Hummus Bean is a reliable delivery and pickup option for Mediterranean food near Anaheim Hills. The kabobs are fresh made and the portions big. I also appreciate the lavash bread/pita they pack with each plate order. What's keeping it from 5 stars is that sometimes the food can be a bit dry, not only the meat but also the hummus. Otherwise the flavors are exactly what you want and the presentation is great too.

The man working on December 5th around 7:30pm was awesome! He was so good at explaining menu items and very quick to make sure we were served our food quickly. The food was DELICIOUS. I got a pita wrap with steak. My husband got loaded fries. All of their dipping sauces were awesome. Their fries were so crispy on the outside and nice and soft in the inside. We sat outside. It was a nice night and super cute patio area.

I wish I tried this place sooner. I was so happy to find a delicious Mediterranean place close by! They're decently priced and have good portions. I was able to take my beef Greek salad with me to work the next day. The beef was cooked to perfection, medium rare. The kefta kabob plate was also superb! The kefta had the perfect texture and I enjoyed the slight spicy kick in the hummus! Thin slices of Naan bread came with the meals as well. Service was very warm and welcoming. My bf and I were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked it. We ordered at the register and we were served within 15 minutes. Ambiance was cozy. There was seating inside and outside. It was cold out, so we chose to sit inside. We're definitely coming back!

This was my first time trying this place and it was not what I had hoped for. The salad was great. The chicken was flavorful but a little dry. The rice was plain, but good. The thing that ruined it for me was the acidic hummus. I have never had a runny, sour hummus. Not sure if it was a bad batch or that's just their style but it really turned me off. For a place that calls themselves hummus bean I expected the best hummus, but I was pretty disappointed. Service was good. I ordered online and the pick up went smooth. The restaurant is small but it looked packed. Maybe that's a sign my experience was just a one-off!

I found this place while searching for a quick lunch spot during my lunch break. I with my colleague for an onsite filming day for a work project in the area. There were many other options in the plaza but Hummus Bean seemed the best bet for our timing, and it had so many good reviews. It's an order at the counter first type of place and the staff was really friendly. I ordered the chicken kabob wrap a la carte, but there's also an option for a combo that comes with fries or a side salad. There was seating inside, but it was such a nice day that we sat outside in the courtyard area next to patrons from other shops in the area. Service was super quick and we both got our food quickly, which was perfect for our schedule. My chicken kabob wrap came with a super creamy, garlic sauce (toum?) on the side that kicked the overall flavor up a notch, even though it was already so good! The chicken was so tender and juicy and flavorful. There were also some greens/veggies inside the wrap which made it feel like a well balanced meal. The portion size was perfect. 9/10. My colleague loved his food as well. I believe he got a falafel wrap. He saved Hummus Bean in his notes so that he would remember to come back when he's in the area! Fantastic quality and value!

What a find! My wife and I have been trying to pursue a healthy Mediterranean diet and found this place that specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. We frequent the shopping center where they are located but had never tried them. We went for lunch and wanted to try a couple different items. We were greeted promptly and the young man behind the counter was very friendly and took our order (he also delivered it and checked on us later as well). A+! My wife ordered the Gyros wrap plate that came with a salad. I ordered the salmon salad and we had to try their hummus with pita. Wow! The portions were large and absolutely perfectly prepared. The gyros wrap was huge and stuffed with delicious gyros meat, lettuce and veggies in a great pita. My wife only could eat half and couldn't touch the salad, so she took it home for a second meal. The salmon salad was perfect. Large plate of greens with cucumbers, green and red bell peppers, and olives. The salmon was perfectly prepared with a really nice, lite glaze on it. The lemon dressing perfect for a Mediterranean style salad. I ate all of it! The hummus and pita was absolutely delicious. I loved how it wasn't over seasoned, with just a hint of lemon and paprika. You could taste the chickpeas. The pita was light and thin, which was a little different from other Mediterranean restaurants pita. But it was the perfect compliment to the delicious hummus, leaving you less full after enjoying it. We washed it all down with a delicious and refreshing watermelon virgin mojito. You must try this if you love watermelon! Awesome! I can't wait to come back and try f at one of their other offerings, like their beef and chicken shish-kabobs and some baklava! You wont be sorry for trying Hummus Bean. It will be your new fave! It is ours!

Chicken, beef, and kefta plate - kefta was juicy and perfectly seasoned, my favorite. chicken was juicy but a bit bland. steak was a bit tough but well seasoned. LOVE the hummus, it was not overly sour and has a really clean taste. I liked how the pita bread was thin and not overly doughy, paired very well with the hummus. Staff friendly, we waited about 15 min for our food. Easy and free parking. Lemon/cucumber infused water available.

Ilario was so sweet, he brought out extra rice and cucumber juice for us it was so nice!!! Food was amazing, gyro and rice is just delicious.

I ordered the gyro fries and the baklava. The concept of gyro fries is a good one. I unfortunately did not enjoy them much because there was too much on top of the fries so they became soggy. I ate the fries but there were so much of the toppings left over. Next time I order the gyro fries, I will request that they go lightly on the toppings. The baklava was great. It wasn't the best I've had but it was not bad. The service was excellent and the ambiance is nice. You can eat inside or outside on the patio. Verdict: I will be back. I like the menu.

Ari was super friendly and gave us great service. He was so patient with me when I was indecisive about my order and also let me sample all the juices to decide which one I wanted. The food was super good. I highly recommend the garlic sauce with the meats, but they're juicy and really flavorful either way. Definitely give this place a try!

Decided to eat here after the gym and was pleasantly surprised. The place is fairly small and can get smoky when they get to cooking but wasn't offensive. The food was pretty good and decently sized. The staff were very friendly and nice. They provided me extra toum so extra stars there.

Finally gave this place a try after driving past it 100 times. I ordered several items to go for the family, chicken kabob plate, beef kabob plate, kefta kabob plate, gyro sandwich with fries, Ruby's special salad. All the meats were very tender and flavorful. The portions of meat and rice and bread were generous but I could have used a little more salad. Next time I'd probably make one of the plates, a salad order instead so that I get enough greens for my liking. And of course everything came with the all important GARLIC SAUCE. Definitely give this place a try if you are craving Arab food! read more

This place is great for take out! The meals are a bit pricey so keep that in mind. The chicken tastes really good but the beef is a bit tough. So I will go with chicken the next time. I will like to say the the guy working the cashier and arranging the meals was nice. I don't know how to spell his name but starts with an S. I did order a bit late and hour before closing and he was still nice about it and made sure my order was correct. Will be coming back. read more

Hummus Bean is by far the best authentic Mediterranean food we ever had and we tried a lot!!!.....They catered for our baby shower and the food was just simply amazing! BEST falafel I have had in years. It's not dry, generous portions. My BF had the gyro and loved it. Have had the plate once and the wrap once. Great to have a good vegetarian option. Really good Virgin mojitos too. Staff is very friendly! So happy to have a small local business here. read more

Food was tasty (hence an extra star), but not outstanding and not a very good value at $20.88 (including tax+tip) for a Beef Kabob take out plate consisting of 5 small sized pieces of beef kabob, a small side salad, hummus, piece of pita bread and tzatziki sauce. Compared to other similar places, this meal shouldn't cost more than $11.99 (plus tax). Unless the owners can deliver better value, I'm not sure people will continue to pay the prices they're charging for this portion size. read more

Don't go here. Came here twice to go and both times my chicken was burnt and dry. From what i can tell they leave the chicken on the grill and rewarm it when u order making it dry and burnt. I also ordered the beef wrap and fries, beef was dry and fries were soggy. Dont waste your money, go to Rosine's if u want mediterranean. read more

I came to the Hummus Bean on their first night they opened. I had been waiting for it to open since I love any kind of Mediterranean food. Their customer service was very good & the cashier gave me some great recommendations of what to order. I had the chicken kabob plate. It came with rice, pita bread, hummus, a generous portion of chicken & a Greek salad. My husby had the chicken/beef combo kabob plate. The portions were huge & the food was so yummy! Their mojitos were so refreshing. I had the pineapple & watermelon mojito mixed into one, so fruity & tropical. I will definitely be back. Yum! read more

I had always wanted to try the Hummus Bean since I live in the area, and finally did yesterday for lunch. Wow! It is amazing! We each had the chicken kabob plate and both were delicious. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the seasoning was SO good. The plate comes with a greek side salad, rice, hummus and the chicken. ( There are also other choices of meat for the plates, so I intend to try them all!) The service was very friendly and it was nice to sit inside with the A/C since it was a bit hot outside. For beverages, I had the Blackberry mint and my husband had the Cucumber mint "mojitos"... ( non-alcoholic ) and they were both so refreshing!! We can't wait to return and try some of their other selections! Thank you Hummus Bean!! read more

This place is so cute! I was so sad when zpizza closed but finding out a Mediterranean place was going to open made me happy! We came in tonight by chance on our way to eat next door, but once I saw it was finally open, I was excited to try it! I asked the lady at the counter what she orders and ordered exactly that! Terrible! . Higher price for ok to bad food . about $40.00 for two people. Wife got Keffa plate and could not eat it. Meat smelled bad, salad was bad, rice was flavorless and hummus was basic not at all fresh. I got a wrap, not that good, light on meat with leaf lettuce and a smushed tomato. Service was ok but cashier disappeared after giving us the food never to be seen again read more

The food here is amazing they never disappoint. So many healthy and tasty options too. The staff is very kind and accommodating. I typically get the chicken plate which comes with yummy white meat chunks, rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. They also have homemade drinks if you're like me and don't like sodas. I had the opportunity to try this place the other day. I got the gyro fries and they were out of this world good! It was loaded with fresh vegetables, cheese and meat. I was able to eat lunch, and then my leftovers for dinner later. It was so much food! The staff was very friendly too! read more

We were in the area craving some burgers. Came across this place on here and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for some good halal burgers, this is your spot. It is located a busy little shopping next to Starbucks and Corner street bakery. The burger was pretty awesome! The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they had ants crawling on the counter where the juices are. Aside from that, pretty solid food. read more

Best salmon I've ever had! Everything was so delicious, their homemade garlic paste was amazing. Rita, our server, was the best! And the special drinks were good too, like blackberry mint and cucumber lime as well as the regular soda stuff. read more

The wife and I (and sometimes the kids) eat here at least once a month - sometimes 2x. She likes the chicken kebabs. I like the falafel plate. The loaded fries are a meal in themselves. The salad is good as a side too. Good food at reasonable prices. read more

Though the sandwiches are pricey, you get your moneys worth...usually. The reason for 4 stars is that recently we've noticed the quality of the sandwiches aren't what they use to be. Usually they are loaded with meat, but recently they've been lacking. This has happened on a few occasions. It's just such a bummer when you pay $15 for a sandwich and the quality is just not there. I'm writing this in hopes of management seeing it so they can improve. I love this place and it's usually a nice treat for me for the week I look forward too so I hope they can get their sandwiches back up to what they use to be. Also the secret sauce is fire. I loveeeee it.

Of the two, I enjoyed the Montague, particularly the garlic sauce. As a big bread pudding fan, I knew I had to try it when I spotted it in the display case. However, I wish the menu had noted that it was accompanied by a lemon glaze/sauce. I'm not a fan of lemon-flavored desserts and had I known beforehand, I either would have requested it without the sauce or skipped the dessert altogether. Rice was wet (strange) and the hummus was awful - oily and not flavorful. Pita bread was very thin and flaky so not ideal.
