Over the next two years, we hired two different companies to perform full removal programs. Both claimed they had fully inspected the crawl space and eliminated all entry points. Unfortunately, when the rats came back, neither company honored their warranties. We then hired 3 Step Rodent Proofing. During their inspection of the crawl space, they found and documented with photos all of the entry points they identified and sealed. In addition, the service technician discovered a water leak and showed us exactly where it was located. We would have never known about this leak without the photos he provided. We were shocked that the previous two companies never mentioned the leak, which turned out to be caused by a bad water pipe connection from the previous owners' remodel. After the work performed by 3 Step Rodent Proofing, the crawl space was rat-free. We did not see another dropping around the vents. About a year later, my wife thought she heard noises under the house. I was pretty sure the sound was coming from our HVAC system, but decided it was better to be safe than sorry. I contacted 3 Step Rodent Proofing, and they had a technician out within the week to evaluate the situation. They performed a thorough inspection of the crawl space and the house and found no signs of rats. They also told me to call them back if we saw any droppings or heard any new noises. Santiago came out, explained what was going on, what his company could and could not do. He also verified that the other company had straight out lied. (This was verified by a third company as well.) Santiago's team showed up a week later with 4 guys, they worked all day to seal any entries in both the attic and crawl space. They cleaned, disinfected and applied pheromone repellant. They then set traps with peanut butter. The crew lead by Sebastion was efficient, polite and helpful. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them and a friend has already used them as well. If I could give more than 5 stars to Humble Bee, I would!!!! Jason is a true GODSEND! My family had a real scare with a swarm of bees coming into our house through cracks in our wall. I had called around to numerous places and Jason (the owner) was the only call that was answered...on a Saturday, very late afternoon. He was not able to come that same day, but stayed on the phone with me to talk through our situation and give me advice on what to do until he could come out with his equipment. He kept on letting me know that he would not leave me alone with this situation. B/c of this being an emergency, Jason ended up coming out on Sunday to help us with this situation. He was able to completely eradicate the swarm, took time to safeguard both the outside and inside of our home, and would not leave until he felt sure that we would not be harmed. His diligence, professionalism, incredible customer service and concern for his clients (as well as the bees!) was a true blessing! Also, this was a true value (cost-wise) for the above-reproach work completed. We will be calling back Humble Bee once summer hits and we get yellow jackets in our front yard. I called two Pest Control companies previously to remove a yellow jacket hive. The hive was located on the second story at the roof line. Also, it was the size of a basket ball. I described all the information to them. The first company never showed nor did they call. The second company arrived late and although I had described the situation in detail the exterminator said, "gee, I would have to suit up and bring a tall ladder!" Gee, isn't that their business?!! That company quoted me a BIG PRICE. Probably, they just didn't want to do the job. Fortunately, I called HUMBLE BEE at 12:30pm and they came at 6:30pm (as the yellow jackets go into the hive overnight, and not active.) Jason is awesome. I had called him because we had bees swarming around an exterior vent that led to our fan over the stove range. The bees had begun to come inside thru the duct and into the house. He said he could be over in a couple hours because he had other jobs which is understandable. Within an hour a swarm had clumped inside and all around the vent, I called him with an update and he came over as quick as he could. He also gave me directions on the phone of how to try to keep the bees out of the house while we waited by turned on the vent fan and smoking them out (I fried chiles, worked pretty well). When he go to us he removed all the bees and placed mesh over the vent to prevent further issues. Every professional, great prices, highly recommend. Thanks Jason! read more

Jason was fantastic. Bees were starting to build a nest in our chimney but luckily the queen hadn't arrived yet so he was able to screen the top of the chimney and seal off the fireplace in our living room. He explained everything as he did it, as well as, give us an informative lesson on bees. Within a week all the bees we gone. I cannot even collect interest because they filed SC-105 when I was out of the town, so the case was automatically closed after 10 days without the typical 10% annual interests (total $237.55).
