We had two lawn mowers that we were hoping to get repaired so we brought over one after speaking with a very nice younger gentleman on the phone. He walked me through the process and I explained that the mower deck was getting caught and need repair. We had taken the deck off so we could view it better and I had asked the gentleman on the phone if they would like it put back on before bringing it over. He replied no, it'd be easier off. So we brought all the clips and screws for it so they had all the parts. Two weeks after we dropped it off, I called to get a status on it and another man picked up and gave me the run around that if I didn't have two weeks to wait for it, then I shouldn't have dropped it off. That was fine, it was still early compared to other places. I was just going off the time frame someone else said to me. He then mentioned he should get a chance to look at it in the next week. Alright, fine. After four weeks, I called again, and alas, was told that he had not looked at it because he spends 90% of his day on the phone and can never get to working on any lawn mowers. He then mentioned he'd get look at it the next week. Finally after 6 weeks, I called and he still mentioned that he hadn't looked it and kept mentioning that us bringing it in "pieces" made it harder for him after we had asked if they'd rather us put it back together. He once again mentioned spending more time on the phone than being able to work on the motors. I finally just said I didn't want to be rude, but that we would be coming to pick it up. At this point, the man was blatantly rude stating that I was more than welcome to pick it up and wait 9 weeks somewhere else, then hung up on me. I read the reviews before coming here, they say he does good work and has fair prices, and I don't have anything against that, I am sure he does fine work. However, the customer service of the business is disorganized and rude.

I always buy used. About 8 years ago I bought a lawnmower for $70 from MM, and it worked better than my new Husqvarna. I went back after 8 years and bought 2 more used mowers, one for me and one for my GF. One worked great and the other didn't. But he honored his warranty and was very polite. Maybe Larry has mellowed out. He's kind of hard of hearing, so maybe his telephone skills aren't the greatest, but you'll find a different setting when you visit the store. He sort of reminds me of Brooks from Shawshank :-)

Had it picked up and carried to Joe Hill's lawnmower shop, even though they really don't work on Kubota's, within a matters of hours they found a stripped flywheel pin or key, fixed it and delivered it to my house. $3000 job at Rhinehart Equipment turned into $215 fix by these people. Great service dept. and very nice and honest people.

Horrible experience... Purchased 3 doors with installation…read morein April from Home Depot (RF Installations installer). Install company, RF Installations, damaged doors on 1st install attempt, left the site without arranging to reinstall, didn't contact me to reschedule. I had to get HD project expediter involved to reschedule. 2nd install attempt - install company cancelled the same day as install scheduled. 3rd install attempt, doors and trim were damaged and the work crew ran over a can of great stuff spray foam which exploded and covered my driveway and landscaping with spray foam. Crew tried to use water to clean it which, of course, didn't work. They left without talking to me about it. Cured spray foam is now bonded to my driveway and is a huge mess. I have been dealing with this project since April. The issues were expedited to the Home Depot Project Support Team where I was getting good support from their expediter. I emailed him this evening about the latest fiasco and found out the entire Project Support dept no longer exists. Home Depot says call the local office. I know how that will go. No one in charge, and no one willing to take responsibility for making the contractor fix their mess. If anyone at Home Depot is reading this and would like to discuss, please respond. Home Depot is my go-to supply store. But they ruin their reputation by having third rate, mediocre contractors do the work.
