highly recommend. read more

The bed was really comfortable and the room had everything we needed (large mini fridge, coffee station). The room I booked was on the second floor, which is the hotel portion of the property - rooms were newly renovated and comfortable! I will admit, this is my first and hopefully my last 1 star review. I don't take such a negative review lightly. Came to Paso for Veteran's day (served 8 years in the Navy). When you arrive from out of town and find out your confirmed hotel room has been cancelled and you weren't notified; it's very frustrating. I can excuse mistakes, but the 1 star is for the subsequent lack of customer service that was provided by Norman at the front desk. Not only would he apologize or take any responsibility for the cancelled reservation (claims some guy called and cancelled but only number on file was my girlfriend who made the reservations), but didn't try an rectify the situation or really help us find somewhere to stay. He offered "his friend's hotel", but the price was significantly higher ($129 vs $89) than what was advertised on Expedia. We asked to talk to his manager to see if he could help, but Norman refused. I've stayed at Allegreto previously and found a room at Adelaida inn for this weekend. Both places are great and would recommend them instead. Don't forget to save space in the trunk for your wine purchases. So many good options in Paso! read more

I was told manager was not in and would return my call. Called in three separate times after that and were unable to resolve my refund even though I never stepped foot on property. I used their online chat feature Sent an email No response After calling in a fourth time and trying to call a few times after that from my phone they I assume were screening my calls. Unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review as I don't like to but it seems I'm not the first guest to experience being charged after a cancellation. My mistake for trying to save a few bucks and picking one of the cheaper hotels in the area and now I'm out $340 dollars for clicking a button. read more
