I was pleasantly surprised by this La Quinta. When you step in, the lounge is updated and modern looking. It's so pretty! The gentleman helping us was very kind and helpful. The gym is open 24/7 and is pretty clean. Space is limited, but it contains the essentials such as elliptical, treadmill, bike, machine, and weight bench. They have towels and a water fountain in there. The rooms are large, including the bathroom. Lots of space to move about. You can see that there's still aspects that are older, but it's clean in the room. I didn't care for the bed fitted sheet because it was so fuzzy from being worn out/used. The room was very clean. They have complimentary makeup wipes on the bathroom counter. There's complimentary breakfast and it's the standard stuff you'd get anywhere, like eggs, potatoes, sausage, coffee, pastries, some fruits. They do have some local bakery pastries from SLO like chocolate croissants and muffins, which is cool. They have a water station for you to refill your water bottles. Plenty of parking outside. Overall I'd highly recommend staying here! read more

We're usually a party of 6 when we come into town, so we normally would stay at local vacation rentals or at an Airbnb when we come into town, however this was a quick trip out for my husband and me, so we opted to booked here. Conveniently located off State Route 46, it's a quick drive to DTPR, neighboring cities, and some local wineries. Our room (and bathroom) was spacious and clean, and the complimentary amenities they offered were spot on! A continental breakfast is included with your stay. The pool and spa were well maintained, and the gym is open 24-hours. Parking is effortless, and the surrounding area is well-lit and safe at night. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Special mention to Yire, who was so kind, especially with our check-in process. Great communication via text message too! This July, we stayed at La Quinta in Paso Robles overnight in order to have a place to crash after going to the rodeo. Though I've stayed in their larger suites with balconies before, their standard queen rooms are also comfortable and spacious. Our room felt very clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure waking up to a very dark room (great curtains). Their complimentary breakfast was perfect - we had eggs, sausage, fruit, and mini waffles. This place might be my favorite hotel in Paso. I've tried quite a few places, but La Quinta was great. It is very clean, and newly remodeled. The breakfast (included) was possibly the best hotel breakfast I have had. Everything was really good, but you just need to be prepared for a potential line if you go at the "breakfast rush hour." They even had this super cool pancake machine that made delicious pancakes. Only complaint is that when we went to the jacuzzi at night, it was really cold. The heater was not working, and they were not able to do anything about it. It was great the first night of our stay, but something happened when we went the next night and they were not able to fix it. It would have been nice if they offered something for the inconvenience, but it was just a shrug of the shoulders. It was still a good stay, and I'll just assume that it was a fluke with the jacuzzi. However, it is a minus of a star, since it was not really handled with any concern. read more

We had a pleasant stay at La Quinta at Paso Robles. The Executive Room with Balcony that we stayed in was very clean, spacious and quiet. Our unit overlooks a small garden and Allegretto across the street and had a small kitchenette. The free breakfast was simple but adequate. First time I came here, I think they gave me the room someone else didn't want because I heard the front desk ask the gentleman if he touched anything in the room. That room was really great and spacious and more than enough room for one person with a couch, bar sink and lots of space. The next two times I came here it was smaller compared to the 1st time, but nice high ceiling, clean but I hate the bathroom. No space for my toothbrush or such on the sink, or barely any room. The shower has little pressure and barely any water comes out of the shower head. I ended up having to take a bath because the shower head frustrated me too much. This place does have a gym, pool, happy hour and free breakfast. The breakfast is better here than other places. Has the standard juices, coffee, tea, waffle maker, pancake maker, eggs, protein- bacon, sausage, etc, cereal, yogurt, sliced fruits, pastry. More breakfast items than most and they rotate their menu for the eggs and protein. read more

All three of our rooms were spacious and comfortable. It is located in a convenient spot to access everything Paso. The breakfast was too notch for a chain breakfast buffet. The price was reasonable for the venue. Didn't access the pool or exercise area but they are available. I would probably return. read more

Unfortunately this was not a great stay. I've been to Paso several times, however our stay was not great. We booked a suite with a balcony but they set us up on the 1st floor. DO NOT STAY ON THE 1st FLOOR, the smell of the continental breakfast will wake you up it's pretty strong and can upset your stomach. The food was not bad, but you don't want to wake up smelling like food. And you can hear everything l, including the cars parking outside. The room was a bit dated and old. There was tape holding up some molding. The icing on the cake was they didn't provide wine openers or wine glasses! I've been to Paso several times, different hotels and Airbnb they always provided a wine openers and glasses. The reason why they don't provide them is because they say guest take them. I've never taken one, but how much can they be $1? They said if you need us to open up a bottle, bring it to the front desk. Lol! This was hilarious. read more

We recently visited Paso Robles. This La Quinta was a perfect place to stay cuz it was at a great distance from pretty much everything we wanted to do, so it worked out perfectly. The lobby area was renovated recently so looks pretty great coming in. It was definitely much more than what we expected. The service was good. Breakfast was included with the stay which was pretty decent. They had eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, waffles, bagels and even biscuits and gravy. All of which was fresh and tasted very good. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean and had an extra sofa bed. It also had a refrigerator, coffee machine and a microwave. We were fairly impressed by our stay here. Paso Robles on the Whole was a lovely place to visit. read more

Our room was huge! It had separate rooms for the bed and bath, but there was a separate living room and kitchenette. The floor was pergo, which is nice because sure you don't have to worry about what's been spilled on the carpeting! Everything was newer and up to date but corporate. There was a heated pool and hot tub that we enjoyed. Breakfast was ok but not great--self made waffles, with scrambled eggs and random stuff like cereal, toast, bagels and fruit. The serving area gets congested and could be set up more efficiently. The location is just out of town on 46 so if you want to be in walking distance of restaurants and bars this is not the best place. The price on the wknd was over $300 night and that was too pricey for what we got; hence, 4 stars instead of 5. read more

A nice hotel located a couple miles east of the downtown area. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. They offer a free breakfast each day but we didn't partake so I can't comment on that. read more

I will give 5 stars because the hotel is really clean, nice bad, the hair dryer is fantastic, acceptable dogs for $25, comfortable. The breakfast is really good! I think it is a good stop for your trip, or two days. Accessible on the road. They have a big spot for your dog walks. read more

Great location. Very quiet. Booked a suite and the layout was great. Had a breakfast bar in the room but no plates, bowls or cutlery. Loved the jetted tub. The bedding needs an upgrade. Thursday 22May2025 11pm. This place saved us! We were not able to check in to a previously booked hotel and most other locations were full. When we arrived at La Quinta we were already prepared to sleep in our car. The gentleman at the front desk (I'm so sorry I don't recall your name but the time and date are above) saved us. He gave us a room, was very polite and professional and even had suggestions for restaurants and wineries. He also made sure we had a discount (veteran) to help with the cost. Overall the price was still competitive even for last minute booking. The room was amazing! It was spacious, clean, and had a kitchen (big plus!). Highly recommend staying here! read more

For our final night on the road, we were very impressed by this La Quinta location. It had a very elegant vibe and our room was beautiful. I was excited to see that this location had a bath tub and enjoyed a nice, relaxing soak before bed. The king-sized bed was comfortable and the room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The hotel is dog friendly with no extra fee (yay!) and I just had to fill out a form when we checked in about our dogs. Super easy and we love staying places that make our dogs feel welcome too. I sent my boyfriend downstairs to pick up breakfast for us, expecting it to be like our other breakfasts on the road trip in a prepackaged bag. Instead, he had an option of cereal, yogurt, fruit and hard-boiled eggs. Not quite back to pre-covid options but it was nice that he was able to handpick from the offerings. read more

The hotel is conveniently located off 101, in between downtown Paso Robles and Sensorio. It has a big swimming pool and whirlpool that we will use next time. The guest room is more spacious than we're used to in a hotel, and that was nice. We had a room with a balcony that was nice but we didn't use it. The door to the balcony is glass, so we had even more light. The shower was just right, and the amenities were all good. We were very comfortable. And the hotel was quiet. We were there on a Thursday night; maybe that had something to do with it being so restful to sleep. The breakfast was a nice surprise with many options, including a delicious fruit salad that was all hand cut and included fresh pineapple. No canned fruit! It was a better buffet than we expected. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay there again. read more

It is my pleasure to recommend this lovely hotel in Paso Robles. The price is right and the amenities are outstanding. The hotel offers a heated pool and hot, tub, a work-out room, and an internet room. The loby is specious and clearly designed for friendly gatherings. The breakfast is robust with a wide assortment of cooked foods as well as chilled food and drinks... something for everyone for sure. The rooms are also very spacious, almost like suites. In Paso for a girls wine tasting trip and decided on La Quinta cause they were the best value. I was not disappointed. We upgraded to a suite which was like having a one bedroom apartment. It was large enough for our whole group to hang out and play games. The property was clean and remarkably quiet. The complimentary breakfast had an great variety, from cereal to waffles. I will stay there again for again for sure. The only complaints... House keeping loudly knocking on the door, despite the "do not disturb" sign being on it. Checked in late 11:30pm - luckily roll out cot was still available, Friendly, efficient service, when I called for extra blankets at 1 am in morning it was delivered in about 5 minutes! The room is spacious and clean and nicely appointed. Lobby and breakfast area also kept up, Breakfast itself was just ok - but I wasn't expecting much. For free meal they are decent. It was all booked up on Thursday night in July but individual making my reservations did their best to accommodate the 4 of us. We ended up in Executive King with a pull out cot vs. 2 Queens. The cot was more comfortable than the pull out sofa. My daughter decided to sleep on sofa as is with her feet sticking up. That was more comfortable than spring mattress which was super thin and sunk down. read more

The staff were excellent and everything appeared clean and modern. Over the years we have stayed in this hotel many times as we visit family who live in town. The problems were in our newly refurbished room which was not practical. The lighting was insufficient and I used a flashlight frequently to use black outlets near bed and find light switch there and also to use the microwave oven. Incidentally the light switch next to the bed was too high. Soft vinyl piece on wheels in front of sofa on casters was a coffee table perhaps or for a leg rest, it kept rolling away from me. It was too dark to read at one end of sofa. Only short items fit in fridge so no place for a quart of milk. The bathroom had no place to hang damp towels and no toilet paper dispenser. The shower head was too high to adjust easily so one is standing under cold water spray waiting for water to warm up. read more

We stayed here on New Year's Eve and overall, we had an okay experience. The rooms are clean and larger than our previous night stay at the Courtyard down the street. They also have free parking and a complimentary breakfast. Finally, this hotel was only 5 minutes from our Sensorio event (the light art installation that's ending soon), so it was easy to get back. However, this hotel is a little farther from Paso Robles downtown, but still close enough where the drive isn't bad at all. I'm knocking it down a couple of stars because when we arrived at 2pm, we asked for an early check-in, but they said our rooms weren't ready, so we waited in the lobby. The hotel was sold out, so I understand why they couldn't accommodate us, but they did said they would call us between 2:30-3pm thinking they might have our rooms ready by then. When 3pm rolled around, I saw 2 other patrons getting checked-in early and asked whether we can also get checked in, which we were told that our suite wasn't ready. I was a little mad since I had told them earlier that we were open to any room, and didn't need a suite, which is why the initial desk receptionist said we could probably check-in by 3pm. I was also annoyed to see other patrons getting checked-in before us when they clearly saw us waiting in the completely empty lobby since we had 7 people in our party for 2 rooms. Anyway, everything worked out in the end, but it was frustrating to see other patrons get serviced before you when I felt they could have provided better customer service since I was told that they would call us when rooms became available and they didn't. read more

Clean rooms and maid service is daily which is rare now (post Covid). No idea why other hotels don't clean daily as Covid has been a non issue for years. Staff was pleasant and this hotel was close to everything. Daily breakfast which is nothing special but is very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again without question. This La Quinta is above what you would expect from the chain. The lobby is large, airy and modern. The staff are professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The location is far enough from the 101 that you won't hear much in the way of highway or road noise. The room rates are beyond reasonable for the type of accommodations. The only drawback would be the lack of fresh fruit and fresh pastry options at breakfast. Though the breakfast does include eggs and sausage, which was not bad. This is a great base for visiting the local wineries and as a rest stop while driving the 101. read more

This La Quinta in (Paso Robles) is our to go place now when wine tasting. It is easy to get to, close to the freeway and close to some of our favourite wineries. It is a beautiful establishment. Rooms are nice and nicely decorated. They have a happy hour and free breakfast in the morning that starts at 6 AM. We were told by another customer, who apparently stays at this chain, and says that this one in Paso is the nicest they have been to. Sad to hear that that all of them are so nice. read more
