The woman here gave me the worst customer service! Dirty look because she had to clear a table so I could eat in not take out, Asked for hot sauce she said I asked you at the beginning of your meal and you said no! Really!! the food was not bad but the woman here is so rude! They were also arguing in the kitchen very loud I cannot enjoy my food I will never eat here again this was the worst customer service ever!

Came back here after many years for some take out and I became an instant fan. During covid times "take out" is beyond necessary and to find a spot that continues to deliver amazing food at a responsible price is EVERYTHING. I only wish I had given them another try sooner. Great Chinese food in Camarillo with a large menu, friendly service, awesome lunch prices, and delicious food. Their lunch specials run around $12-15 a person and they are well worth it. Lunch specials come with your entree, rice, and soup. Aside from the tasty food and reasonable prices, they bang out the food quick here! Makes for a perfect quick lunch spot or when your in a rush with hungry family members at home, I know this spot can get the food prepared in no time. When I order in person or over the phone I swear the food is always ready in 10-15 minutes. So convenient! For lunch I've tried the Mongolian beef, shrimp with lobster sauce, and sweet & sour chicken. All of the food here is fresh & delicious, I'd highly recommend giving this spot a try. Service has always been friendly and my order is always packaged correctly and securely for your travel back home. Please support this local business.

It felt like going into someone's house. Very cozy place and food came out quickly. I usually rely on Yelp photos because I'm not very familiar with the dishes, so I like to see what I may order. Susan was so sweet and while we decided what to eat, she pulled my daughter aside and drew her picture. It was so quick and she's so talented. I appreciated the detail. Husband ordered combination chow fun, I ordered fried pork and then we got the steamed dumplings with pork. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Beware that portions are big. We had half leftovers to take home, even though we were starving when we got there. Service really top notch. Will be back again!

I use to love this restaurant because the of kind service and great quality food. The lady there was always accommodating and nice (pre pandemic). I was so excited to hear they reopened for dine in options in May 2021, so decided to go for a lunch special. I will not go back. The lady was rude and kept letting me know how much she does not like dine in and prefers takeout. Rather than just mention it once and let it go, she made sure I was aware of her stance my entire meal. It was uncomfortable and I noticed her doing this to the other 2 parties dining in. She kept taking her mask on and off and was complaining about everything. My food came out without 2 minutes of me ordering it and I am pretty positive it was microwaved leftovers. The food was piping hot (way hotter than something from a stove top) and seemed to be microwaved to the point that the chicken was rubbery and too hot to eat. It was not fresh. If you ask for anything (a drink, napkin, to go box), she will let you know that those items cost her money and if I did a to go order, they wouldn't cost her. She also let me know that she had to pay for a dishwasher so I could sit and eat in the restaurant. Being that the prices have gone up and you now have to pay for water (bottled only) and tea ($4 a pot), I am in a way paying for those "extra" services. I was really disappointed in her attitude and the food. I wanted to support her business (I pick one local restaurant a week to support) and felt like I was inconveniencing her by paying her to eat at her establishment. It's too bad because I use to love going here for her kindness and the food quality. There's too many other places I can support that will treat me with some common decency.

Great delicious food. The inside has personality. It's quirky, and filled with stuffed animals and fabrics. But, the food it really good.

When I walked in, the woman in the front was actually calling me at that moment to let me know our order was ready. You get an INSANE amount of food for two people with the meal deal. 2 entrees, 2 pc of fried shrimp, 2 pc eggrolls, a large container PACKED with fried rice, and a large container of the most delicious and comforting wonton soup. We got the Family Delight, Kung pao chicken, and We added a third entree so we could try the noodles. The third entree definitely wasn't necessary for just two people we now have leftovers for at least three days. The food was hot, ready when expected, packaged nicely, and delicious! We're so satisfied with this and will definitely be getting the meal for 2 again. I am seriously so surprised at how much they pack food into these containers! We ordered takeout since it's conveniently located next to our gym and there was very little wait when they opened at 11:30 am. The food didn't take long to prepare (about 20-25 minutes) and still tasted warm and fresh when it arrived home. The servings are large, but white rice was not included with the entrees. The restaurant is clean and easy to locate in this shopping complex. The staff is very attentive to phone orders, and even prioritized taking a phone order ahead of me, even though I showed up first. Their service is hit and miss, but food is consistently tasty. Much better than ordering from a fast food Chinese restaurant. Give them a shot if you have patience and like freshly cooked Chinese food.

When I was a student here, I often frequented Mom Wong's or Tortillas and they're still here which is incredible. Mom Wong's is very student-friendly prices as well. Each dish pictured here was about $10-12 and the portions are huge! Seriously, if I was still a student here I'd be going here every week because I'd have enough food for three days. Now for the quality of the food... each dish was great. The chow mein, which included chicken and shrimp, was awesome. Seasoned nicely and not too greasy. The orange chicken, which looked and tasted a bit more like sweet and sour chicken (not mad about that!), was also very good and retained its crispiness. The fried rice, which is what my wife ordered, was good, kinda soy sauce heavy but it had a nice flavor overall. (Tbh idk why but I've never been a huge fan of fried rice).

Inside the restaurant, the ambiance is casual. I ordered the Juicy pork dumpling($10.99 ) and Milk tea with boba ($4.49). The dumplings were very juicy and a little sweet. That would be nice if they had some ginger slices and black vinegar for the dumplings. About boba tea, it's good. I prefer the tea to be stronger. Boba tea was warm, which means it's fresh, but needed more ice. They always serve in to-go containers. This place is good for friends, couples, and families. Parking is in front of the restaurant.

I like the house special braised pork belly which is a caramelized and salty meat in a pot. Delicious with copious amounts of white rice. Some of my favorite items to get at this place are: -Stir fried intestines - these are cooked with spices and numbing pepper. The intestines taste like they were deep fried and have a crunch to them. -Mushroom medley - 3 different types of mushrooms in a brown sauce and some type of white meat. -Beef rolls - sliced beef inside a flaky savory pancake with hoisin sauce and cilantro This is a great spot for Hunan-style dishes that have the complex smoky, spicy, and numbing spice flavors. No biggie - patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you had in mind. I had to write a review because I knew one particular person was going to tarnish them because they didn't have that patience. As I suspected, he did. See the other review entry for today. It's definitely him. Let me share with you the chain of events I witnessed that allowed me to connect the dots so I can likely assume was him. With us other patrons waiting so patiently, because again, the manager was sharing with us how they were looking and was super apologetic. One can only tell you 10-15 mins but hey I knew I wasn't the only one there. Except for this guy who believed he was the only patron and should have been waited on hand and foot. He says 45 mins. I call BS. I was there. At the end of it all, he and his party walked out because 10-15 mins in a restaurant with patrons eating in and taking out was "too long." Thank goodness. Plus his attitude to some of the patrons was gross. The cherry on top was he was honking his horn to Mandarin Bistro for some reason as he was driving away. Um ok? In conclusion to that fool, YOU want private dining, stay your ass at home.
