The technician texted me with an estimated time of arrival and showed up on time, did a thorough assessment of the installation by previous tech and noticed the insulation was not installed and wires were not protected. He fixed the issue, ran the dishwasher and did not notice any leak. My belongings were neatly placed back under the sink. We didn't install new hoses because the ones that were installed were fine, but thinking back on it, I would have asked for the new hoses to be installed since I had the parts and it's a brand new Cafe dishwasher. I felt bad for asking him to pull out the dishwasher. I had a question about extra parts, which Greg and the technician responded immediately to! Save yourself the money and headache and hire a licensed and honest repair place. Call the manufacturer for service at least you know they'll stand behind their repairs. I went with them because they could come the quickest. The technician came out fixed the dryer and it stoped working after two loads. He came back out the next day and said it was fixed. Not even two weeks later it broke again. I am only available after 4:00 or any time on Friday or the weekend. They wouldn't make an exception to get me in during those times. They kept telling me they'll let me know when they can fit me in. It's been two weeks and still no call or refund for the repair that was over $200. Lesson learned and I'm out the money and ended up calling LG. read more

I sent a message to HR Appliance Repair yesterday and they were able to schedule an appointment the following day to check out my dryer that was not heating. The appointment was for 12-3pm. I received a text from the tech around 12:15pm saying he would arrive within 20-25 mins, and he did. Within a few minutes he had a diagnosis and a reasonable price for the part and repair. The cost of the diagnosis ($65) was rolled into the cost of the repair! Prompt, reasonable and personal service! I chose this business because they are local and family owned. Although there was only a few reviews, all but 1 was a 5 star, I chose them. I highly recommend this awesome local, family run business! Greg the owner responded timely on my Yelp Dryer Repair Project and was able to schedule a Tech to diagnose my Dryer issue the next day. The other Yelp companies were not avail until 4 days. The Tech (Malaki) came today within the scheduled window provided by Greg and diagnosed my Dryer issue within 20 min of testing. He replaced the part needed to fix the problem and vacuumed the lint accumulated behind my dryer panel. He was very courteous and you could tell he knew what he was doing. I went with this company because they had the soonest availability when compared to other local dishwasher installers. I got my quote on a Tuesday and had someone out by Thursday. Overall, 3/5 service. The technician ran behind another project and arrived 30 minutes after the arrival window. Our, install space was tight but he did manage to remove the existing dishwasher and install the new one quite quickly. A few things, we do not have an existing air gap and the technician just stated we didn't need one. But, there are reasons to have one. Might just not be work they do which the technician could just state instead. Anyways, my last issue was the lack of installation of the toe kick plate for the dishwasher. Initially, I can see all the wiring and insulation at the bottom of the dishwasher. I ask him where's the plate? He says your dishwasher didn't come with one. I literally see it on the box and ask him, what's that then? Then he says, "Oh the screws didn't line up so I didn't install." Then he proceeds to collect payment. So, after he left I installed the plate myself. The screws do align, I think he just didn't want to struggle on the floor to mount it like I had to do after he left. Overall, ok experience. I called because my dryer was making noise. My call was returned w/i a few moments and service scheduled w/i a couple of hours. I was notified when the technician was in route. Malaki showed up and was very pleasant. He took the t dryer apart, showed me the problem, had the piece in his truck. Charged me for service fee and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my dryer. They said it was the circuit board and don't have parts for it. They suggested to buy a new washer and said they will contact me later. So I took it on myself to figure what was wrong and changed the thermal fuse now the dryer works. It's been over a month and haven't heard from them. Update** I don't mind paying for the service fee, either way they checked all electrical fuse/wiring and said nothing wrong with it. But if your technicians were professional, I guess they would of known thermal fuse could possibly not power on the dryer which I had to YouTube/google myself. Also, one of your tech did say that thermal fuse didn't look right but the other tech said that's not the issue. They get one star for initial fast response. read more

The technician lacks knowledge about Samsung refrigerators, although he says he specializes in them, and tried to get about $1000 from me when all I needed was a $50 part. I have a Samsung Food Showcase refrigerator/Freezer and the fridge stopped cooling. I searched Google for a technician and ended up with this company because they claimed a $65 diagnostic fee that would be used toward the repair. The technician came out Dec 5th and did not bother to look at the condenser fan, although I told him via text the Samsung refrigerator model # and error code (C23), told him it was for the condenser fan, and sent a photo of the condenser fan. Upon arrival, he did not open the back of the fridge where the condenser fan is located at all. He said the door gasket was bad after I pointed out a tiny gap and questioned him about it. He immediately said the $82 door gasket would be sooo difficult to get because of shipping issues and told me he could get me an entirely new door (the freezer door with icemaker and display) for nearly $500 for just the part. I told him there was no way I would buy an entirely new door rather than replace the door gasket. I told him I would help him find the part (Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)) and asked him for the part number. He gives me a part number, then proceeds to tell me how he can get me a new but opened box refrigerator "for about $800, which is a great deal because it is about half the normal price" with just a little damage to it. I could not believe the nerve of trying to sell me an entirely new refrigerator rather than simply replacing the condenser fan, which retails for $50, and or gasket, which retails for $90... I began searching for the part online while he was in my home. He then collected the $65 and told me he would contact me the following morning when he found out if he could get the part. Meanwhile, the part number he gave me did not match anything on the internet, but I found the OEM parts on AMAZON and had them delivered. The following afternoon I had to contact him and big surprise, he could not get the door gasket and did not even bother looking for a condenser fan. I immediately knew the dude was keeping my $65 and had no intention of repairing anything. I asked him if he would still fix my fridge when my parts came in so that my $65 was not wasted. This is when he let me know "unfortunately, due to our policy we aren't able to install parts customers order." Naturally, he did not say that the day prior when he gave me the part number and watched me sit at my computer and begin searching for the parts, and naturally, he would not give me my money back. I hired a handyman to change the fan and nothing at all was wrong with the door gasket. No thanks to this company, my Samsung refrigerator now works perfectly. This company tried to take a small job that required a $50 part (retail) and make it into a $1000 win fall for themselves. Go with another company or be prepared to be taken for a lot more than an honest company charges. read more
