They did us a solid and split our plates in the kitchen. This is the Thai steak salad. (half portion)

Awesome! Service 5 stars. Food craveable. Had lunch with my girlfriend and I almost went back for dinner to share this restaurant discovery with my husband.

Hudson 29 is another Cameron Mitchell staple! Featuring coast to coast fare, there are so many different delicious options to choose from! The service is excellent and professional and the atmosphere is great for a dinner with friends/family, a casual date or a business meal! The Gerber Farms Chicken is sooo good! The jus that comes with it has an unreal depth of flavor! The olive oil cake is the perfect dessert and Salmon was great too! Give them a try!

Let's call it 4.5 stars...somewhere between 'good' and 'great'. The food was tasty for sure. We kept it fairly straight forward the night I was there. To start we had the Queso & Guacamole app. Very tasty- not complicated and tasted as good as it looked. For the main dishes we had the Hudson 29 Cheeseburger and the Roasted Chicken salad. The burgers were really good. Tasted a bit like an elevated Shake Shack burger- total compliment. The parts aren't extraordinary but combined the fresh ground beef, cheddar and pickles all played nice to make for an excellent burger. I didn't order the salad, but tried it. It was excellent. Same idea here the salad was much greater than the sum of the parts. I had a seasonal/Fall craft beer. It was pretty good. Not great. Felt the beer selection could have been stronger. Service was great. Frankly, I wish I grabbed his name. But a total pro. The perfect amount of attentiveness. Good sense of humor but not a ham. He could give a class on great wait service. Ambiance was nice. Sounds basic to say it was a nice place, but everything just felt nice w/o trying too hard. A place where you should step up the attire a bit but no need to overthink it. Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink just works. I'm in from out of town and I look forward to coming back.

Wow another amazing Cameron Mitchell experience; have yet to have anything but a good one. Came in for a work dinner and we were seated in a private room which was nice as it made for an intimate space. Our server was very friendly and gave good suggestions on the menu. Had the Shanghai Sea Bass which was exquisite. The garlic ginger sauce that it marinated it was a perfect flavor complement. The fist itself melted on my fork as it was as tasty as it looks. Also had the smoked trout dip as an appetizer which was also delicious. Of note, convenient parking is in the garage just behind the restaurant. Bottom line another great Cameron Mitchell spot!

Was working a conference at Ohio State and realized that we had about an hour and a half for lunch. It was after the lunch rush around 1:15. I let her server know of the time crunch and she obliged. Food came out super fast and we got a chance to make it back to the conference just in time. I had a great steak salad and my colleague had a burger and fries. Both were super tasty. My steak salad, especially was great as it had mangoes and a number of different wonderful items over some lo mein. What a perfect combination. Would gladly come here again!

Great experience at Hudson 29 - the atmosphere is cozy and service was great. The surf & turf roll was a yummy unique offering. Plenty of cocktail and mocktail choices and an extensive wine list. The French dip sandwich was loaded with shaved ribeye and I opted for a house salad on the side, both were great! Looking forward to trying more Cameron Mitchell restaurants in the Columbus area.

Went here for a celebratory dinner and could not be happier with our experience. The service was excellent and they made our dinner so special. The food was incredible and we all cleared our plates. The atmosphere was lively and fun. A great spot for a nice date or celebration!

This restaurant felt closer to a chain than a fine dining experience. The steak was completely unimpressive -- and really, how do you mess up a steak? The seabass was even worse: overcooked, and when I uploaded a photo, Google's AI actually thought it was pork. The real problem, though, wasn't the texture, but the sauce. It was both too sweet and too salty, so overpowering that once it touched the rice, the whole dish was ruined. The appetizers weren't much better. The sushi didn't taste fresh, and the tuna tartare was drowned in sauce. The wine list was disappointing, especially if you're looking for decent oak-barrel reds -- hardly any good options to choose from. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, but the service was painfully slow. After looking around the room, it was clear our order hadn't been forgotten; everyone's food was taking forever. Expect at least an hour and a half for dinner, even with just two people -- a meal that easily could've been finished in under an hour. Overall: underwhelming food, slow pace, and not worth the wait.

I had a great experience at Hudson 29 for a birthday dinner! Service was excellent and with a reservation we were seated right away. Note that there's a parking garage right behind Hudson 29 that's attached to the restaurant. We started with some cocktails and the ahi tuna tartare. The crostini were amazing and the perfect vessel for delicious ahi tuna! For my entree I ordered the Hudson 29 roll of sushi, which I really enjoyed. And our server surprised me with the dessert options for my birthday! The berry cobbler a la mode was delicious and I found it so fun that they added a candle.

Prime rib special Fridays and Saturdays.

My husband comes for the prime rib specials Friday and Saturday. I come for the juicy, perfectly cooked Gerber chicken. However, the star of the night is the cobbler, soooo good. One of our favorite places to get great service at the bar.

We were given a Cameron Mitchell gift card and decided to go here for dinner. I offered the bolognese rigatoni. I knew the beef was shredded as opposed to ground per the menu description, I still think it would have tasted better ground but the flavors were very nice. Parking garage makes the restaurant convenient to access as Lane Avenue is bustling. Husband had burger and fries which he thoroughly enjoyed. We would happily come back.

A dark cozy atmosphere is what you'll experience as soon as you walk in. We sat at the bar which had plenty of space and nice views into the open kitchen. We visited during happy hour which meant great pricing on drinks and some of their apps. We tried sushi and the ribs. Both were delicious but the rib sauce was amazing. I really wish I could've taken some home. The service was great and we would definitely recommend this location to others.

Wonderful anniversary dinner. The food was really great and perfectly prepared. The service was impeccable as well. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star rating was the noise level in the dining area. As a wearer of hearing aids and for an anniversary dinner, the volume was uncomfortable for me. If you enjoy a trendy environment with a louder ambient sound level, you'll rate Hudson 29 5 stars!

Way too much but the wings were edible... and that's where edibility ends! The tofu with peanut sauce sounded good to me, but I swear they took a whole block of tofu and cooked it as one piece. The exterior was bland which meant the inner depths of said tofu was even blander. How do you make peanut sauce bland? The drinks had to be good, right? After all, they're also a distillery with their own craft whiskey. Nope... Epic Fail on the blandest old fashioned in Ohio (I'm guessing). If they're trying to showcase their whiskey... maybe they shouldn't. Just really not a fan. Other Old Fashioned fans in the dining party weren't impressed either. The margarita wasn't much better either. What about a refreshing peach dessert? I'll give you 3 guesses and they all start with B! You guessed it, so flavorless and the pound cake was dry! It was even dry if you were calling it a biscuit. If you're going to serve this, then maybe a peachy sauce to cut through the dryness. Oh, the description promises that, but it did not deliver on those bourbon macerated peaches by any means. Even Bowser would send this peach back! TLDR: Bland food, Bland drinks, Dry Bland Cake, and Bland Drinks (a no-no for a distillery themed place). So many other great restaurants in Columbus, but this is a pass from me.

Was able to split the Caesar salad, in which the dressing was more mellow and less acidic than typical Caesar dressing, but was accompanied with a charred lemon wedge to add however much acid your heart desires! The crispy potatoes albeit fried were extremely light, and the aioli complements well the shaved cheese placed on top. Then came the burger, with the fries being extremely crispy and perfectly seasoned. The burger was very good as well, but I could do without the mushrooms added. It is a wet burger as well due to the mornay instead of a typical slice of cheese that just sticks to the burger. Most importantly, the cocktails are FANTASTIC as always. A seasonal menu always gets created, with the staples of course always available, typically using their own products within.

I couldn't imagine better brussels sprouts it was crispy but also soft in the center so you didn't have to fight your way through eating them even good restaurants. I have good flavor and good sauce for brussels sprouts aren't as soft as these ones. This was great. Lamb chops: 6.5/10 - very sweet small lamb chops! Cooked well and had good flavor I just wasn't personally blown away. The Clover Club: 9/10 - knew exactly what I wanted. Had Monkey 47 which is the BEST gin for this drink. Wasn't the best one I've had but pretty close for it not being on the menu. Filet: 7/10 - a little Gamey but it was cooked well as it should be. Didnt have anything unique about it just was don't like a filet should be done. The carrot was cooked to perfection which brought her review up. The fried potato was also amazing best part of the whole dish, especially with whatever spread they put on it. The fillet was not the highlight the carrot and the potato were. Sea Bass: 1/10 - genuinely did not taste good very gamey very fishy took two bites didn't eat it. The soup it came in was a little sour not a good flavor would not recommend. Hamachi Crudo: 3/10 - we are sushi snobs so take this with a grain of salt. It could totally be something that you love, but I hate when somebody brings out a piece of Nigiri or sashimi and it's warm. This dish has potential the flavors around it were very fresh but the hamachi was room temperature when it should be ice cold and the flavors felt like an after thought. Menu: 4/10 - nothing to write home about when it comes to the options. A very corporate get what you expect type restaurant. They aren't doing anything revolutionary here Atmosphere: 7/10 - definitely a nice spot. It's very clean bathrooms are intimate and also very clean again. Nothing revolutionary here the demographic when we went was very old and corporate. Price: 5/10 - $340 plus idk... I feel like this was worth $180-$220 personally for the price I never complain about price anywhere I go out to eat, especially fine dining, but this place was overcharging for what they're actually giving for sure. Overall: 6.5/10 - I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't really care about Food that much and is wowed by like an STK or a more chain like "fancy restaurant" I was hoping to get more of a small boutique very intentional experience at this restaurant just based on the outside by the field, but it definitely feels like they've cut a few corners when it comes to building a really unique food experience I would love to come back and give it another try because maybe I just came at an off time.
