Pizza with pepperoni; goat cheese, and honey
    Jennifer C.

I stopped in here for late lunch on sunday with my son. Service was awful. From what i can see, the restaurant was fairly empty but everything was so slow. I had to ask for someone to take our order. And same for getting the check. When the check came, i immediately put my card in and the server still didn't return in a timely manner to pick it up. The food was fine. I got the pizza with pepperoni, goat cheese, and honey- it was a bit overly crispy for my taste. My son's pepperoni pizza was pretty good. Overall, the service does not make me want to return.

    Morning Glory Pizza

Service was a little slow but the waiter was attentive and helpful. The inside is very modern and the booth where we sat was near the patio. The patio looks like it would be nice on a warm day but today was to cold. The parking lot was full due to construction so it took a while to find a spot. I tried the shrimp and grits, man mosa, ice toddy, chicken fingers, morning glory pizza, and the ice tea. I recommend the drinks, morning glory pizza (with pepper and salt) , and chicken fingers. As for the shrimp it came out overcooked. The sauce was great and the grits, not as creamy as I wanted them to be. Ranch sauce is also a nice touch and I was thankful to the waiter who gave my daughter options without being asked too. I don't know if I would come back but this wasn't bad. I'm just not sure what I'm interested in trying next.

I was brought here on a lunch date and was not disappointed for a first try. Parking can be ehhh but we found a spot in the conjoining parking lot that could be validated for 2 hours. Warning, you must start the parking session and then get the code to comp. the time. Of course, I'm going to get straight into the drinks + food because that's what we are all here for! :) To start, drinks: White Sangria: 7/10 (not super potent but the flavor was nice, sweet, and almost creamy as if a nectar or natural purer was used) Rosemary Paloma: 2/10 (now this was strong which I don't mind, but there were no real notes of rosemary or grapefruit. Almost like a club soda) Georgia Peach Mojito: 6/10 Love that it was a natural peach flavor versus a thick syrupy additive but nothing special Now on to the food which was where they shined more in my option: 1. Sunday Breakfast Plate (scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, chicken sausage, and a biscuit): 7/10 2. Crispy Brussel Sprouts: 11/10 (THAT MISO SAUCE WAS PERFECT AND HAD SUCH A RICH UMAMI FLAVOR PROFILE) 3. French Fries and Housemade Ranch: 9/10 the ranch was stellar and so tangy 4. Red Fish Ala Plancha: 8/10 ( The fish and potatoes could have a bit more seasoning and I believe even doing it as a whole fish would add the flavor back in) 5. Fettuccini Alfredo w/ Fried Chicken: 7/10 (I love the texture of the noodles and the creaminess of the sauce but needed some seasoning. Also was a fan of the light breading on the chicken) All in all, will return to try more but seems a little seasoning might go a long way to make it a repeat in my arsenal. Hope to see you soon Howell!

Mango Margarita(sans spicy) and Old Fashion

Stopped in on Saturday after a few hours at Bobby Jones. We must have been the first few customers for dinner service, we were seated quickly. Big shout out to Josh, our server-he is fantastic! So patient and considerate with our first time questions. Started w cocktails: Mango Margarita(sans spicy), and an Old Fashion. The smoked mozzarella sticks were a hit with our teen! The smash burger and tavern burger were also very good. BYO Pizza was decent, a lil pricey when you add up the $3 per item charges. Save room for the chocolate lava cake! So good, not overly sweet..perfect! We loved our first time experience and will be back to enjoy the spacious patio area.

Great place to sit and eat dinner with friends! If you're in the mood for a classic North American gastropub environment with solid food this is the place for you, ample seating and good options. I liked the pho egg rolls! A different (larger) take on a classic spring roll. I also enjoyed the salmon here! Nice and tender, juicy, over a bed of curry-like sauce with veggies (to make you feel healthier)

First time checking out Howell's Kitchen and Bar. We came for brunch to celebrate my mom. The interior is beautiful. Very spacious and open. Our server Dre was great. My family is full of talkers and Dre did a great job of popping in to be helpful while being respectful of our conversations. The food was really good. I enjoyed the hangover hash. Could've used a little ore flavor but it was still good. The espresso martini was great. The bread pudding with the ice cream was the highlight of the meal. Dense, moist and full of flavor.

Clicker chicken was fantastic sandwich with good amount of slaw. Very important to me! We come to this place all the time and the service, food, ambiance is great. Outside courtyard area with fans and tvs is fantastic for summer time. The pizza is always hitting the spot I usually get that and this time we got calamari. I was very impressed- the batter or breading is crispy and cooked to perfection. They did change parking so you need to get it validated because it will cost a few dollars if you do not. They will give you a code at the hostess stand

The food was very great and fresh . We got a server very quickly and were able to order food in a moderate time . They have lovely dine in and out location great for family and pet friendly.

Smoked Mozzarella Sticks and Grown Up Chicken Tenders

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this business yet! I've been to Howell's numerous times and every visit has been pleasant. Ironically, the last time I had food from there was after ordering via UberEats so these are the only pics I have for now. The menu consists of elevated bar food and delicious pizzas, beyond your ordinary options. The cocktail menu is also well thought out. For my delivery order, I kept it simple with a Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. I always come here for my mozzarella stick fix because I like the slight smoky flavor and how these are more like logs than little sticks. Really, all the food is solid. And I love the ambiance...not too stuffy but far from a hole in the wall. And everyone's been super friendly every time I've been here.

    Philly cheesesteak pizza
    Timia W.

I'm writing this review for the pizza and the pizza only!!! OMG the Philly cheesesteak pizza is the BEST pizza I've had probably in my life. The flavors were so unique (there's spicy mayo drizzled on top) and blended together so well. It was light and refreshing but still filling. Creamy as well. I had to go back 2 days later to have it again. This was a seasonal pizza but I pray to the Heavens above that they make this a regular menu item. The service was also great and I enjoyed the atmosphere in the building. Quiet and slightly cozy but still spacious.

As someone who bakes a beautiful honey butter cornbread, I was unbelievable disappointed, and underwhelmed. Now let's talk service: Absolutely . Train your staff to be attentive. My waitress was sweet, but every time I needed her I had to call someone else to fetch her and she only had two tables. The restaurant was empty otherwise. Hire staff who can regulate their emotions. The bartender was all over the place, cussing, spewing frustrations about another colleague. Then a new bartender came and he was spewing frustrations about the previous bartender. It wasn't appropriate for a place of business.

Our daughter spent the first few minutes waving at the staff, and they genuinely lit up every time -- such a warm, welcoming vibe right from the jump. Starters We kicked things off with the she‑crab soup, and that's when we knew the meal was going to be special. Tons of rich crab flavor and chunks of crab. The crispy shrimp toast was another hit -- crunchy, savory, and a great pairing with the soup. We also ordered the Baker's Dozen oysters, chef's selection. All 13 were fresh, clean, and briny in the best way. Next up: the Spanish octopus, and honestly... top five octopus dish we've had. Cooked perfectly -- tender, melt‑in‑your‑mouth texture. The salsa macha added just the right amount of heat, and the marcona almonds brought a great crunch with the cilantro, lime, and mint brightening everything up. What a beautifully composed dish. We finished with the Halibut and Lady peas. The Halibut was topped with lobster and served with a lobster butter sauce, chives, and capers. Rich, buttery, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The lady peas (fava beans, asparagus, and a generous mound of blue crab) were another standout. So much flavor, but everything complemented each other instead of competing. One of those sides you keep looking for more of when it's gone. --- Overall Every dish was thoughtful, balanced, and executed at a high level. We came here for a birthday dinner celebration and we met with great customer service and a lovely atmosphere. There was a jazz trio performing, and the ambience of the restaurant was great. We were seated in an area that had a lot of traffic so some of us were bumped multiple times by servers, food going over our heads, people swinging their jackets, it just seemed as if the tables were a bit too close together. The food. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, the fried green tomatoes, and the pork belly. All of these were delicious, though we did feel like the tomatoes could've been a little crispy. The Carolina gold sauce on the pork belly was a nice tangy combination with the protein, and the shrimp had a surprisingly good sauce. The issue that we fell into with two urban licks were the mains ... We felt that the rotisserie chicken was a bit dry, and flavor was confusing as it was presenting as tandoori, but had an underlying flavor we just couldn't get into. The market fish on the menu for the day was a red snapper, and it didn't come with any sides, but it seemed like the fish was simply fried in the oil and it didn't have any seasoning or underlying flavor which we were disappointed in. The Hawaiian wahoo fish was a bit overcooked, and the "jerk" short ribs leaned more habanero salsa in the taste. The coconut rice and peas that went along with it was also dry, without coconut taste, and missed the mark for us. We are Caribbean and this was a disappointment to experience. The description on the page oversold it just a bit. We were able to call the manager, and they removed the chicken dish from our bill and took half of the final price of the short rib from our bill as well, and that was appreciated! Looking around the restaurant, it seemed like everyone was enjoying their meal, though we could never know what conversations were being had at those tables, and it just seems like this restaurant was not for us personally! Great service, but due to the food, we don't plan to return
