Great gym. I was looking for a gym to help get into shape and a friend brought to me to a class…read moreover a year ago and I have been a member ever since. The gym has a mix of cardio, weights/lifting, and functional movement. I would say the variety of the classes is the best because sometimes you walk away feeling exhausted and others more just sore. There is a program That rotates every few months and has a certain theme , but for the new or casual gym goer you will Not get lost in the weeds because the coaches help or scale workouts to make it more approachable. The atmosphere is upbeat and positive . The gym hosts social events and tournaments which keep things interesting and fun. There are many class times and singing up and canceling is simple. I have been to a few group class style gyms in Dallas and by far this is the best. If can get to a few classes a week I almost always feel better in mind and body.Lastly, the instructors and in particular the owner Zach go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and is getting something out of their workout. Highly recommend!

As someone who is very self-critical, and competitive with myself, I found the environment to be inclusive, friendly and non-judgmental....just what I needed/wanted. The workouts are well structured and easy to scale for all fitness levels. I love the mix of cardio, strength training, HIIT, movement exercises, etc. The owner, Zach, and the coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable which is something I was looking for because I tend to ask a lot of questions. They are happy to help you reach personal goals if you're like me and appreciate that kind of support and feedback. They are passionate about health and fitness - they often participate in the workouts which is encouraging when you're in the middle of a tough workout knowing that they've already been through it. I can't say enough good things about this gym and these people. It's also a bonus to have physical therapy available, on-sight. Jess is amazing and helped me with my hip mobility and recommended scaled movements specific to upcoming workouts (she is also a gym member which is awesome because she knows exactly what's going on in the workout cycles). Thanks to Vickery, I am in the best shape I've been in since college. I have to give Zach, Stefan, Rachel, and all the coaches credit for helping me get my life and confidence back. Also, how can you go wrong working out with dogs and good music? 10/10 recommend :)

I was really nervous since I've heard how difficult CrossFit can be and how out of shape and overweight I've become over the past few years... I always thought you had to be in shape before you even try CrossFit. Being so disgusted and frustrated with my excessive weight gain (I've gained 120 pounds over the past 5 years) my friend signed me up for the free 1:1 intro course to give it a try... and, man, it was challenging but I found that I really did like enjoy it! I'm half way through my pre-course trainings and Ryan has been awesome. He's so patient and very thorough each time he teaches me a new movement or corrects my form. It's still challenging for me but not to the point where I feel defeated. It's more of a motivational challenge... which is definitely a sign of awesome coaching! I initially walked through the door to target my excessive weight gain but now I find my self setting little goals like where I'll try beat my time from a previous session. I still have a VERYYY long way to go but I'm really happy that I've found this place. Thank you Ryan & East DallasCrossFit. :)

Let me preface this review with the fact that I am a mild mannered, somewhat shy and introverted,…read moreavoid the spotlight and like to play by the rules in order to avoid drama directed toward me.  Many members have commented about the owner's temperament (Jake Morgan) in my 4ish months going to the gym and I had seen a bit of it during that time but never directed toward me.  We all have bad days for sure and nobody is perfect.  Many times and on this particular day, it is the first thing I do after a stressful work day, often still thinking about the workday or all the things I have to do the next day.  Once I get in the swing of the workout, my mind often focuses and the workday melts away.  I was doing the first exercise of the 'warm up' portion of the workout which requires a bit of focus and math to determine the proper weight.  I wasn't thinking clearly and he came over to correct my weight choice (and my friends next to me), I nodded and acknowledged him but continued and finished my set (only 5 reps).  I guess I wasn't doing the proper tempo either, but he kind of threw off my game and thought I'd just correct it for the next set (again it was a short 5 reps).  I walked away to go do the next exercise not really thinking it was a big deal, and he follows me scolding me for not listening to him, saying I can go down the street and pay $50 for a workout if I do not want to follow directions, etc.  I was taken back and defended my ability to correct it at the next set, but that it's really "my warmup" and shouldn't be a big deal.  This must have been very embarrassing for him to scold a member over a warm-up in front of 15 other members. After the 20 second back and forth, I completed the entire workout,  feeling really bad for him and his behavior, but really perplexed at what I did to warrant the response I received to the situation.  Had I done something else that day or another day that brought this to a head?  I'm not sure honestly.  The next day I got an email that my membership was terminated, I guess no surprise given his petty behavior.  It's too bad b/c the other trainers are great.  I hope he realizes that members are customers, and happy customers equate to success for his business. Stay away if you are a customer who expects respect, understanding, and kindness for a service you are paying for.  Be kind to others and it will pay you back in volumes!

I attend the fitness classes, which combine strength and cardio work, without the more complicated barbell lifts found in CrossFit classes. If you're already in a healthy place, you should be able to jump in and go immediately. If you're more like I was a year ago, the coaches can help you understand how to ease into an exercise regimen in a healthy way that won't get you hurt. The Gym has a friendly atmosphere/culture. Everyone is encouraging and kind. The coaches are exceptionally helpful and unless you have extensive experience (and even if you do), I believe the coaching/help is worth the extra cost relative to what you'd spend at a mega-gym.

The class sizes are small, so there is a lot of personal attention given, which makes it an excellent value. Before a bike accident I was a competitive off-road athlete and my fitness achieved at the gym helped me to advance further and ride faster than I thought was possible. After the accident and starting over with fitness and mobility, the gym and coaches were great at helping me modify the workouts so that I could participate and rehabilitate. I love just being able to show up and have a plan ready to go, and the group workout environment is great whether you like it for competitive reasons or to just be around some friends. Whether you are a beginner or have years of experience, there is something for you at this gym!

So, It took me awhile to get time in my schedule to go in, and man, am I glad I did!!! I am somewhat of an impulsive person and I have prior kickboxing experience but when they told me about the 6 week challenge I knew I would need to do something drastic and impulsive to get my butt back in gear. I clicked with Jules the first day I spoke with her and was inspired by her personal weight loss journey. This gym is more than just a place to sweat. It's a judgement free zone with the support of a "family" type community! Jules paired me with a great coach, Athena for my challenge who has also inspired me and had nothing but encouragement and help for me every time I see her! Im sorry to see reviews here that say they were unhappy with terminating their memberships, IT sucks to be unwell and then feel like you were treated unfairly, but there are contracts for gyms, and Covid is a new thing-don't care if they say it's here to stay-you sign a contract you have to read the fine print, and if Covid wasn't in it? Then sorry! That's my 2 cents... Anywho- I personally love this place and can't wait to get into a class every time I can!!

And the actual proof that I signed up with iLoveKickboxing.com and not fit serum. So their contract is void. No one has responded to me and if you ever try to get them on the phone no one will answer. This corporate office is a total sham. Never work out here and never go there and never sign up never give me your money because you'll never get it back even if you are on your deathbed !!!!!this company doesn't care about you at all trust that Here's an actual picture that the accounting department sent me !!!! to get filled out by my medical practitioner !!!! even though when I did they wouldn't give me a refund! So basically they want me to haul my handicap self in there and still work out? Even though they won't refund me the thousand dollars that they took out of my account because I've been sick and I canceled it a long time ago and they messed up clerically. This is blowing my mind how shady this company is !!!!!
