The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. If there's any knock against Docks, it would be that it was very dark inside, especially when it is light outside. Oh well, I enjoyed my visit.

The fries were good, as was the cobbler. But the coleslaw wasn't creamy like it normally should be. It looked like it had been made a couple of days ago. Drinks were okay, but the soda station literally stunk like old and sour something. My daughter used to work in fast food. She said the entire thing needs to be deep cleaned. I would agree. It should NOT smell like that!! There is no telling what people are getting in their drinks!! I don't know when or if I'll be back. Floor clean. Restaurant could be cleaner, staff friendly, know directions & cautiously friendly. Food well prepared & eager to please. They charge for all extras of course. We were surprised to be charged for tomatoes, when we did not want hashed browns, toast, gravy or grits. Other Huddle Houses would not have charged for them, since there was so much we did not get, which would have come with the meal. Our meal cost almost twice as much , due to the itemizing of our meals. Place is popular with repeat customers. Parking lot not negotiable at night, large holes in back of lot. Care must be taken.
