The area dictates that's it's for sure a small town style bar/restaurant. First and foremost, this place was surprisingly packed. Usually a good sign meaning there was something good going on, and considering it was 10am, I'm guessing the food. When I walked in though, definitely some people already getting their Sunday groove on with drinks too. I ordered the 6oz steak and eggs, and chose the potatoes. Steak was done to a perfect medium rare. Eggs were sunny side up and runny, just how I like em. Potatoes were done perfectly crisp, and cooking it with red pepper and onion adds another flavor profile to it. I crack the egg yolks and dip both steak and potatoes into it and it was nothing short of awesome. Service was great too. I didn't get welcomed or anything, but it's a bar after all so I just walked up and asked if I could sit anywhere. Chose to eat at the bar and they were attentive. My first time here, but I noticed the staff knowing a lot of the patrons and the people walking in, giving the "where everybody knows your name" vibe. Great spot and right next to a golf course. Could you not spare a small slice of cake or something - it was so weird. Who brings a dressing 1oz cup with whipped cream for a birthday celebration? I personally would not go back, but I don't live near here so that won't be a problem. If you like old ambiance, and an old feeling this is your place, just not my vibe.

They have a full menu for brunch and prices range from around $16 for "the usual" of eggs, bacon, and roasted potatoes to $25-30 for fancier plates. Note that toast was a side with extra charge. Brunch for 3 with coffee (and toast) was $115 including tax and tip. Not cheap, but the food was pretty good. The corned beef hash that I had came with a horseradish sauce that was a bit unusual, but good. My wife had "the usual" eggs, bacon, etc. Our son had the "beef benedict" with shredded beef, which, again, was a little unusual, but he said it was good. However, soybean oil is one of the worst oils for humans to consume because it is so very high in omega six and generally causes severe inflammation in most people. Dang! Their wings are so tasty, and such a great deal on wing Wednesday. They cook with no flour which is great for my Ketogenic lifestyle. I was so hooked and becoming a regular for those wings. But unfortunately that terrible oil will keep me away now that I know it is what they fry in. It's a sad moment!
