Being from New England, I was so excited about this place. But, I've been there three times and I feel compelled to write a review. The service has been great each time. What I found disappointing is the take on classics. Oysters without horseradish and cocktail sauce. When I asked, I received horseradish and five different sauces, none of which were cocktail sauce. The shrimp cocktail was warm and came with tiny shrimp. The portions of the mains were too small. This isn't classics with a twist, this is overthinking it. Like a lot because they were all room temp. - Instead of serving Oysters on a bed of salt, serve on ice - Let the customer know what oysters are which in a mixed dz so if I like one and want to order more, I know what to order. - Keep working on those flavors. Everything is real close but we ate family style and nothing really wow'ed us. - The halibut (could have been grouper I can't remember) cheeks were on the dry side. Again, awesome menu item but just needed a bit more love. - Room temp table water I'll be back for sure because these folks know food and I'm pretty sure they will work out the kinks. This whole experience was amazing from start to finish. I managed to clumsily cut my finger from a glass that I broke and you'd think I was part of the staff with how quickly they came to help.... They ran across the street to find some bandaids for me and I truly felt like they went above and beyond to make sure we recovered from a rough start. And boy did they. We ordered the Lobster Bisque and Shrimp cocktail for starters. The shrimp was solid but it very well may have been the best Lobster Bisque in the valley, it was that good. We then ordered a round of oysters and their fan favorite tuna carpaccio and were blown away. Head Chef Jorge came out and walked us through both of the dishes, explaining exactly what incredible rainbow of flavor we were eating with each bite. Would 11/10 recommend you try their tuna carpaccio, even the chef shared it was his favorite dish. We finished off with the lobster & more dinner and that lobster didn't stand a chance , it was cleaned off the shell before the dish had been at our table for 10 minutes... that good. Overall my girlfriend and I were blown away by our experience here. From going out of their way to make my mistake better, to their top tier dishes, this group went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. This place has it all... the staff, the cooks, the dishes, the ambiance. SAD! Won't be returning. They had a decent menu; however, one small complaint and one huge problem will stop us from returning. We were there shortly after Happy Hour. We wanted the salmon dip appetizer on the Happy our menu, which one of our guests has had before. We did not expect Happy Hour pricing. The server firmly said NO! It's after HH. WIth some pushing, she went to check if we could order it anyway, at any price. Another person (manager?) came out to tell us NO! It wasn't available... ?? Smoked salmon entree was on the menu... Hard to believe they couldn't/wouldn't make one more appetizer a few minutes after Happy Hour??? The MAJOR issue was the level of "background music".... It wasn't! We politely requested the music be turned down, just little, so we could talk without screaming AND so the server could hear us without repeating ourselves. She firmly said, "That's a hard NO! Not sure!!! The food was really amazing! Lots of good choices. Confusing happy hour menu. Scallop Crudo was fantastic. HH Sliders excellent. Lobster Bisque delicious! Decor is really nice! So different and fresh. Service was great! But, and a big but! The music is ear splitting. And don't even think about asking them to turn it down. The people sitting behind us asked and were told. Sorry nope! We mentioned it to the hostess on the way out. She has obviously heard it a million times already and brushed us off. It's SO LOUD you can't even think!! Don't know if we'll be back. I'll start with saying the atmosphere is great and the service was good. So good job on that. I am not sure I would come back though. The music is just too loud. It's not a large restaurant so there's no reason it should be as loud as it was. The food was just ok at best. Every dish was so bland with no flavor at all. The lobster roll was a dry croissant with 4 pieces of shrimp and 3 pieces of lobster. Not worth the price. The ceviche was also flavorless and the chips they served with it nothing would even fit on it because the ceviche was not chopped up. If they fixed the music and the food it could be a great place. The only "downside" to our experience was learning they opened in October and we missed all that time to try this outstanding restaurant. We will for sure be back. This is our first time here. We came for a 21st birthday celebration. Our server made the experience far better than expected. Sultan was amazing all the way through the meal. Listen, I understand it's a brand new restaurant but new restaurants are not new to the Humble concept. Arrived Friday at 4 o'clock for happy hour and the music playing was somber, the walls baron and the atmosphere lacking. I ordered the bucket and shells special, a dozen oysters and a bottle of bubbles for $39. The oysters arrived at room temperature with minimal presentation and no cocktail sauce or horseradish, just over a light bed of rock salt. No small spoons were given to scoop the 3 included sauces, once of which tasted like Bloody Mary mix. I'm all for a business trying to be different stand out from the crowd, but this missed the mark with places like Buck and Ryder and Zinc Bistro close by. The competition is fierce and established with a superior product. The menu was difficult to digest with no clear standouts. Will try again once established. read more

The Humble restaurant group has done it again! This time - elevated!! This place is incredible!!! From the pan tomato bread, shrimp scampo, black hummus - all delicious & full of flavor. The fancy oyster creations are magnificent. The waygu and shrimp, ceviche and my personal fav the tartar. The high quality fresh oysters and ... sauces! The variety of amazing sauces to compliment the oysters is perfection! The short rib French dip and Cesar salad are also winners! I recommend the crispy potatoes. Wow, I've been wanting to try HOB since they first opened a few months ago. My first visit didn't disappoint! The ambiance is clean/modern with a good music variety played at the right volume (contrary to earlier reviews, the music volume was perfect so perhaps it was recently adjusted). The oyster selection was great and if "bubbles" are your thing the wide selection at various price points won't disappoint. When I return, i would definitely have a hard time not ordering the halibut cheeks and French dip again (could this French dip made with short-rib be the best in the valley???) Service... Spot on In closing, easily a restaurant not to be missed. My only ask would be to extend the limited happy hour time slot (ie, start at 3:00 and/or extend until 6:00). read more

This Seafood Parlor is a restaurant you don't want to miss! I was a bit hesitant since I don't really like oysters but they had so many other items to choose from! Our server Navi was so sweet and helpful! We will request her when we go back! The restaurant is bright with everything very white and clean. We ordered a bottle of the Charles Roux sparkling rose. Very reasonably priced and tasted delicious! For a starter we ordered the shrimp scampi. For our main dish we split the Lobster Roll with a side salad. I have been wanting to try this place for the last few months and just never make it over to High Street! OMG amazing! We had 2 dozen of super fresh oysters. Love that they focus on East Coast oysters. A bottle of really good bubbles was such a nice treat with the oysters. My husband had the Cajun shrimp steamer pasta. He loved the dish. I had a salad which was great and our friend had the lobster/shrimp roll. We all loved our meals. Our server Gen was FABULOUS! And that's an understatement! Sat evening, first time there, 4 people, sorry but horrible experience. Music so loud, asked to drop it just 1 decibel but was told by manager she couldn't do that because that's what the customers want. Needed light from phone to read menu, not just us seen other tables doing the same. Order 2 iced teas and 2 wines. 15 minutes later 2 teas arrived 10 minutes later 1 wine arrived had to ask 2 more times for other wine so we can toast. Did not have the red sangria we ordered so that had to get something else. Now for the meal first entree came out then 5 minutes later the 2nd arrived, 5 + minutes later the 3rd arrived ( no exaggeration here) had to ask 2 more times for the fourth but told it's coming out of the other kitchen which is backed up because we only have 3 steam pots. Food was ok but my lobster and shrimp roll was some tender shrimp and a small but sufficient lobster tail was just placed on top of a croissant. Nothing else on it but a sauce on the side. Very unappealing. Check came and the 14.00 glass of wine was charged at $24.00. There is not even a $24.00 glass of wine on the menu. Oops, they must have charged you for the 9 oz pour. 20 minutes to get a house wine, 4 meals come out 5 minutes apart. Sorry unexceptionable. Will never go back. $25.00 Gift card does not excuse this many screw ups. Shameful. read more

Got very sick from eating there Spanish Octopus. I reached out to manager letting them know I did not want anything from them but wanted them to be aware that I got sick from there food. The manager responded - you can't get sick from our Octopus because it is from a (CAN) and can't transfer food born illness. Also, my friend mentioned she got sick on another occasion eating there Shrimp which is (frozen) and also was told because of that you can't get sick! I would stay away from this place! read more
