Worst Service I have ever received in my decades of eating out. Ordered the Sausage, peppers dish. Chipped my tooth on bone that was left in the Sausage. Pulled the bone out of my mouth and part of the tooth out on table and showed it to server. Server didn't apologize at all. Took it back to manager and manager comes out with attitude and first thing she says is what you want me to do about it. Like it was my fault. She said she gets the sausage from us foods and that i should do a complaint to them. I said you served it and you give me the attitude? They didn't offer anything like a discount or to take just that meal off the bill instead they said if I don't pay there going to call the cops. The manager kept arguing in front of her customers. So unprofessional. I was looking around at the customers eating and they all looked shocked how she was talking to us. My girlfriend got so upset and started to argue with her as well because how shocked of the service. The correct thing for a manager/owner would be to come over and apologize first. Than say that your going to do the complaint with the vendor sense we buy from them all the time. The next thing would be to offer a discount or at least a free meal or a desert or something off your next visit. Something to get us to come back again. Instead they would rather argue and loose a customer for life and a bad review than to just make it right. I am new to the area and she just lost us probably once a week customer for a long time. You should have made it right and have the customer leave happy so they come back instead of letting them leave upset. I am shocked how this was handled. First part of being a manager you make your customer happy and not let them leave upset. If you did the math you would have still left ahead if you at least offered a desert or something instead of blaming us food group and arguing with your customer. read more

Our new favorite restaurant! We went at lunchtime, and had the BEST hamburgers we have ever had!! Mine was with feta, basil, and balsamic drizzle done rare just as ordered! We started with the most delicious homemade seafood chowder, and we finished with amazing tiramisu!!! Our waitress, Arianna was so sweet and enthusiastic! Went to Hudson grill tonight. Has heard such great things about it. Food was good , service sucked, there were 3 of us my friend and my grandson . Server never came to check on us offer us refills or anything . Had to ask 3 times for boxes and check finally went up and got the box and check at employee door after waiting 20 minutes . Food was good however if server came back I would have told her my cheese could have been melted more . May give it one more try and avoid this server. read more

I almost never give a 5 star review because 5 stars means perfect to me. Nobody is perfect. However, in this case I'm making an exception. I haven't been here for years. Last time it was Stormy's. An acquaintance who works there told me about the new place. It's been completely renovated & upgraded. I had the Italian Wedding Soup. It was probably the best I've ever had. What can I say but again a really plain simple building of the beaten path . Hudson Grill is amazing . Beautiful crisp antipasto that we shared before we got hubby's favorite chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and I got a delicious creamy seafood risotto with mussels , shrimp and calamari rings all cooked perfectly . Johnny? Our waitress was friendly and attentive without hovering . Place is homey and clean . Nothing fancy but nice and casual . Normally we're more than pleased with our dining experience here but unfortunately last night's meal was disappointing. Being St Patrick's Day we were excited to head over early to Hudson Grill for their rendition of the traditional corned beef and cabbage meal. To our surprise, at 4:30 pm, they were already sold out! Not to leave without eating, my wife ordered the ribeye steak topped wedge salad and I the shrimp and crab fettuccine in vodka sauce. Her beef topper, although plentiful, appeared to be more like a shredded top round cut. The shrimp and crab sauce was great but under it was gooey glob of unrecognizable pasta something. As usual, our server was very pleasant and attentive to us throughout our meal. We're hopeful that this isn't the first time indicator that things in the kitchen are in decline. read more

The service here is always great. The food is made to order. Can definitely tell that this is a restaurant that the owners , who are also the cooks care a lot about what they serve their customers. During the week they have different specials and there meatballs are amazing. Do recommend getting there early as they do get busy. The back patio is also nice to sit because you can bring your puppy as long as you keep them on a leash. read more

I'm really glad that I finally tried this place. My friend and I had dinner and drinks there the other night and I was not ddisappointed. The food and service were fantastic. I ordered the lemon butter chicken - delish! My friend ordered a burger and fries, both were so good! My sangria was awesome, however it was mostly ice, so instead of a 2nd one, I switched to wine. The inside is a little cold, very open and not a lot of decor. But we were there for the food, not the sights. Out for a later dinner and finally decided to try the Hudson Grill. Slightly off the beaten path, this unassuming building with a simple sign has some of the best pasta and Italian dishes I've had in a really long time. The wait staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly. All of the food is made to order and made in-house. While I enjoyed my ribeye sandwich and the light, crunch, fresh baked bread, the wife's Salmon Alfredo was crazy good. The Alfredo was thick, rich and better than anything I've had or made myself! This is a casual diner with seating for larger groups too. There is a bar behind the dining room and seating outside. Reasonably prices food and drink. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

We always have a good meal at the Hudson Grille; however, a few of the wait staff are not very nice. We had dinner there last night and it was so noisy that we couldn't hear each other talk. Hidden in an industrial area of Hudson, this food was fantastic. Got the eggplant Parmesan, crab bisque, spaghetti and meatballs, and fresh focaccia bread. The service was a bit slow, but to be fair it was extremely crowded and the chef makes everything to order. Definitely worth the wait and although food was slow to come out, our server was super nice and funny. I was there Sunday night, and I ordered the wings and for my entrée chicken cutlet. The two sides that I ordered was mashed potatoes which I wanted gravy with and also a salad. And everything came at the same time.... really . I ended up taking my wings and my salad home because I didn't want my meal to get cold. The cork of the whole thing when I got the bill is they charged me $1.50 for the gravy. I thought it was one of those things that when you order mashed potatoes, you get gravy and you don't pay extra. . That waitress never paid any attention to me. Surprise, Surprise. What a hidden gem. Don't let the outside keep you from trying. Once inside, the waitress was phenomenal, and the place was clean. The food was the highlight, as it should be. Everything FRESH, excellent meatballs and home made. Better than mine, which is a compliment to them. Thursday is 1/2 price appetizers and I hope this restaurant stays around forever.
