Parking was a bit hard but once you find a spot downtown, it's not a bad walk. I believe they are located in a court-like plaza with other businesses with a huge outdoor seating area. I ordered the Miso Healthy Bowl, Fried Rice with Shrimp and a Kid's Humbowl. Each one was packed with fresh greens, a generous amount of protein, and seasoned with the sauce nicely without overpowering the other flavors from the veggies or protein. Honestly, it felt good eating clean. I feel like you get a good amount of grains, greens, healthy fats, and protein while at Humbowl. I truly appreciate their Kid's Bowl because it's not too little and it's also not too much for a kid who may or may not even eat their food. The service was pretty quick. There were at least 2 or 3 parties ahead of mine and I still got my order in a timely matter. Overall, I'll definitely be ordering my lunch or dinner here when I'm in the area for work! read more

I absolutely love Humbowl! All of their bowls are vegan as is, and I usually add tofu as my protein. The seasonabowl is fantastic, and the Thai Curry Bowl is SO good, the flavors are lively and just absolutely on point. Also, the iced tea here is great. I had my first Humbowl yesterday at the new San Rafael location, and I look forward to many more in my future! What I ordered: Thai Curry bowl: sautéed greens, garlic mushrooms, zucchini, roasted sweet potatoes, cilantro, mint, with brown rice & quinoa and coconut curry sauce (red curry paste, garlic, ginger, lime, chili, salt, coconut milk, lemongrass) I added tofu and it was delicious...and so clean. So many foods leave me feeling bloated these days, and this did not! Other protein options included chicken, shrimp, and eggs. I loved that my to-go order was packed with the sauce in a separate container for easy transport home. The sauce added a delicious, clean pop of curry flavor. The bowl portion was large, a solid value for the price. I also enjoyed an iced tea made with Numi Tea (my fave! organic, fair-trade, and plastic-free tea bags!). My food and drink were ready within about 6 minutes! Humbowl's menu is entirely gluten-free, and most menu items are customizable and can be made vegan. And as mentioned, everything is made to order. I feel like most of the time my body is really wanting to me to eat healthy, but it's so easy not to. There are so many tempting foods out there that are very tasty, but make us feel terrible after eating them. Humbowl is great because they make healthy food taste good and you feel so satisfied when eating their food. This is why I love Humbowl, and I really hope they open a few more of these, especially up in Sonoma County. My wife and I shared two bowls when we went in. We had the Thai curry with tofu and the Togarashi 2.0 with tofu as well. Both of these bowls had amazing flavors and were so healthy at the same time. I highly recommend both of these bowls. I plan on heading back here to try more things, but this was a good start. The restaurant itself is simple. The service was good and the food came out very quickly. I found it a bit funny that they were playing loud mariachi music, but this is not a Mexican restaurant. Oh well, it's good music! It's very clean, just like it's menu! I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scrambowl. The portion is sizable and I started out hungry but I was very satisfied afterwards. It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The Thai Curry was also well portioned. The curry was flavorful and all of the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Eric advised us on the menu, supported me through the ordering process and troubleshooting quantities needed, checked out our location ahead of time, arrived early/on time for set up, and provided all of the signage we needed to ensure people knew ingredients and allergy information. The food was great - so healthy and filling. We heard numerous compliments about the food, including from many people who said they would like to use Humbowl for a future event in their work unit. We also appreciated their provision of serving utensils and the eco-friendly materials (bowls and serving containers). The fact that they have a neurodiverse hiring program that supports inclusion in our community was icing on the cake. We are already planning to use them for our next event. Humbowl is AMAZING! I was ordering individual boxes for 70 people with MANY specific allergies. Not only did the team CREATE a menu for me based on the allergies that I sent them (including listing out which bowls each person could or could not eat AND created a special bowl JUST for one of my specific allergy guests), but they also brought an allergy sheet, cards that listed the ingredients of each item, and hot sauce with an ingredient list. I cannot thank them enough. The gluten and dairy free menu is a HUGE help, but they went above and beyond to help me find meals for citrus, soy, treenut, corn, peanut, and more complex allergy profiles.
