Food was very good! Kiosk ordering was easy. Don't go here if you are on any timeline. Food was very slow to come out.

Delicious chicken and exceptional fries! Service was decent and this spot has a nice outdoor patio which was perfect. Can't beat their $20 happy hour special that included a 24oz beer with the tenders.

Was in town for a conference and decided to get quick lunch down the street. What was supposed to be a quick lunch turned into an hour long thing because they gave my food to someone else and had no apology. The food itself was great with decent size.

1-2 stars. We Doordashed this. I got the Original Hot Chicken Sandwich, Medium Spice & French Fries with Ranch. The fries are one of the worse fries I've ever had. In N Out & McDonald's fries are better than this. The fry literally squeaked in my mouth, they were tasting quite stale. Do not recommend! The Original Hot Sandwich doesn't have a LICK of heat to it. The slaw was honestly pathetic because I didn't even get more than 6 strands of shredded cabbage. It wasn't even a slaw, just looked like the pre-bagged mix you get a Vons. They give maybe 3 thin slices of pickle. Very skimpy here, no flavor. The breading however was crispy & chicken wasn't overdone. I think it's a good base, just needs more flavor, more oomph, more heat. And of course more slaw and pickles. I guess I would go up another heat level or just go to their max heat lvl. And I think jalapeños are spicy, so that's saying something with their scale lol. We also got the 10 Piece Chicken Nuggets, Buffalo Style and while it has a great amount of meat to it-- it was sooooo DRYYYYY. Even while coated in buffalo sauce. If this is Houston TX standards for Hot Chicken, I don't want it and I would NOT recommend it either. Unless you like disappointment and wasting your money.

Food came out cold and service was okay. I had pass through here before and always wondered. I should have stayed wondering. Three stars because they were paying really good music.

Hot chicken is usually a hot topic (wink, wink) lol it was aight if I'm being honest. I ordered the 10 piece mild with fries. The fries were salt-eeee! I'm sure it was the time I ordered my food (7:30p) and maybe I ordered the wrong thing Overall I encourage you to try it for yourself but don't get your hopes up

Spicy nuggets and sauce - which is way too sweet.

Terrible food. The chicken just tastes like it was just smothered in all the spices with no care at all LOL. It was way too spicy, workers are just playing with each other and not providing any assistance except for a young Black woman who I saw helping some guests. Terrible food don't come here just go to Dave's Hot Chicken lol. The sauce is also like a cheap knockoff of Dave's Hot Sauce. You cannot enjoy this food to be honest

I was staying at the Hard Rock hotel so I decided to pick up something from here since it was a 2 minute walk away. Ordering online was very easy and it wasn't a busy night, so my order was ready in about 15 minutes. When I went to pick it up it was ready to go. But I noticed I had a couple sauces missing. When I went back to ask for it, the staff just kind of looked at me without asking what I needed. Finally I flagged someone down and they gave me what I ordered. When I got back to the hotel the food looked just as it does in the pictures. But unfortunately my fries were underdone and hard. Also the MEDIUM is HOT! It was so hot that I couldn't finish it. I do like spicy foods, but I don't know maybe I don't like spicy as much as I thought. I also got the Mac and cheese which was ok. The flavor of the sauce was good. But the texture was dense. My kids did like it fine enough though. The tenders were fine, just a little bland without the sauce. Other than that, everything was decent.

The restaurant is a small walk-in "order at the counter" restaurant in the Gas Lamp Quarter District of San Diego. Appeared to be very busy and popular on a Friday night. The restaurant was clean and has some tables for seating. We ordered the two tender meal with one Medium tender and one Honey Butter. The Honey Butter didn't have much flavor and the Medium tender was good. The dipping sauce was really good, they only give one cup in an order so I would recommend ordering extra. The pickles also tasted house made. Overall, the food was good, however we had to wait 35 minutes for a one plate order and I don't think it was worth the wait.

This is my first time trying this establishment and let me say it was outstanding. I ordered the chicken sandwich with one tender and fries and a soda, and it came out hot and well presented . The food was made to my request, and the staff brought it out to me and let me say it was full flavor extremely fresh . The staff was very friendly and helpful and courteous and the inside there's some seating inside and there are some seating outside so if you're walking by, you'll definitely be able to find an open seat around lunchtime hopefully . The inside was clean and the decor was pretty cool to look at.

Chicken Sandwich and Tender - $15.99

My sister and I stumbled across this restaurant while walking through the Gaslamp. We stayed at the Pendry last year and don't recall this restaurant being here so it may be new. We visited on a Saturday for a late lunch around 1:10PM. It took ~ 20 minutes to get our food as the restaurant was busy. We both ordered the Chicken Sandwich and Tender Meal ($15.99) and a side of Coleslaw ($3.75). We both like spice and ordered both of the sandwiches spicy level, one tender spicy level, and one tender lift-off level. We both liked the kick of spicy level and both agreed that we could've done both the sandwich and tender at the lift-off level. We were both scarred from our dining experience at Hattie B's in Las Vegas where we ordered our chicken one level below the hottest option and couldn't finish our meal. The house sauce that comes with the meal has a nice tangy Sriracha flavor and was a nice compliment to the crinkle cut fries. You order on a kiosk and the food gets delivered to your table. The gentleman that served us was extremely friendly. We dined on the outside patio and were able to enjoy the fresh air and people watch. Note, there are a number of homeless people roaming around so just be aware of your surroundings.

The aioli they use is to die for -- can't hurt to get a side of it with any sandwich! The restaurant is situated on the corner of Park Blvd. and Polk Ave. (more generally, it's on the strip of Park Blvd. between University Ave. and El Cajon Blvd.). There is usually a good amount of parking on Park Blvd. and Polk Ave., which is nice. The space has a simple-yet-tasteful modern design and interior, is always clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Great for lunch hour or a weekend date. Update: Came back today with my friend and we ordered the B3 and the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwiches, plus sides of potato salad and cucumber salad, and a double chocolate cookie with pistachio and sea salt. Everything was really good, but the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwich was the star of the show. The cookie was great too. We both agreed the potato salad could use some salt, but besides that it was a solid meal all around.

I used to frequent Fatboy's because it was close and convenient for a long time, but I am rarely able to visit anymore... parking is a bigger challenge every day in North Park, and finding even a 15-minute spot takes way longer than the drive for me now (but the walk is too far to pick up a quick meal). Today I was down the street for something else so decided to order a sandwich. I was excited, then my jaw dropped when I saw the price increases. It's $18 for the North Park Club now, with no extras. I already had a hard time justifying $15 for a sandwich but I'm officially, 100% priced out now. I know it's not necessarily on the business owners; rent is exorbitant in NP, profit margins are small in the food service industry, and operating costs are high. Our city is eating itself alive, but thank you for the years of sandwiches!

While in the SD Gaslamp area today (6/6/26), I was looking for a good Breakfast Burrito…read more.. Alas, I stumbled on Cloud 9 Deli & ordered the "Big City Wrap" IT WAS HUGE & DELICIOUS ! Lotsa stuff (everything I want in a breakfast burrito & plenty of it!) T'was prepared fresh - when I ordered it & was way worth the wait!!! Tasty House Blend coffee completed the meal. Great vibe, swing music in the background made for a pleasant stay. I could see the foot traffic here is for a reason (many folks look to be repeat customers!). All the food comin' outta that kitchen looked amazing. The menu is straightforward & service was great! The owner was there, greeting everyone & keeping things moving along with a smile! I'll def be back to try one of them delicious lookin' Sandwiches (French Dip!!!) Ooooooooo man! Bravo Cloud 9
