I rarely post a review, but the experience we had yesterday at How Ya Dough'n was exceptionally great! I had heard about this pizza spot from a Facebook page and since we were in the Boca area, my kids and I stopped in for a quick slice. We were welcomed with a warm greeting from Alison, ordered the OG, and while it was cooking Alison so kindly welcomed my kids to check out how the pizza cooks in the huge pizza oven. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The sourdough bread crust, the daily-made fresh tomato sauce, the mix of mozz and havarti, the cook on it perfect. GO TO THIS PLACE!!!... Alison was just the best, and the owner should be so proud to have her on his team! We left there totally surprised in all the BEST ways! Delicious, fresh pizza and warm and genuine hospitality. As you walk in, you encounter Super friendly staff. I looked at the menu ahead of time so I kind of knew what I wanted, but they reviewed the options with me which was great. This place was a recommendation from a friend so I expected good, but it was great! The sourdough dough nuggets, as well as sourdough pizza crust were out of this world. Based on other pizza places, the size was average, but it is extremely filling, so the size turned out to be perfect. There is actually no comparison to your regular pizza place. We are so glad we found this place and will be back often and highly recommended to anyone who likes pizza!! read more

I think we found our favorite or favorites for FL pizza!! First of all, this little corner shop is worth the drive and effort to get there. You can order ahead, & it looks like most of their biz is carry out, but there is a small counter and lots of picnic tables outside. Gary was hard at work making pizzas, but he was still super welcoming and friendly when we arrived. He seriously scores huge points for his houseamde from scratch caesar dressing and pesto sauce!! If he would bottle those up, I'd buy them by the dozen! We ordered an OG with sausage and pep, a vodka, and a garlic pizza (no bacon, add chicken), and every single bite was amazing! He's got that sourdough crust cooked to perfection! We also got the caesar salad and some dough bites, and they were super tasty!! That salad dressing was so authentic, it has just the right bite! This place is a hidden gem! The owners are absolutely phenomenal and the pizza is mind blowing deliciousness! The story of this place is one of pandemic struggle turning into a success story! I'm going to be talking about one of his specialty pies but you can always go and try anything that you'd like! I went for the one-year anniversary block party on Friday August 12. I ordered the pep 2.0 and it was truly everything a delicious pepperoni pizza should be! Pepperoni was crispy, fresh mozzarella was stringy and delicious! Their housemaid marinara sauce is absolutely to die for and this specific pizza featured garlic confit. All I wanted to do was eat every single clove of garlic before I even put the pizza in my mouth. The dough that they make by hand is a special sourdough crust. As someone who has a gluten intolerance, I will tell you that this crust does not make me sick! I try not to eat anything that has gluten in it but the way that the sourdough is made really makes a difference. If you don't like pizza that is "chard "then don't get this pizza. It is cooked in an old world oven and absolutely bubbly charred perfection! I forgot to add, the salad is fantastic! The dressings are made in the house and that Caesar dressing is so tasty! Incredible fresh made sourdough pizza! My favorite was the OG but the Prosciutto was a close second. This is easily one of the best pizza joints we have been to in South Florida! The pizza has Italian cheese from a local distributor. This place is very modern and industrial looking. Love the look of the pizza oven! The staff is super friendly and enthusiastic about their product. They talked to us about where we are from and we were able to suggest some good eats in Jupiter. We will be coming back for another pie on our next trip to Boca! read more

We were supposed to attend the recent Yelp event but we were unable to make it - we've been wanting to try it ever since. Tonight, we ordered (and picked up) a large Hot Mozz pie. It was delicious! The crust and toppings were on point. The dough made it - definitely the star of the pie. It was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Incredible! If I could make a minor suggestion it would be to have a GF option. It's easy enough to do and we would have bought two pies tonight if they offered a GF option. Add this place to your "Pizza is life" List. It's a MUST try. I don't suggest getting it to go , I have always found it best to try it right after it's prepared. My experience was exceptional from the second I walked in the door. I was greeted by both pizzaiolos when I walked in the door. They both mentioned to start with the "original margarita" and if I wanted to build on it from there. After mentioning the style of sourdough crust, how they use only jersey tomatoes for the sauce so it would not be very acidic. I opted to be a purist and just go for the original so I could really get a taste for the pizza. All the while it was being made, and in the oven we were talking about different pizzerias locally and the different styles. This was an awesome sign for me, because anyone that cares that much about different styles and types of pizza I knew I was going to end up with a great pie. When it arrived, I knew immediately this place is the real deal. Excellent tasting tomato sauce, Fresh mozzarella cheese, and drizzled with olive oil. When I saw the basil on the top intact, but properly placed over the pie and not burned... I knew these guys know what they were doing. Crust was cooked crunchy on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside, add that sourdough taste. Overall, the pie was fantastic and I definitely will return. Very eclectic selection of food on the menu and lots of beverages, both adult and non. My wife loved the Pistachio Pizza and my kid raved about the White Pie. I had a very tasty Ceasar salad with grilled chicken. They have two little tables out front and some seating at the counter where you can sit and watch the pizza makers do their thing. The thing I liked the most at How Ya Dough'n was the service. That's saying a lot cause honestly we really liked everything about our visit the other day. This new pizzeria opened up in my part of town recently and I really wanted to give 'em a chance. It's a small mom and pop kind of place so it cost a couple dollars more than a chain, but I had heard the pizza was darn good. We stopped in and ordered a couple pies. The guy who help ed us was real nice. We got a Peperoni and a "OG". The Don't play around with exotic pizzas here for the most part, just classic pies. We ran one quick errand and when we came back 10 minutes later, done! We ate them almost right away. I would suggest you do so as the crust is amazing and thin, so cools off quick. By the 3rd slice it had cooled off which was actually fine with me. The peperoni was the flavorful quarter size kind and I had asked to add olives, and they added those kind that are sorta green but have plenty of flavor. I didn't try the OG but my daughter raved about the crust on that one too. It made for a great movie night. read more
