They have a huge selection of ice cream that I will be returning to try next. The nachos were decent-the meat & beans could of been warmer. Street parking is available & they stay open pretty late for a good treat after dinner. You can feel the culture inside the store through the variety of snacks, the music playing & statues inside.

I sampled a couple of flavors Mango and Strawberry and my pick was Strawberry followed by Mango , as it was more sweeter compared to the Mango which was a bit more tangy . We also tried a few other flavors like chocolate with sprinkles and Honey comb . Honey comb turned out being the most popular among our group. I do have a gripe with the ube matcha, which is that it has next to no ube in it, save for a bit of syrup at the bottom of the cup that tasted much closer to berry than ube. I also bought a few rolls and a couple of pieces of Borracho, which were also good. Then I asked for a Pineapple Upside down cake that was in the case. All total it came to about $70,00. This was on Friday morning, June 19th. I came home, put the cake and the cookies in the refrigerator because I was going to take it to my brother's house the next day. The next day Saturday the 20th, I took a box of the cookies and the Pineapple cake to my brothers. I took the cake out of the box. Not only was it stale, but when my sister-in-law cut the cake, underside was covered in BLACK MOLD! Imagine my embarrassment for bringing stale moldy cake to give to brother and his family! I was thinking about going back with the cake and asking for a refund. But for the $10.00 I paid for it, it's not worth the aggravation. But that's the first and last time I go to Torino's. Apparently, they'll leave shit in the case to go stale and moldy and sell it to some sucker who walks into the place and buys it. That's no way to do business and maybe the health department should take a look at what's going on at Torino's bakery.

After grabbing some lunch a couple doors down, I popped in to get some pastries for Father's Day…read moreweekend. I was greeted when I walked in and I took some time figuring out what to get since there was a bunch of items that looked delicious. Some of the ones I got were carrot cake, strawberry cheese, and vanilla cake. The pieces were enough to share and the prices were really decent. It came out to around 13 bucks for everything. The staff was great with putting everything together in boxes and checking me out at the register. Everyone loved the pastries when I brought them back to where we were staying and snacked on them all weekend long. I can see why this is a favorite in the area and I'm happy I went in there at the last minute. The kids and adults from our crew approve of the sweet treats.
