I would give this a 3.5 star rating. Definitely love the concept of this place, one of a kind in the area. But my main concern is sanitation. None of the workers had gloves on while handling the food. Saw workers touch their faces and continue to serve, without washing hands. Invest in some gloves!!! Other than that this place is pretty awesome to satisfy some cravings!! I had the manganada and elote. Both were delicious!! Crazy long wait, but the gal was great once she waited on me. The ice cream was good,, but nothing special.

I ordered the tosticeviche with mango since I'm allergic to cucumbers and i clearly heard the boy at the register tell the young lady to add mango to it and when I got home my husband had tried it and it had cucumber in it! He was furious because of what could have happened but I told him it was fine that I would drive back to get my ordered fixed. I got there just in time before closing time and asked the boy if my order could be fixed. He said it was too late and there employee had left. I understood the kitchen was closed but don't understand why I couldn't receive a refund on something I couldn't eat and they messed up on. It upsets me that I've been a loyal customer of a place like this. I've heard all these negative things but have never had a problem. They're employees need to ensure things like this don't happen. This review is for their new menu. My husband I and were excited to see they started selling tacos and tortas, etc. 1. With the additions to their menu they need more people working up front. 2. The asada for the tacos were not charred. The meat appeared to be more steamed than anything. The color was gray and unappetizing. But they do hand make the corn tortillas and the tortillas are delicious. 3. My husband ordered a beef milenesa torta and there was basically no meat! It covered less than half of the bread. They also forgot to put avocado on it. Turns out they ran out of avocado and decided not to tell him thinking he wouldn't notice. 4. The asada empanadas tasted good. 5. The tamarindo agua fresca was good as well. Overall, their food is disappointing and we won't eat that again, but their raspados, mangonadas, etc are still worth coming in for. read more

The place is no longer a full establishment, they split it on two a restaurant and the Mexican treats. Price seem too high. Not many options. $7 for a average size mangonada, nothing special actually was a little off on flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on it. $7 for fresas con crema. Loved the place ! They have this thing called the " manganada"... Which is chunks of mango in a cup with some mango sorbet and a sweet red sauce . They also give you a straw covered with a sweet/spicy/ sour mixture that you lick on whilst eating the 'nada. If you like having all your taste buds tickled in one sitting the mangonada is for you. The place is quite new but the line I'd there . Have gone back since my first visit and tried the tamarind ice-cream .... ROCKS! This place is a must try for those wanting a different take in ice-cream. read more

First time here and I ordered a Mangonada and it was DELISH!! It has chunks of mango and mango ice cream :) it comes with a stick of tamarindo which compliments the hot sauce they pour on it. read more

Ordered tostilocos and there was a BUNCH of tajin poured and basically nothing else. Ended up throwing them away because it was like a bag of salt. Slow service, bad customer service. Customers behind me walked away due to no attention given to customers or acknowledgement that they will be helped soon! Will I come here again? NO, this is the 3rd time seeing this bad behavior and I don't care for an establishment that doesn't care either. Also while getting my ice cream served the lady dropped part of the scoop & she picked it up with her bare hands and placed it on my scoop. Also, we arrived 40 minutes before closing and we were told the kitchen was closed... There were no signs stating that fact. Really nice to have different options for dessert and like the family environment. Prices are great and won't go broke taking the family out for a dessert if you wish. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The store was very clean and the dessert was really great so much better then the old shaved iced. The strawberry real fruit is great!!! read more

I have never experienced such poor customer service. It took 5 minutes and the owners instruction to even acknowledge me in the store. The girl was gathering fruit and her butt crack was hanging out plus she was grabbing the fruit with her hands and not any gloves. Her boss had to tell to help me after I asked, "can I have some service?". The girl then precedes to wipe her hands on her jeans instead of washing her hands. At that point I was absolutely done. You definitely have to try this place. I think it taste better than the traditional mangonada. It's made using mango sorbet instead of ice. I love it!! The kids get ice cream. Kid size is cheaper. Barely anyone here whenever we drop by while driving to Fresno. I recommend trying this place out! read more

We went on a Taco Tuesday and I will never go again. The tacos were pretty good, but not better than my favorite taco truck. And it took 40 minutes to get my order of two tacos and two empanadas. I understand they make things fresh but they need to come up with a better system to make things more efficient because that is just ridiculous. The empanadas are greatly lacking in meat. We also ordered a side of rice and beans and the beans were supposed to come with cheese on top but did not, they were also extremely cold. When we asked her for an order of warm beans she took the beans we had left in the little container and microwaved them and gave them back instead of getting us a fresh order. I was intending to order one of their specialty mango ice cream thingies but I didn't feel like putting up with the wait. read more

I have eaten here numerous times. They have taco Tuesday and it's hard to pass on 1$ tacos. Burritos are ehhhhhh ok. Their meat in everything is kind of bland. This place also takes forever to get your food and very rarely do they get your order right, even when your the only one there. Absolutely wonderful for a fresh yummy dessert. I stopped in because I had seen an ad on Facebook and had a picture of the mangonada. Let me just say...I am hooked. I crave it every day. Mango sherbet, chili and lime seasoning (I ordered mine hot) with fresh sweet mango chunks. Served with a tamarind and chili coated straw and a spoon. I ordered just the regular size.
