Very spacious and with plenty of seating inside and out. I got the spicy mango drink and it was very good! The appetizers we tried were all different and unique. The mozzarella sticks could of used more cheese and were a little dry so not my favorite. The seafood dip had great flavor and was a perfect choice. My husband and I love going to Howell's. The food is always great, the servers are friendly, the drinks are always superb and even the valets are nice. We did have an odd experience tonight, however. We came in later on Sunday night, about 9ish. We sat at the bar. There was glassware all over so we had assumed that a lot of people had just gotten up. The female bartender was at the far end of the bar talking and laughing with a man. We waited for a bit and before we could get any service we clearly saw her consume a shot. We came in on Friday night. Not packed but there were a good amount of people seated. Love the outdoor patio. Gave me a feeling of being out of town. We ordered a couple drinks and a salad to start and a Bee Me Up Scotty add sausage pizza. Didn't take long for the drinks and salad to come out but the pizza took much longer. We found out that they had to redo our pizza because they forgot the sausage. No biggie. Thankfully we had the salad to munch on. Pizza was pretty good. The spicy honey drizzle was a strong ingredient over the other ingredients. I didn't taste very many salami and pepperoni toppings so we were glad we added the sausage. The bonus was that they comp'd our pizza for it not being correct initially and having to wait. Wasn't expecting that at all. The hospitality and service gave them a 5 in my book! We finally made it back into Howell's and I am happy to report that things went much better this time and we actually got an opportunity to have a meal and cocktails! This latest visit was for a casual night out with a few friends who wanted a good salad and a martini. Me on the hand was looking forward to trying a pizza, more notably the "fun guy" pizza. This evening, we all got what we wanted! While I didn't taste the salads, they were good sized salads that both features a good size protein, toppings and dressings. The Fun Guy pizza, which is a mushroom pizza (get it? Fungi vs Fun Guy?) was absolutely delish! I added grilled chicken, which was a stellar move! Definitely happy that I finally got to try the food! Service was solid this go round as well. A few leaders checked in on us throughout our meal and our server was super sweet and helpful. She did seem a little overwhelmed, but we know how things are right now so we didn't make any issues out of it. She was good! The only issues from this visit that were minor were seating comfort and a martini...This visit we sat inside and was placed in one of the booths that sit in the area closest to the kitchen. I will say that if you are prone to sweating or being hot and bothered easily, I'd avoid sitting in this whole area. It was soooooooo hot and a couple of us were going through it sitting here. As for the martini, my friend ordered two and both came out in an odd glass for a martini and tasted watered down even before she got it. The Margherita pizza was great, good crust, fresh cheese and good seasoning. I loved my curry chik dish and added chicken that was seasoned well. Fresh peppers and the rice was cooked very well. My friend got the turkey burger with American cheese, though she got no toppings they did not season the burger well, if at all. I passed by this place while out and about one day and thought it looked super cute and decided to visit their website to see what all they have to offer. Seemed like a pretty casual and fun place to hangout so decided that my husband and I would stop by to check it out. I made a reservation via Resy and was excited to get to try a new spot. There was plenty of free parking available and while heading to the front door, we passed by the outdoor space which had plenty of seating areas, a fire pit, and several outdoor heaters so we definitely could've enjoyed a meal outside. We had already planned on sitting inside but in the future, I'd love to hang outside and the outdoor seating area is first come first serve so keep that in mind. When we walked in, I was kind of taken aback by how dim it was inside but the place was packed and lively with lots of patrons enjoying a Friday night out. The music was playing, the drinks were being poured, and I could tell this would be a goooood time. We managed to arrive about 10 minutes before our actual reservation time but the hostess was super accommodating and sat us pretty quickly. The waitress, Shannon, came over not too long as we sat down and was just super sweet and bubbly. She gave us time to look over the menu, answered a few questions, and took our order. We started with the mozzarella sticks and Korean beef spring rolls. Both came out quick and hot and we're delicious. The sticks had a nice crisp to them and the spring rolls, which I was a bit skeptical about, were so yummy. The combination of flavors were wellllll put together. I opted for the Philly which was delicious and a pretty big sandwich so I took my home. It came with fries and they were seasoned well and really good. All of this was Mid- Tier at best! Smoked Mozzarella Sticks: 5/10. Seasoned well and cheese was melted well. But they fried these way too hard. Which I didn't enjoy. Now it they were fried perfectly. I can see these easily being a 8/10. The Marinara sauce tasted store bought. Caesar Salad: 4/10! This was my biggest disappointment! It was simply the dressing that ruined it for me. If it was in house made Caesar dressing, then they used way too much mustard in making it. Made the dressing taste more like honey mustard than a Caesar dressing. In turn this threw off the whole dish for me and I probably ate one or two bites of my salad. The dressed ruined it. Philly: 6/10. Probably the best thing of the things that was ordered. Cheese was nice and melted and steak was cooked great! Lacked seasoning. If it was well seasoned this could easily be a top seller. With that lacking it just didn't taste like what you like feel a Philly would taste like. read more

Do NOT go here on a Friday after work unless you want to be surrounded by unbothered parents and their young children wandering around the restaurant unsupervised. My friend and I came here to relax and have a drink after a long week and were disappointed because we couldn't relax. We sat outside by the fire pit until it felt like we were at Chuck E Cheese. Kids were literally running around everywhere! More and more families with young children strolled up in droves! I love Howell's Kitchen and Bar! It's a such a great place to go for a lunch, brunch, or even a quick drink. The first time I went was for a birthday brunch back in June of 2023. I've been going back frequently ever since. I enjoy everything on their menu. Their seafood dip is amazing! For brunch, I enjoy their bananas foster French toast, and their burgers are also good as well. The location is great, in a nice place on Howell Mill right off I-75. The service is always great! I've never had an issue with anything at all. I will say that parking can be a con sometimes. There's a lot for the plaza that is very limited but there's multiple signs for additional places to park. read more

This was a great spot for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of natural light. The breakfast and lunch menu available had a wide variety of options. Same for their drink menu. They also have a couple good options for kids meals. The service was excellent. Our server was helpful, quick, and very nice. The parking situation seems like it could get tricky, but when we dined, we were able to easily find a spot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We love coming to Howell's for their outdoor patio. It's such a nice space, and in the right weather, it's a great atmosphere. We came here for a college football watch party, and while they had plenty of staff dedicated to our area, it seemed like it was a little chaotic and disorganized when it came to getting our check. We ordered The Goat pizza (goat cheese, veggies, and bacon), and while it was solid, it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had. We've been here several times before in smaller groups, and it's a good place to get some bar food and good drinks. They have good cocktails and a decent beer list, and all the other things you'd expect from a slightly-elevated bar menu. read more

This restaurant is located not too far off the highway and has a parking lot and a deck for patrons to utilize while dining. The layout of the restaurant itself is nice with lots of indoor and outdoor patio seating options that provide ample space for diners. I think I recall some folks on the patio had their dog with them, which I'm not necessarily a fan of animals at restaurants but they weren't too close to me so that was fine. I ordered the Howell's Burger with sweet potato fries to eat and the Queen B's Knees and a Figgy Fashioned to drink. The burger was good but I must admit that the cocktails were quite tasty, though the Queen B's Knees could have been a little boozier. I do not recall the server's name but they did an OK job overall. Would have been nice if they were a bit more attentive and came around to check on us more often. After months and months of rarely eating out, this was a great start for me. Beautiful patio and great for social distancing. I can't get enough of the mozzarella sticks which contained SMOKED cheese! The peach mojito is so good and I highly recommend that if you want "something fruity" haha. I gave this place a four-star review because of the ease of making reservations. I called around last minute for a big Group on a Saturday night is pretty much impossible. When I called here they were very willing to accommodate. No set limits on how much to order or no pre-deposit which is nice. When we got there parking wasn't too bad either because they have side parking and deck parking for residence but people use it to go to the restaurant as well. Funny story is one of our friends parked in the lot next-door which is from the post office and after hours they close the gate she got locked in luckily for her the back entrance gate was still open. The restaurant itself is very dark inside but they also have a big patio sitting area in the back. I heard they used to have a Brunch event on the weekends not sure if they still do. We sat right next to the open kitchen but it was chilly because people kept coming in and out from the outside patio. The manager was very nice and offered to move us even though we got all our drinks already. Everything on the menu that came out on the order table looked good so we ended up ordering all the appetizers! It look like everybody was ordering the mozzarella cheese sticks thought it would be special but I wasn't too impressed. My absolute favorite was the Garlic breadsticks they were so buttery and amazing! The nachos were really good too because I just love queso cheese! I like my cocktails on the sweeter side and every single cocktail we had there was made just right! They were all so good! And I am not a big drinker. The only thing is I asked for a pretty drink but all the drinks came out looking the exact same lol, not very pretty at all. Even the Mojito didn't have mints in them, weird! Maybe the kitchen was lacking all the garnishes, because on the menu they were all describe differently. Had a wonderful experience here. Such a cute little spot with an amazing ambiance! I did miss it when I turned in the first time, I feel like it's easy to miss if you're coming from I-75. It was a nice evening and my friend and I wanted to sit outside. We were told it was going to be a 30-40 minute wait, but it ended up only being about 15 minutes. We were seated next to a fire pit which was so nice and cozy. At night, it's more of a datesy vibe because the lights are incredibly low, but you can still have a great time with friends. It is not a spot for kids IMO. Customer service was superb! The bartender was attentive and fun. And when we went to our table, the waitress was really sweet and helpful. I also liked that all of the staff wore masks and didn't touch them to talk. The food was great and perfectly seasoned. We had the mozzarella sticks and salmon dip for appetizers , and I had the roasted chicken for the entree. The chicken...omg listen, it is to die for! My friend could smell the deliciousness from across the table. The brine is amazing. My only wish was that the broccolini would have been more tender. I had the Rosemary Paloma drink and a Long Island. The Paloma wasn't something I have to have again, but it wasn't bad either. The Long Island was made perfectly. Strong but tasty! I came here to celebrate a girlfriends birthday with a party of 4. It was quite busy for a Monday evening. The patio seating was open with lots of people. We opted to sit inside for the a/c on a humid summer night. There were large booths and some tables were blocked off for proper social distancing. Most of the staff had on masks and some had on gloves. I saw the bartender had his masks off at some point during the time we were there. We were immediately greeted and sat in a booth. Our waiter (Ronnie?) was friendly and took our drink orders. The westside cosmo is amongst us the favorite. Just a touch of sweetness and comes beautifully dressed in sugar rim and cranberry spear. Good for fall (or any season). We got dip trio and smoked mozzarella sticks for apps. Mozzarella sticks had a nice crunch on the outside and soft gooey cheese on the inside, but I didn't notice any smokey flavor. I did appreciate the dipping sauce was nice and warm. The dip trio was basic pick, guac and queso. Chips were thin, but crunchy. Nothing remarkable. We shared the PEI mussels, impossible burger and the heirloom pizza. The mussels were fine, not the best I've had. But the sauce was amazing. I needed more bread to drink up every last bit. The pizza was wonderfully crisp and the toppings were a wonderful pairing. The tomatoes and balsamic together were fantastic. They forgot the cheese on the burger, which would have put moisture on the rather dry patty. The bread pudding with caramel ice cream was the perfect ending to the meal. The bread pudding has rum or bourbon taste and the warm gooey bite was delicious with ice cream.
