My serviceman George was helpful that was the only good thing about this dealership. The management team was unhelpful, inconsiderate, and displayed poor customer service communication. I was very disappointed in their professionalism and unsatisfactory response when I had to bring my new vehicle back because less than 12 hours of driving off their lot my check engine light came on while I was out of town. When I bought it back to the dealership they took it to be serviced and NO ONE called me to let me know it was ready nor did anyone in management come out to apologize or explain what was wrong with my vehicle. I called the GM to express my concerns and I felt that he wasn't going to do anything about it. This management team (GM & Finance) needs to take customer service training and do better with how they treat their customers. For this reason I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone....lack of compassion and respect!!!! read more

Deceptive people. cover engine problem. Claim the tire light was because of low air, which was not true. Air was put in tire and system stated that tire system needed to be corrected. Deceptive service practices. They will charge you a $190 diagnostic fee but not tell you before they do. Asked them to listen to and quote a wheel bearing replacement because I could hear the bearing making noise. They put it on their lift while doing an oil change, spun the wheel, and said, "yep, needs a bearing" Then they charged me $190 for 5 minutes, plus $110 for the oil change. Then they said they would give me the $190 back if I had them do the repair. Reputable service department, right? So now, I'll share this on social media, file complaints with the BBB and attorney general, and file a small claims court suit. I may not get my $190 back, but I'm sure I'll cost them that just dragging them to court. Plus I'm never coming back and will share this experience with everyone. read more

Do not waste your time here, or regret it like I do. I want to give a shoutout to the sales guy in the photo - he was the only positive aspect of my experience at this dealership. Unfortunately, my interactions with Dylan, the sales manager, and Carley were less than satisfactory. Despite being told that a 2023 Prius was available, I drove all the way from Cary this morning - a 1.5 hour trip from my home near Fuquay - only to find out that there was no such car on the lot. I had tried to reach the dealership by phone without success, but was able to communicate via text and email. I made it clear that I was willing to buy a car that day if I liked it, as I needed a vehicle by the weekend. Unfortunately, it seems that my purchase won't be happening today, and I'm left with the option of either waiting a week to buy a car in Apex near my home, or traveling to Fayetteville to purchase one from another dealership. Additionally, the dealership owes me $30 for the gas I spent on this wasted trip. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership. read more

After ordering with the all the options I wanted and waiting a month for it to arrive excited we went to pickup the car with all insurance documentation I arrive to find out they had sold the car to someone else, it took a month to get my deposit back. Took my car to get an oil change from Hubert Vester Toyota. That is all they did. I was missing the service and care that I had received from other Toyota service dealerships. No lubricating fittings, top-off all oil fluids, etc. I walked away with just the oil change. Nothing extra. I left very disappointed. I will not be a return customer. If you show me you can't go the extra mile to service my care, how would you treat me as a customer who walks into your shop to buy a car? I'll pass. read more

Sale experience was awesome! However once my car hit 30,000 miles they said I no longer had free oil changes!! Which when I purchased my car I was told I had free lifetime oil changes, which I informed the lady at customer service when I was checking out. Her response is you will have to pull up the paperwork signed to show proof. I was like show proof??? I bought the car here, shouldn't that be on my file?? I was like whatever. Oh yeah also at 30000 miles they said I needed new tires . What kind of tires were on my brand new car that I bought that only made it 30,000 miles!! We were shopping for a pre owned car today. We found a car advertised for sale on their website. We communicated with the folks for about 1 1/2 days. They indicated they had the vehicle. We were told to come in and they would give us a great deal! We checked again about 1 hour before leaving Raleigh for the dealer. We were told they would pull the vehicle up front for us and to come on in! We drove 1 hour from Raleigh, walked in and were told by the " used car sales manager" that the car was sold on Thursday but that they had others for us to look at! {This was a Saturday}. He went on about the vehicle having to go in their shop which took a few days so they didn't know it was sold! And then that the people we were communicating with were "OFF SITE." Were we talking to someone in The Phillipines! We were attracted to this vehicle because it was supposedly personally pre owned and NOT an off lease, rental, Etc. We left the dealership and checked the website. It is STILL listed as on their lot and available for sale.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Can anyone say bait and switch?? read more

This is my second visit to this dealership. I have been here for service. I had a recall and they were very kind and courteous. I brought my car in to have it cleaned and they did a great job. I am very pleased. The seats were a bit damp and I am hoping that won't impact the smell of the car inside. I have an appointment tomorrow for an oil change. They don't go far and beyond, and the banks they have to offer are not good. Unless your credit is 650, then you get bad deals. However, the service after the sale is rock bottom at best. the claim the $499 DOC fee is required to do all the paperwork and processing for the car. If that is the case then why do I have to call after the 30-day tag is expired to get the tag sent to me? then I get a letter from the bank stating that the title was not sent to them. WTF Chuck. Untrustworthy, unorganized, and unaccountable The staff a Hubert Vester is so successful at selling cars that the only thing they have time for is money and unsold cars. Their customer service exists if they stand to make more money and even then it is only a facade. Their floor manager, James, will appeal to your humanity with personal stories and make promises for the staff's performance; his promises and his semblance of humanity do not exist after the final sales price is set. Failure to deliver the vehicle on time, failure to repair acknowledged damages, failure to provide maintenance records, and failure to provide vehicle registration can all be linked back to promises James made while negotiating the sales price. After speaking with James a month later, he promised to call back the following day with some solutions, yet he still has not called. The unreliable customer service is not limited to James. The office manager, Darius, also makes promises to call back or email but never does. The sales manager, Brian, also does not keep promises to call back. Other staff promise to email vehicle registration records on the phone, but never follow up. The last manager I spoke to, Gordon, would not even take responsibility to ensure someone ever called me back, only to pass a note. They will promise you anything to get you off the phone, just as they will promise you anything to squeeze a couple more dollars out of you before buying a vehicle. So, a month a half after I've purchased a vehicle from Hubert Vester Toyota, I do not have vehicle registration or any commitment from the staff to helping me drive on the road legally. Just a delay tactic, while I've been assuming the risk of being pulled over for weeks. As soon as they get their money they have no concern for their customers. Additionally, in the days after I purchased my vehicle they raised the list price online to artificially inflate the value of their used cars. I recommend if you choose to shop for a vehicle here to treat the staff as purely transactional in a fight over your money, with little regard for them as a person because they have none for you, they are performers in a play while it's real life for you. And get everything in writing, because they will not begin to consider a refund for not providing services you paid for. read more

The radio in my Toyota freezes. I was told by the service department that they would order me a new one through their warranty service. That was July 21st, I have since left 2 voicemails for Melissa (8-9-21 and 8-16-21) with no response. I also left a voicemail on 8-23-21 for Danny Meacomes (no response). So, I tried the GM (Winford Lee) on 8-25 and guess what, still no response. You have horrible customer service. I've left FOUR DIFFERENT MESSAGES for THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE and still got nothing. I went to Hubert Vester during Toyotathon because they had a good selection. Knowing what I know now, I would not do it again. They did not have the RAV4 we wanted so they had to order it from another dealer. They knew what we wanted including a roof rack, XLE and Sirius radio. When we got there the salesman, Darius Williams, started to show us the features. When he got to the radio he was surprised to find out it did not have Sirius. But he said he would make it right. He said he would talk to his manager and the Sirius rep. Over the next month, he repeatedly said he would take care of it. He said he spoke to his managers and the Sirius rep. After it became apparent he wasn't going to do anything, I started contacting his managers. Guess what, no response. So it is a company-wide behavior; no service after the sale.
