I really like this store! Peter and Chad are both knowledgeable and passionate about the stone they sell, and it was certainly the right choice to use them when choosing our counter and backsplash for the Kitchen Remodel. Their showroom has great lighting and really shows the detail of the stone, Peter can tell you every detail about each type of stone, and the characteristics they express overtime. My wife and I saw a Granite Slab called Pegasus, and we quickly realized that we should make the slightly larger purchase to get such a uniquely pretty stone. Im told it is sourced from an exclusive quarry in Brazil. The product, in my opinion speaks for itself, but this review is for the guys at the shop. We were looking to buy marble countertops for 3 of our bathrooms. We were told we needed one slab to do it. We started looking at a large provider of stone and they told us for all 3 bathrooms with installation it would cost close to 9k. We passed by on Oceanside Blvd so we thought that we should at least see what house of granite could provide. Their slabs were far more affordable with just the same type of quality for a fraction of the cost. Peter the owner was amazing. The only downside was that given that they were new to the area they were not able to recommend me an installer. I had to find my own but at the same time I did not know what price was reasonable when they all quoted me. Overall the Marble and affordable prices is why I would recommend anyone to come and do business here. read more

House of Granite has their slabs inside the building which is fabulous, and the owners actually move the piece to the light and set up your interests so that you can visualize the piece in your project. I am doing a project in Palm Desert, and was recommended to go to House of Granite because of the vast selection, including translucent stone called Cristallo which is difficult to find.
