The food here is consistently delicious. This is my go to Chinese food spot. They always prepare my order quickly.

Since there's only 2 Chinese Restaurants in Clinton, and none in Lebanon, I do frequent Hunan Wok often; it's much easier than going all the way to Branchburg, which is the next closest Chinese. Very standard food, nothing is shockingly good, nor is it bad -- it's just fine -- fills the tummy when you're hungry. I do like that they now serve brown rice at no extra charge -- from memory the lunch special is now served with just soup and choice of rice, they just don't serve the eggroll like they did back in the day, and of course the price is a bit more ( sign of the times), but still the standard price, so a pretty good deal. read more

First off I will agree this place is dirty but most places like it are so why act surprised. Never gotten sick though. We usually get take out because it's not really a place you enjoy sitting down and having a meaL On the plus side, The food is pretty good more often than not. Steamed dumplings are very good. The main reason I would give 3 and not 4 stars is because every now and then they have an off night when the food isn't very good. By Clinton standards this place holds it's own. read more

Went for lunch. It's a regular Chinese restaurant. Have good lunch specials and food was served quick.

I see and agree with the theme, dirty. I have noticed things where I wish I worked for the health department. Not sure why but after seeing these things the food just just does not seem to taste as good. After eating dinner I feel very swollen the next day and very thirsty. I parked near a van, two gentlemen got out, one made a terrible sound then spit. I followed them in the place. The older gentlemen went behind the counter and started putting rice in containers without washing his hands. I would recommending going elsewhere like flemington. read more

Nice place, very reasonable and the food is good. Try the boneless rib combo and chicken and broccoli.

Somewhat dirty. Biggest issue is the food is inconsistent, sometimes inedible (memories of super greasy and watery beef and broccoli with no flavor). I gave this place 2 stars because the soups are ok and the 2 younger staff members that work the counter are always so nice. read more

Ordered house fried rice and crab rangoon. Pretty tasty but make sure to tell them to leave out bean sprouts because most Chinese joints will add too much of that junk. I thought the rice was good but it seems like the type of soy sauce really determines the taste, and this sauce was OK but not as strong as I prefer. The rangoons were good but nothing spectacular. Just one problem, I ordered general tso chicken and they cooked it in oil that wasn't hot enough. Greasy, mushy chicken pieces. Yuk.

Found them to be very good with the "Happy Family" dinner we have had a few times. Also the boneless ribs and egg foo yung are also excellent! Live near by and locals prefer Hunan Wok... After a few visits we know we wont be dissapointed. read more

There are pretty much two Chinese places in the Clinton area. And I believe they are both very good. I must say the food taste relatively the same so I do not have any complaints. If anything I believe this place has better hard noodles. read more

I purchased their lunch special on Saturday, and their pork fried rice was stink, smelled like carrion. I gave some of it to my dog, and my dog won't even eat it. If you have to go to this place for Chinese food, make sure to avoid any pork dishes. Their meat dishes always have that funny smell. read more

I rarely order from here and reminded why each time. Today I ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was overcooked and hard to chew. Also it looked like they haven't changed the oil for it for some time. Not going back and plan to look elsewhere for Chinese food. read more

Fast food Chinese. My was fine but my wife was very disappointed. Not too many options around but they are better.

We've been ordering from this place for years - it's always been good. Granted - everytime we order we usually order about 100 bucks worth of food, so I'm guessing they probably make it all pretty fresh. We've ordered all different types of things and never been disappointed. We particularly like the sweet and sour chicken and general tso's. read more

Very good...best Chinese food in the area. Looked clean, too. We used to go to Bo Bo Kitchen but it changed ownership and we no longer enjoyed their meals. Hunan Wok may not be the best ever, however it's our go to Chinese food place. read more

Pretty good Chinese food for the area, I would have to say this and peking wok in high bridge are very close on who's the best. I absolutely love there crab rangoons sweet and sour chicken and there pan fried dumplings. Only reason it doesn't get a 4 star from me is because of the fact that they do have there off days. Food has become obscenely greasy. Chicken broccoli had a visibly separated oil slick on top of the entire dish (kind of like when salad dressing separates.) Oil does nothing to add flavor - just leaks all over the bag on the way home. I thought it was an isolated incident, but now 3 times in a row? I'm out. read more
