When Tony Tuttos restaurant left Mill Valley, we went into mourning. So we rejoiced when they relocated to Ross. Everything on the menu is just wonderful. Even their arugula salads are absolutely exceptional. They use the best olive oil and their chef makes excellent soup. They're vegetarian minestrone soup is so hearty, sometimes I take it home and dilute it with hot water to make it last longer!!! read more

Let's face it, sometimes things go wrong. Oh so very wrong, where staying in bed and pulling the covers over your head was probably the choice of the day, but a decision was made to forge ahead. Tony Tutto's, we've never eaten there. But we do pick up their pizzas and dine at home, mostly because they are close to our home. In the summer, they served a pizza we LOVED! It had sweet summer corn and greens and pesto drizzle - we loved it! We also love their pizza crust! not too thick, but al dente to the bite! Great stuff! When summer started to give way to fall, you can imagine our surprise when we saw this summer pizza still on their menu! So we ordered it and as you can imagine our surprise and "upsettedness" when we got a pizza with potatoes - Potatoes! We were upset. This is not a reason "not" to go to Tony Tutto's, but I was not looking forward to what I thought would be a contentious encounter with staff because we got the absolutely wrong pizza. I got the requisite hostess/server who stated the manager was "out" but that she would take our information and have her contact us. I was not optimistic they were even going to call us back, but about 1/2 hour later, she called! She was very apologetic - stating that there was some technology "glitch". She thought she changed the monthly options on the website, and it showed for her, but not for the customers. She immediately changed the information and told me she would credit my credit card for the pizza and explained to me when to expect a credit would show up on my credit card. So in the end, what is there to complain about? As a matter of fact, I am so happy that our problem was taken care of quickly, efficiently and in a friendly manner! So, when mistakes happen, the worth of an establishment is not so much that the mistake took place, but how they react when these things happen. I would recommend Tony Tutto's in a heartbeat. This is a sad review for a former favorite of mine and my hiking friends. We frequently stop and have, in the past, enjoyed the great service, the young people at the counter and the food. Tuesday was the worst pizza I have ever been served. We love the mushroom pizza, but on Tuesday, it seemed they had run out of toppings. We got the usual good crust with a few miserable pieces of vegetables on top. The delightful young counter person was extremely apologetic but he seemed uncomfortable and not knowing what to do. We left a nice tip and kept our comments to ourselves but c'mon, you can do better. We're now trying to decide whether this is what we get with the change in management, or this was a one off. I don't like dissing a restaurant as friends are restauranteers and we know it's hard to come back from a one star. Talk to us management. What happened on Tuesday. Delicious, creative pizza. Tried both gluten free and regular crust. Enjoyed both of them. Sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance of a quiet street across from a large park. Didn't try deserts but people at the next table said they were delicious and not too sweet. read more

Amazing selection of pizzas that are super friendly for anyone with dietary restrictions, lovely cafe type ambiance with opportunity to people watch folks on the main street, and great service! My husband and I came here on a Sunday afternoon after a quick hike with friends - we were all hungry! The menu offered vegan and gluten free options (including vegan tiramisu!). We went to order at the register and were given recommendations/top sellers. My husband and I love olives so we decided to go with Olive You. The food came out quick! Given our group size we decided to eat at the picnic tables at the park across the street. The pizza was delicious!!! They weren't shy with the olives and the crust was nice and crispy. The new owner of Tony Tutto Pizza has taken a great pizza place in Ross and transformed it into an even better restaurant. I didn't think that kind of thing ever happens, but it did. We're absolutely delighted that they've done such an outstanding job by adding even more vegan items to their menu, while keep and improving the ones they already had. The Some Like it Hot vegan pizza is absolutely our favorite and we can now add a vegan cheese topping. It just takes the flavor to a whole new level. They also offer a variety of vegan soups that are just incredible. Their minestrone soup is probably the best minestrone soup I've ever tasted. Far better than I've experienced in any of the Italian restaurants in Marin or SF by miles. We're really excited to try everything on the menu that's vegan. It's opened up a whole new experience for us and we couldn't be more grateful to the new owners. Please keep doing what you're doing!! If you haven't here in a while or have never tried it, I highly recommend a visit. Honestly would never have found this place if it wasn't for a recommendation from my GF who said it's one of her favorite pizza places. The restaurant is located in a really awesome location at the corner of the street where I felt like I went back in time. The area is super clean. I ordered out but my gf said she can smell the pizza walking into the restaurant and loved how there's flour everywhere because the pizza is made the authentic way. We ordered on the phone before and our pizza was ready when we got there. We ordered: Smokie: Delicious! I loved the fresh tomatoes. You can really taste the fresh ingredients and the hand made dough. While I'm a bit upset that Tony no longer is in Mill Valley, I'm glad he was able to continue his fantastic business in Ross! Tony Tutto was a favorite of ours when they were still in Mill Valley. We were really sad to see them go, as it is the quintessential mom and pop shop that makes America great...apologies for the pun. And the new shop in Ross is pretty much a more modern, yet equally modest and down-to-earth continuation of its predecessor: vegetarian pizzas with wonderfully unusual toppings. Many vegan options. My family and I had such a great lunch here last week! The restaurant is bright and comfortable, and we all thought the food was SO delicious! I had one of the pizzas, my husband a calzone, and my sister had the vegetable soup as well as a beautiful vegetable salad which we all shared. I just feel the need to post my appreciation for Tony Tutto's. Many years ago, my buddy took me to Tony Tutto's in Mill Valley after a day at Stinson. I wasn't really in the mood for pizza, but man, once I ate a slice of that Magic Mushroom, I was hooked, it was like crack... The Smokey cheese, the meaty mushrooms, the crispy crust, the bright pop of the tomato ... damn, I can taste it now... One week later, Tony Tutto's was gone, and so was my pizza. So what doesn't dope fiend do when he has no dope? He tests out other dope, trying to find a replacement... lol. I tried a BUNCH of different pizza, trying to find something that was close, and while so many were good, none of them met the quality of Tony Tutto's. Eventually, life does it's thing and you carry on, but every once in a while, life reminds you of your beautiful past, and the pizzas that were a part of it. This is what happened to me. A couple weeks ago, food network was on in the background and the chef starts talking about a mushroom pizza. My brain immediately decided to remind me of the Magic Mushroom and all of its beauty, and all of a sudden I had this craving for it again. Luckily Yelp is right at my fingertips and I learned right in that moment that Tony Tutto's had reopened on Ross Common. THANK GOD AND ANY OTHER DEITIES/SPIRITUAL BEINGS Y'ALL MIGHT BELIEVE IN. I no longer live in Marin, but in the past 3 weeks, I've come from the east bay twice, just to get my fix! I'll be continuing to do this until I'm no longer able... Idk what happened to Eddy's Market, and I'll miss your sandwiches, but IMO, You couldn't have a better replacement than Tony Tutto's! I'll be seeing you all soon! So glad I discovered this place! It is located right next to the park in Ross on your way towards Phoenix Lake. They offer vegetarian pizzas and entrees only. But let's be real- vegetarian pizza is the best. I tried their vegan special pizza - leeks & sweet peppers (no cheese)- it was great! The crust was nice, the toppings were fresh and I love that they are generous with the tomato sauce. I also had a piece of their faccacia from the case: cheese, peppers and chili flake. The faccacia was the highlight. I definately recommend you try it! I also had a small mixed green salad with lemon vinaigrette. I was really disappointed in this salad. It was overly bitter with the greens and the dressing needed more lemon and salt- it was a bland infused olive oil essentially. I will return to try more of their vegetarian delights. read more

Tony tuttos not only brings an authentic uniqueness to the privileged/ cookie cutter town of Ross, the quality of the food itself is unbeatable for the price. These days it is hard to find a high quality meal with a personable crew for under $15-$25! Tony's prices are fair and he should honestly be charging more. He offers vegan options (I am vegan) that are inspired by his Italian and French Canadian background soooo delish. Never enough good things to say about this man or this establishment. read more
