Had been wanting to try this place after being recommended by a couple at another restaurant. We were definitely impressed and can't wait to have a chance to go back. Their forno bread is very tempting, I couldn't get enough of it! We tried their camarones (shrimp appetizer) and it was prepared just right, cremini sachetti pasta was delightful and very satisfying. Their interior is very pleasant, just makes you want to stay there longer than you should, sipping on your favorite glass of wine from their extensive wine offerings with your favorite person, or solo. I love their short rib grilled cheese with dangerous obsession, having ordered it thrice. Thus, tonight I MUST order something new. Server was not great we waited for 15 before we had any service and other tables that had been sat after us were getting service and already having their orders taken. The table directly next to us outside on the patio was smoking a joint. A server, saw it myself and my partner also saw it. We told the manager as well as a hostess, and nobody did anything I had even told him I am asthmatic and the smoke affects my breathing. When I spoke to the manager, he was honestly rude and aloof, and offered to move us after we were already done with her food. Offered no service comp or apology. And said nothing to the table and allowed them to continue smoking. He said that he personally didn't see anything although one of his male servers did as well as myself and my partner, and there are three cameras out here that if need be someone could've checked. It was like they ripped apart the brussel sprout and it was paper thin. It sat on some hummus. It wasn't terrible, but I prefer more of the brussel sprout. For my main course I had a burger and fries. Fries were crunchy and had some good flavor. The burger came with some shredded cheese that was cold and not melted. So just took it off. We started with the Forno bread which was tasty, but "floppy." It wasn't crispy at all. We ordered the Maximus pizza, Short rib grilled cheese & Pasta Rosa & Meatballs. 1. Pizza was okay. I've had better. 2. Where was the cheese on the grilled cheese? 3. Pasta was good. Meatballs were tender. The server really seemed to rush us through our meal. We all felt pressured to order an appetizer, we hadn't even taken a couple of bites and she was ready to take our meal orders. After we had started to eat, she came by once to see how we were doing, brought us a carafe of water. We were barely done and asked if we needed boxes. Then our birthday churros came. Those churros. Wow! Tabke cleared, water carafe taken, and we stayed to chat & catch up BUT one of thw hostesses finally came round and asked if we needed anything else. We truly felt that if we had neen drinking, we could have stayed longer. But, it just felt like we should leave. Would we go back, maybe. We were starving and in the area so we decided to check out Humble Bistro. We showed up around Noon and it was fairly crowded. The interior of the restaurant is dark but beautiful. We opted for the patio, which is gorgeous, but seating could be improved. We were sat in a hard, wooden booth that was in direct sunlight. There is no shade but some umbrellas. However, the vibe was cute and there was a live singer who was really good. It felt like we were in Italy. Our server was Brooke. She wasn't extremely good or extremely bad, just a neutral server. Everyone we encountered was polite, but service could be a bit more attentive in my opinion. We started with "Those Camarones", a shrimp appetizer. They came quickly and the presentation was beautiful, but they were extremely spicy. We weren't expecting them to be covered in chili flakes. The shrimp were hot and cooked nicely but sadly the spiciness overpowered any of the garlic and lemon flavor that was described. For entrees, we decided on brunch. I got the Salmon Benedict. Other guests got the BK Sandwich and the Classic. My Benedict was disappointing. There was way too much hollandaise sauce so the whole dish was soggy. The eggs were scrambled instead of being poached which was strange. The whole dish was salty and disappointing, however the colorful roasted potatoes were good. The house-made English Muffins were overcooked. The other guests didn't love their dishes either. Overall, the atmosphere and live music was great and the staff was pleasant, but the food left a lot to be desired. It wasn't extremely overpriced, and the food had potential, so we may be back. Next time we may go for dinner and eat inside. On the bright side, we've definitely had worse food for a higher price. read more

These pizzas rival the best pizzas in Europe!!!! And the brownie! OH MY GOD! Seriously, the best brownie I've ever eaten anywhere! Recently we decided to stop in just for dessert, but then we decided to try the hummus appetizer, too. I kid you not - we sat at the bar eating this hummus having repeated foodgasms! I tried to talk with the manager, but only received a very unkind and snarky reply. I left an Instagram DM message for the chef and part owner Jorge Gomez. He gave me zero response. Went here for the first time to celebrate Mother's Day. First disappointment is there is no high chairs. I have never had this issue so unfortunately my 1 year old had to sit in the booth with us which potentially tainted my experience. We tried the Cobb salad, the fig flatbread, the truffle pasta and the churros desert. Honestly it was all good but nothing amazing and nothing I'd crave to come back for.
