Biscuits were soft and fluffy under a delicious sausage gravy with plenty of salt and pepper in it. We walked in and were greeted warmly by multiple people. We got seated right away didn't have to wait long at all for our server. She was great at her job. Friendly and efficient. Our food was tasty. The Waffle and biscuits & gravy were good. My turkey sausage and scrambled eggs were over cooked and very dry. $12.99 was for small plate of scrambled eggs 2 sausage patties and a play sized waffle seems high, especially since the only thing that was edible was the waffle. To me the Huddle House is like the Mid-West version of Waffle House. My friends and I went for dinner and we had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and even told us to register for the Huddle House app to get a discount on our meal. The food was cooked fresh and right. I loved the stuffed hashbrowns. This is not a good place to be ordering ahead of time or online which is very inconvenient for lots of people. When you try to call the wichita location it immediately gets declined and when you try ordering online it says "could not contact location, order was not placed" extremely frustrating. Service was very good. The waitress was very nice. The food was good. Fast service. I had the Stuffed Hashbrowns. If they would have had homemade gravy I would have given them a 5 star rating. My Husband had the Smokehouse platter. We shared the Blueberry Bites. They were crazy good!! The only negative I have is the gravy is not homemade. It tastes like the gravy they serve at hotels. I f I could give a negative star review I would. My guest and I drove in town from Atlanta to attend a distillery event. We caught a taxi and were dropped off at the restaurant. While we were immediately greeted by an employee another employee comes over to us an reels us we can not be served. She asked if we had alcohol in our brown bag which we set on the table as to not forget it. We replied yes but it was not opened and we had no intent to drink it. We just wanted to order some food. At that point the older lady stated we had to leave. She said she would as her assistant manager but he heard him yell out "no, we will get shut down if we serve them." I was confused because out bottle was not opened. We offered for then to check it or even take it so that we could eat. She refused. Our server looked very confused as he stood there with our hot tea and water. I was taken back by the backward thinking of people but I looked around and it was clear, we were not being served because of the color of our skin. It was late night so we walked up the street to Burger King. They happily greeted us. Asked if we were dining in or carrying out. I asked about the bottle of liquor first. The manager laughed and said as long as we are not violating the open container law she was fine. We ordered our food and everything was great...at Burger King. We went today 5/27/19 around 11:30 am. The sign stated to "Please wait to be seated", we waited around 10 minutes. There was NO Hostess. I asked another couple (they were waiting) if they had been helped, they indicated NO they hadn't been helped either. There was another couple that walked in and just stood there. Still NO hostess. We finally left, after NO hostess or anyone else came to seat us. This was NOT a very good way to do business. I don't think we will be back!!! read more

I stopped here for breakfast this morning. I had the western omelet with Hashbrowns and White toast. The omelet was Bland as hell, it was small and it looked to have been frozen and microwaved to warm it up. The waitress was great. The restaurant was very cold and drafty. The menu was like that of village inn. The side salad was just a huge plate of lettuce and nothing else. Ordered the sirloin beef tips and mashed potatoes, it was burnt and cold. My guest's ordered chicken fried steak and baked potato, the gravey was awful and the meat was tuff and cold. The silver ware still had old food on it. We didn't finish our meals because the food and building were too cold. We all got sick later that night, stomach problems and I had diarrhea.
